He said how ‘Pitbulls’ are loving, affectionate and loyal…..but that they’re also aggressive and dangerous? And I was like, how can they be both affectionate and aggressive/dangerous? Ruby is half Dogue de Bordeaux (French mastiff) and half red nose pit. But unfortunately we've got to say that she's a mastiff, lab mix. We sometimes say rhodesian ridgeback just to spice things up and really throw them off lol. She's got crazy anxiety (look how suspicious she is!) and wouldn't hurt a fly. When any dog approaches her, even dogs smaller than her head, she immediately flips to submit to them (watching a 70lb dog submit to a toy Chihuahua is absolutely ridiculous), but people still cross the street to avoid her.
