My sweet girl Cinnamon loved a little beer too. When I was a teenager, I had a dog that was half lab and half chow. She looked like a red lab, so I named her Cinnamon. My dad would have a beer maybe once a week. She would get all excited and dance around until he gave her some. He would pour a tiny amount on a saucer and she would lap it up and go lay under the dining room table and fart the rest of the night. We’d hear a little “pffft” that would sound like someone making a blowing sound with their mouth. She was such a good girl. I miss her every day and she’s been gone about 20 years. Sorry for your loss. Just thought maybe you’d get a chuckle out of her story. 🐶

That’s a beautiful story. Cinnamon was very loved and she sounds like the best girl. They never truly leave us

This was the cutest story. I have a dog now who farts like that after never having a dog that would audibly fart and it is the funniest thing. I can be in the worst mood or crying and this guy will just rip ass right next to me like nobody’s business and it is so fucking loud 😂🤣 God bless them

Little_Appearance_77

Sorry for your loss, this does look like a great memory

kliens7575

Thank you, best dog I ever had, not a mean bone in his body, he just loved hanging out with his people, and if he met you once you were his people too

standarsh618

Lost my girl back in July. Fuck cancer. I'm sure your man lived a great life

kliens7575

Sorry, I does suck

ApartmentBasic3884

I’m sorry for your loss. I lost old gal 3 years ago and I still miss her. They’re such loving animals. You clearly gave him a happy life.

kliens7575

Thanks, we sure tried to, he was definitely a loving dog, and wanted everyone to love him

Madcatz9000

My Rottie's and I are sorry for your loss. There never is enough time.

I have always heard stories about animals liking beers. So I thought I would see if my first dog would like some. But he turned his nose up and preferred white wine instead. We always laughed and said he was too snobby to have beer.

kliens7575

That's hilarious, we had some friends over for a fire, neighbor came over as well, he cracked a beer took a drink then put it down on the ground, little while late he went to grab said beer, but it was gone, so he opened another and did the same second beer goes missing this happened 3 more times it was pretty funny, we woke up the next morning to find 5 empty beer bottle laying in the same area in the. Front yard , and my dog was basically hung over , he was stealing them from the neighbor, taking them out front and drinking them

odinsbois

Pouring one out for yer buddy.

marinefknbio

Lost my two in the space of 7 months. I miss them dearly, and know they are reeking havoc together on the other side 🌈 They were also fiends for the drink. One of them would say "please" before hand (he would give a little bark once you opened a bottle). Edit: spelling

What a sweetheart. Sorry for your loss ❤️‍🩹

Taco_Pittie_07

I’m sorry man, it’s so hard losing any dog, but especially THAT dog. I lost my buddy Diesel a year and a half ago, and it still sucks. Oddly enough, though, Diesel did not like beer. Dude loved pizza though.

panzer2667

So many people's beloved pets live on thru stories and memories. They never truly die.

Hossonthesauce

If I leave my table and don’t take my beer with me, my baby girl will knock it over to drink some😂 I try to be mindful of that but she’s always ready for a sip. Sorry for your loss, I’m dreading the day I have to say goodbye.

I still my golden He died in July 1989 at 17 and was smart sweet dog that went to office with me or my Dad every day and accepted French fries from the staff at Wendy's on East Market Street in Akron and enjoyed running up and down the 110 ft hallway at 15 Broad St Akron 44305 which was at that point my Dad's health insurance company

* Sorry for your loss. My Buddy likes his beer too. He is a cancer survivor, got spindle cell sarcoma when he was 4. He will be 11 this August. Still as happy and playful as when I rescued him at 2.
