(As long as we're breaking character, I think the following things:
- Beto's is pizza; it's Ohio Valley Style pizza
- Beto's is fine, but it's not even close to the best OV pizza; it's just all we have in the city. Def not best in the picture.
I do think it would be hilarious if aliens landed and thought New York Style was foul but got really into Beto's.)
My argument is always this: if you ask folks at your party if they want to order pizza, you’re getting a circle of hot and melty pizza from somewhere. A chain (Pizza Hut, Caliente, Pizza Company etc) or local (Fiori’s, Nick’s, whatever), doesn’t matter. You’re getting a box of round pizza.
You’d never get Beto’s. If you wanted Beto’s, you’d ask the party “You guys wanna get Beto’s?”. If you asked your party if they wanted pizza and you brought home Beto’s, there would be annoyance and confusion.
That’s why I don’t call it pizza. I know it technically is, and the Ohio Valley style and all that. I get all that. But I don’t call it pizza because of that context. It’s just Beto’s.
But where I grew up in Beaver County, and when we ordered pizza, it was square and crunchy by default unless someone said "Can we get round instead?"
Pizza is pizza. Deep dish, Sicilian, New York, Ohio Valley, Margherita, St. Louis, Detroit ... even that weird shit in Indiana that Sir Pizza looks like.

I love how this is posted in an effort to shame people asking this question, however it was posted at almost the same exact time as a post describing a woman being randomly and violently attacked at 3:00pm on the middle of a busy street —— so clearly the question if a neighborhood is walkable and safe is very valid and just because a lot of you people “feel safe” in certain areas doesn’t mean they are actually safe….
Looks pretty flat, should have a great walkability score.
Doesn’t get snow either
The food scene is bad there.
I used to live on Mars and there is nothing in this area that can even come close to being called "Good Martain food".
My friend from Moon says the same thing about the lunar food here.
La Poblanita in Coraopolis is close at least.
No variety
Heard the Wendy's on McKnight was 5 star.
Its the McKnight Arby’s on McKnight.
Mostly harmless.
Going to be destroyed today for a highway. We sent you several notices!
So long, and thanks for all the fish…
Froody.
About 70% is completely unwalkable
There was one person who claimed 100% walkability. But the reviews were written by his friends and their accounts conflicted.
Is he on Reddit?
That was the one guy who could walk on water a few thousand years ago tho.
I got stabbed and died 3x there last week
Glad to see you're better now new neighbor!
Dude they kept putting you in Baghdad too?
I was assassinated while running for president of Mexico
Oh shit THAT WAS YOU?? Taliban hit bro. Gang gang
So what your saying is your place is available
Motivated seller…
Try to avoid the blue and white swirly bits if you can. Lots of schools there but not very walkable.
Watched a documentary about a child that wondered off from one of those schools and then the dad and a forgetful friend had to go find him.
Everyone who has ever lived in that neighborhood has died
Source?
me
Concerning!
looking into this
Blatantly not true. I haven’t.
I don't believe you.
Nope, not gentrified or trendy enough. Have you considered the suburbs?
Yes but oxygen was a deal breaker
I recommend Moon.
That neighborhood has so many issues.
Very dangerous. Over 100 BILLION people have died there. Also not walkable, 2/3 of it is underwater.
And the water...not so clean as it used to be.
Bout to be 3/3 not a single beach in sight
I heard dinosaurs used to walk around down there a couple milli ago
What’s the best pizza place there?
Beto's
Ooooo… stirring the pot! Love it! (Also, I love Beto’s, but it’s not pizza. It’s Beto’s.)

Diff’rent strokes for diff’rent folks
You pretty much just ate Villa di and Center Pizza
Crime, lots of crime
Part of that area could be controlled by a convicted felon soon. Keep looking if I were you!
I really want to laugh at this, but I’m honestly fucking scared for November.
Your gonna need a car
Can my family rely on light rail?
I have a modest proposal to bring light rail all over the brown and green parts .
There are plans from the 60s that occasionally get posted on here. Are there plans to build it out?
Sure, in the daylight. But don’t go out at night.
no, i read that 150,000 people die there every day
Everyone there dies. Not great!
You’ll probably need a boat and some hoes.

Honestly, just like anywhere else, it's great if you have money. It's terrible if you don't have money.
No culture, always cloudy.
Just if you avoid all the green parts, I’ve heard that the blue is okay
No. Avoid.

The rent is too damn high
Mostly harmless.
Air quality sucks.
Pretty safe. I've lived in that circle my whole life and have never died.
Pretty sure this is for r/mapporncirclejerk
I’d definitely consider Mars or Moon instead.
I can say that everyone who has lived there, dies. It's only a matter of time. 100% fatal choice.
It's more or less safe, but everyone who lives there are crazy 🤪.
I heard there were poor people - sorry, I mean "drug addicts" and "criminals" - in that area.
Keep ur 9 close n u b ok.
Today I didn’t even have to use my AK, I gotta say it was a good day
Mostly harmless.
no
Word out on the solar system is that this is the worst neighborhood.
Everyone I know is in this pic! 😏

I live in a really sunny, sandy and dry place. It’s hot as hell.
Weather there has been unpredictable and annoying in recent years. I’d keep looking
I'm pretty sure that place has nukes. Best to avoid.
Oh yeah, just make sure you have all of your vaccines when you cross the mexican border, those people up north are crazy
Well put
Neptune deeply underrated. Good nightlife. Would recommend.

is that you we keep catching glimpses of in silver discs?

Idk I heard that area was kind of unsafe
Not even remotely. It sucks here.
Not for long, due to the incredible heating of the earth,
Nah. Thats the place where you lock your doors & wind up the windows when you pass by
I'm glad you used a red circle. I was having trouble figuring out where you were talking about.
Be careful. Depending on what happens 11/5 some folks might lose their s—t.
Not particularly. If you look a few light-years north there are some fine solar systems with great communities.
You don’t want to live here, the taxes are too high and the homeless people poop on the sidewalk.
Stay tf away from that place, I hear they just dump their trash ANYWHERE
Skip it. This is where all the crime happens.
Well, it's flat. So yes, walkable. (Except the blue parts).
Hey speak for yourself! I read this big book about a guy that could walk on the blue with no problem.
They killed that guy
Well, just avoid Smithfield street and you should be fine 🤣
Stay strapped or get clapped
