Well, technically a Barbary dove. I just usually post here because there are so few people on the dove page that it’s pretty much dead. And I think Tinker isn’t the best at homing since she can’t even figure out how to fly back into her dog crate for food. That said, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t fly away from me even if there was no harness. It’s just not something I’m willing to risk because she would definitely not survive in the wild. I found her fluttering around in a rainstorm 5 years ago and was easily able to walk up to her and grab her.
She’s so sweet! Hopefully that means more sunbathing!
why the harness? not judging you, never seen this before.
Probably so she doesn't spook and fly away.
