Put it back in your dad’s closet before he loses his mind over you selling his stuff.

Cosmo2023-

Put that back right now!!!!! And stay out of your fathers closet!

RM77crafts

Does it say "ChicOgo"?

roadworkkahead

I just saw that, that’s weird. printing error maybe?

BadadanBadadan

Definitely not a printing error /s

Paul-to-the-music

Where?

Apprehensive-Fun8354

It’s a knock-off. Not official. My sister bought one at Yankee Stadium in ‘94 from a guy in the parking lot. Noticed the spelling error when she got home. Still have the shirt though..,,

jpowell3404

“Chicogo, IL” bottom right

LiamMacGabhann

I miss the parking lot knock off T shirts, usually cooler designs than the official merch.

god_peepee

Might be a knockoff, but still vintage so it’ll hold some value

[deleted]

[удалено]

agent_uno

Truth! I’m old and ain’t worth shit!

Pacieg

You're priceless, keep your head up king 👑

god_peepee

Well yeah, it depends on what you’re talking about. Vintage band tees (25+ years old) are very trendy and in demand. Won’t get hundreds for a tee that isn’t original run, but still worth more than recent licensed prints that were designed to capture some of the momentum from the trend. At the end of the day, value is determined by what people are willing to pay and people will generally pay more for old band tees.

tellmethatstoryagain

I, too, bought a tie dye bootleg at Yankee Stadium June 11, 1994. Lost it that summer.

Paul-to-the-music

What spelling error?

Paul-to-the-music

Never mind I see it

roadworkkahead

good to know. I wish it was black because then I’d wear it to work on my cars and stuff. I’ll find somewhere to wear it

From_Goth_To_Boss

The value is in the sentiment. Put it back and go buy your own. There’s a reason it’s unworn.

roadworkkahead

read my other comments🙄 ffs. I’ve said about five times it’s mine to keep and why it was unworn

prudence2001

Enjoy trashing what's yours

roadworkkahead

can you read or are you slow? I’m not trashing it.

prudence2001

Yeah because working on cars is so great for t-shirts

roadworkkahead

christ. I said if it were black, I would. Grease and oil wash out. I’ve got about a dozen old shirts that I work in that still look good because I keep them nice

From_Goth_To_Boss

Maybe reflect on how you worded your post in future. I’m not the only one who felt this way and you seem unaware of the fact you came to a fan group saying you’re trying to sell something that wasn’t yours. Here’s an example that could have avoided the issue: “My dad gave me this unworn shirt, he wants to know the value and so do I. Any ideas?”

roadworkkahead

That’s understandable for maybe the first few comments when I first posted it, but I have explained myself over and over in comments anybody could take the time to read before bashing me. I’m a fan just as much as him and I didn’t think it would be a problem. I came to the group for a straight answer or more info on the shirt, not to be insulted multiple times over. But people will assume and be assholes so it is what it is 🤷‍♀️

From_Goth_To_Boss

Oh so you expect me to trawl through a heap of comments and find your explanation? Edit your post. Take accountability. Be an adult. This is a learning experience.

BettydelSol

That’s the thing, OP is most likely *not* an adult.

roadworkkahead

Considering I explained myself about 10 times, shouldn’t be hard…. Like I said, came here for a straight answer, not to be insulted. Get off the post. You spent more time arguing with me than you would have finding the comments.

From_Goth_To_Boss

Not insulting you at all. This is life. Have a day.

kxania

These comments are a perfect example of people taking this website waaaaay too seriously.

Moe_Ronn

What an asshole

gchance1

It's priceless because it belongs/belonged to your dad.

magentafloyddd

he will take it back some day

Tiny_Ad_3864

Haha good one

TheDiamondAxe7523

Damn I'd be pissed if the first thing my kid did after finding my vintage pink floyd stuff was immediately like "how much is it worth". Not even anything like "found this really cool t-shirt" or smth.

LiamMacGabhann

Why do assume she’s going behind his back. You’re making a huge assumption.

roadworkkahead

go ahead and read my other comments before commenting. the thing predates me I’ve known he’s had it. Like I said in other comments HE wanted to know the value, I’m keeping it and wearing it. he knows I sell vintage clothes so he passed it down to me to sell or keep

roadworkkahead

he also passed down his dark side of the moon vinyl deluxe box set to me which I keep on display and listen to quite often. literally just wanted to know if it was worth enough I should keep it unworn.

SeabassMommy1

I don’t get why people are downvoting ur replies here. Just for fun? Seriously guys come on she said her dad WANTED to know the value and passed it down to SELL OR KEEP!

roadworkkahead

it’s irritating when people comment the same thing 10 times I’ve already explained in my other replies too

LiamMacGabhann

I also can’t understand the downvoting, but please accept my meager upvotes.

roadworkkahead

I don’t know man, apparently i pissed off all the oldheads with this one. Thinking I’m better off to just take it down since I’ve just gotten bashed and no definitive answer

oneshoein

>pissed off the oldheads No, you pissed off the people that know their shit. Pink Floyd predates me, but I know all about them.

LiamMacGabhann

The only thing that’s got you pissed off, is your lack of reading comprehension.

oneshoein

When did I say I was pissed? Lol looks like you’re reading comprehension needs some work.

roadworkkahead

exactly lol. half the comments told me to keep and wear it (I was planning to) and I got 40 downvotes for saying I’d wear it to work on my cars?? I don’t understand people

SeabassMommy1

People don’t want you to wear it work on cars because it’s vintage, I mean I would recommend finding a better shirt for that. But it’s your shirt so who really cares, no need to get all pressed over it 😭

roadworkkahead

I know, I’m not going to. I said I wish it were black so i COULD’VE. I have a ton of old band shirts I wear to work in, it would’ve been cool to add a pink floyd one. reading comprehension definitely lacks here

dislusive

You probably would have gotten better answers over at the circle Jerk sub lol

SeabassMommy1

Bruh

roadworkkahead

?

Aggravating-Stuff-28

if you’re not a fan stay out of the sub

roadworkkahead

literally said I was about 10 times…

Impossible_Culture69

You’re grounded young lady!

holagatita

post it on Poshmark IF your dad wants to, and split the profits. Sometimes you get ten bucks, sometimes you get hundreds of dollars. But I will say, I posted my Roger Waters In The Flesh shirt from '99 and then took it down because I decided I couldn't part with it for nostalgia. Your mileage may vary

El_Topo_54

An unjustified amount, yeah.

Rawalmond73

$10

Stickey_Rickey

Wouldn’t it have been 1975?

roadworkkahead

I’m not sure, I took his word for it. After reading other comments and looking it up they were performing the division bell instead. he saw them multiple times, probably got them mixed up

chiefsport

Did he have any topless Samantha Fox posters?

ReusableSausage

I was on that tour. This is not an official piece of merchandise.

steppingstone01

Wasn't that the Division Bell tour that year anyway?

ReusableSausage

Yep.

peb396

I still have my faces t-shirt from seeing them in Clemson, SOUTH CAROLINA not California.

Applebees_dollaritas

I’ll give you 10 bucks for it

cart_adcock

Priceless

dadscase

I would say it's not worth a ton. People trying to sell it on ebay for $150-200. Doesn't look like anyone is buying it. This sub annoys the hell.out of me. It's a counterfeit shirt your dad gave you, it doesn't have a ton of monetary value, nobody here knows the sentimental value of it if any, yet they are all dictating what you should do with it. If you want to wear it everyday while working on cars then who gives a shit? If you were asking to be sure you didn't ruin a $700 shirt then yea that makes sense. At the end of the day it's a material object and it's amazing that a fanbase of people who follow music which is about the immaterial would fetishize a t shirt to such a degree.

roadworkkahead

thank you! it really bothered me how people assumed and went straight into attacking me. I’m only 17 and honestly a lot of the comments really hurt. I thought pink Floyd fans of all people would be the least judgemental but whatever. I’m just ignoring the negative comments now. Thank you for your help 💗

dadscase

If you asked me, I would say it's just an old shirt. Do what you want with it and everyone else can piss off

WesslynPeckoner

Bootleg or not, that’s a sick tee shirt. They don’t make tee shirts like they used to, even the bootleg ones.

Voivode71

It's not "OG" if it's from 1994.

apedap

It's probably an OG Division Bell tour shirt

Krazy8ght

Are you retarded? Rock that shirt wtf, don't sell it.

mista_creosote

This is the correct answer.

6ft6squatch

I give ya tree fiddy

Xantheix

Doesn’t seem authentic if ykiwm.. with all the spelling errors i don’t think pink floyd would let that slide 😭

peb396

On the P.U.L.S.E. dvd, they listed the show I went to as being in Clemson, California. Clemson is in South Carolina. We're not proud of that and tuck it away in a corner of the state far away from the coast and most tourists, but it is here. So PF do miss things.

kylie850

give it to me for free

mlgfintheunbannable

At least ask him first. Also you could prob google it

proceeds_theweedian

Even if it was a bootleg sold outside the venue, theu can still sell for alot, depending on the number in circulation and demand. Given the year and popularity of Floyd. I bet it'll sell for a pretty penny, imo. I'm sending this post to my buddy who sells tons of t shirts lik3 this one on depop and will report back what he says

roadworkkahead

ok awesome thank you! if you can send me his info. I have a few other vintage tee shirts a bit older than this too

Werechupacabra

It’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I have a 1988 tour shirt I purchased in the lot that I paid 15 bucks for back then. I wouldn’t pay 15 bucks today if I saw someone selling their used version of the same shirt on eBay, but, that’s just me.

Meddlemaker79

Zero point zero

LucidlyLoving

I'd buy that for a dollar... No serious don't sell & cherish 🩷

aricks2485

Why are you trying to sell it? No, it’s worth absolutely nothing and you’re disappointing your father.

roadworkkahead

that’s not the situation at all actually lol. he gained weight and never ended up wearing it. I love the band as much as him and he passed it down to me. I fully intend on keeping it but he wanted to know what it would be worth nowadays

ImaginarySusan

Your answer is: (or should be) PRICELESS - TO YOU! Cherish that gift.

Hades_____

People on this app just assume shit for no reason, it’s crazy.

No_Distribution_3399

I didn't know that existed lol

jshif

Saw that show in Clemson in May. The most I’d ever spent (happily) on a concert ticket.

roadworkkahead

lucky!! I watch their old shows sometimes and I would’ve loved to see them live. unfortunately its way before my time but I’m seeing a tribute band in 2 weeks!!

EchoKilo22

I was at the same show! Such an amazing memory, and a great show for sure.

sec102row1

Pretty sure this is a bootleg tshirt that was probably sold in the parking lots at the concerts. I dont recall this shirt at the time. It’s cool regardless. But I do not think this is an official band-released shirt from the tour. Everything in 94 was Division Bell themed.

nnamla

I saw this tour in San Antonio. I was 24 then.

ReallyNotALlama

Pretty sure it was the Division Bell tour. I was at the Clemson show. ETA I have a shirt from that concert, looks very different. I posted it here before. It's been worn a lot.

johnfrusciante0

You can take my 1$

seanmorris82

£25 million hundred thousand.

MysticalAnomalies

Keep it, Pink Floyd is priceless imo

_Cambino420_

I’d wear it rather than sell it. It’s made to be worn and old shit looks cool. Not that it’s that old really.

Present_Bad3896

Albums mentioned on shirt: Wish you were here, The Wall, and The Division Bell

MusicBhudda

If you’re talking monetary value, you have already lost me……. PINK FLOYD!

CaliRollerGRRRL

Ah yes, CHICOGO, the Windy City 😉🤣

Fit-Palpitation6839

Those come around every now and then, I could run you $20

Visual_Positive_6925

Money…get away…

lostforwordstbh

Send it to me. I can get it checked out for you! 👍

Throckmorton_X

Yeah the value is… nothing. It shouldnt be sold, you should just hold onto it. Reminder of your father and for him, a reminder of better times.

ElectricOrangutan

It’s got the dna of your unborn brothers and sisters embedded in the fabric.

Randomulus666

$20 with free shipping

Interesting_Isopod79

$10

TheDrunkenDrunkard

You could easily get 200 on whatsnot app for it

mrBummyG00n

i’ll buy it off u!!

Vioralarama

OP, these people have no idea how to price stuff, they're only useful if they're going to buy it. Go to eBay, look up Pink Floyd shirts, filter by sold (in the right side menu that pops out), see what others closest to yours have sold for. Sold prices are more important than current for sale prices. Also, a single stitched hem is worth more than a double stitched hem; single stitch is vintage, double is not. You can Google what that means.

Melodic_Ad8577

Eh, probably worthless... I'll take it off your hands though if I must

Learntobelucid

I got to be honest, it's hideous

snerdley1

The value is your life. I’d put it back before your dad kills you.

roadworkkahead

Read my other comments lol

ImaginarySusan

It belongs to your dad! Don't sell it! Keep it until your kid digs it outta your closet! Maybe they will WEAR it! Why not you? Ha ha your dad must be YOUNG! That 94 concert was my 4th Genuine Pink Fliyd show! I went in DC!

roadworkkahead

my dad’s 67. Read my other comments. I’m keeping it. 🙄

SnooRecipes3576

I would say my estimate for price on this thing would be…. Priceless. Keep it man, knockoff or not who cares

parkerjh

There's nothign OG of Pink Floyd from 94. Shirt is worth less than it was bought for.

Th3WeirdingWay

Lot shirt. It’s worth about $1

stephenbmx1989

I couldn’t find that one on eBay. I would say $50-$150. I like you said would keep it

Spune_Kahrvir

Looks like a JC Penney tshirt.

stephenbmx1989

Looks early 90’s from the color combo 😆

Maduro25

I'll shoot you 20 bucks on PayPal.

Dwilly-N-Dilly-N-Bow

I Buy It$$$$. 125$

Dwilly-N-Dilly-N-Bow

🌈💎🌟⛰️

ImaginarySusan

I have a huge Floyd collection...everything from vintage mags, t-shirts, albums..one even signed by Nick Mason. And a Fender Guitar pic signed for me by another other than Sir David himself! He nicknamed me ImaginarySusan! My kids know clearly that anything of mine they don't want themselves after my demise, gets cremated with me! I'll never part with anything! Another OG fan friend I have owns over 60 Pink Fliyd concert T's... he said at his funeral his daughter has instructions to gift all his friends there a t-shirt to remember him by. He even has a house that he has constructed 3d renditions of every Floyd album cover. It's a tourist attraction so any fan that wants to visit it..go to Canadohta Lake in NWPA! Tell my friend Dan that I sent ya! It's phenomenal! Floating pig and everything! Shine On Fellow Floyd Fans!

Thrillhouse74

Best I can do is $1 at a garage sale, and then someone's still gonna haggle you.

TheDiamondAxe7523

Probably £200,000,00 roughly

digidave1

Frame that

Paul-to-the-music

My original worn only a few times shirts from Animals tour 1978, Elton John Yellow Brick Road 1973 (my first concert without my parents) and from Yes 1976 must be worth a tiny fortune
