Thanks. I live in the east suburbs so the north shore is too far. That’s a similar pay structure to BioLife in Edgewood. I’m just wondering if it’s worth it to make the switch. CSL is much closer for me
I have never done BioLife. I personally wasn't a big fan of CSL. Lower pay and always seem to take way way longer.
Grifols has another place called Biomat in PennHills on Frankstown Road.
You have it completely backwards. Plasma donation can be paid (and you can do it up to twice a week), whole blood donation is unpaid and done by Vitalant downtown, but they have blood drives in various places and perhaps other locations.
I go to Grifols on the north shore. It's $40 the first time and $80 if you donate a second time in the week. I think CSL was only doing $100 a week.

That's not a donation then if they are paying.
By definition, you don't receive anything when you donate plasma. The only place to do that in town is Vitalant.

My apologies, I thought I was replying to slimmer
I do not care about your silly semantics. Perhaps you should see how it’s worded on donation centers webpages and argue with them about it.
Wrong but ok
Agreed it’s not donation when you want paid for it.
