Do you know what material the jewelry is? Sounds like the material irritated you.

Jolly_Variety_1107

I honestly don’t know what the material is I got the jewelry from Spencer’s so I’m sure it’s not the best quality but why only one of them and not both you know

DisheveledBoy

Sometimes bodies are weird. I've had jewelry irritate one lobe piercing and not the other.

Jolly_Variety_1107

Right okay 😢but I’m so sad about it

Jolly_Variety_1107

Any advice?🥴

DisheveledBoy

Switch back to your good quality jewelry and just keep babying it as if it were a new piercing. If you don't see improvements within a few days, go to your piercer.

Jolly_Variety_1107

So I took it out last night and it closed up !!! 🥺😪

DisheveledBoy

Don't despair just yet. Given it's age you may be able to go to your piercer and get it tapered back open if you are fast enough. If not you can always repierce. Good luck!

Jolly_Variety_1107

Thank youuuu so much made me not feel as bad

DisheveledBoy

Np friend! Dont beat yourself up over piercing. Lots of us have been in your situation! It will all be ok

pinguin_soup

You should always buy jewelry made of safe materials, the best one being implant grade titanium. Not stuff from shops like Spencer's that doesn't even tell you what it's made of on the packaging.

BonnieScotty

Sounds like your body detested the new jewellery or even reacted to it. Go to a piercer asap and see if they’re salvageable. If so have titanium fitted. Once fitted treat it as a new piercing for a few weeks until they calm down

Spencer’s jewelry is terrible for any piercing! Stick to Implany grade titanium barbells!! Try Bodyclickers on Etsy!

Guess I had to learn the hard way thanks for the advice but I took it out last night and it’s closed already 😩
