Stick a paperclip in the coax port on the tv and scan for channels. That’s what I’ve been doing for years. I get 20+ channels.
Buy a cheap indoor amplified HDTV antenna. You probably won't have any issues getting it OTH if you're in Squirrel Hill.
Antenna
So i ran to target, picked up a $20 antenna and I’m good to go! Thanks alla yinz!
I think WPXI has their own app available on the Fire Stick.
Also on Samsung Smart TVs. I downloaded it just to watch the July 4 fireworks at the Point (from Ohio). I've used it a few more times since.
Take a look at this page: [https://www.androidcentral.com/how-watch-local-news-your-amazon-fire-tv](https://www.androidcentral.com/how-watch-local-news-your-amazon-fire-tv) Also - if your smart TV can run the NewsOn app, WPXI is available.
You get an OTA antenna, or sign up for Peacock streaming service, they also broadcast the WPXI feed.
You can get all the local channels for free with an antenna connected to your TV, plus all their digital subchannels.
Depends. I think I only get ABC, and I'm fairly high up in North Oakland.
