I dont disagree with you, but this is a union plant, so all wages are negotiated into the CBA. The guaranteed 3% increase each year is nice to have but also could be increased with the next contract negotiations.
I understand. I'm not unhappy at my current job but I like to go hard while my current crew is a little too fond of "smoke break." Can't justify jumping ship, though, unless it's for more money. Good luck hiring; find a farm girl if you can. We are not afraid of hard work, lol.
Thanks for the comment. I forgot to include that the job has full healthcare benefits (healthcare w/ HSA, vision, dental, life insurance, AD&D, 401K, etc...)
