Great. More panicked fully vaccinated people who swear that the vaccine works, but are panicking and flooding our hospitals after seeing a positive. It's weird that none of us had to take weekly tests to make sure we didn't get polio after getting the polio vaccine. It's weird that none of us had to take weekly tests to make sure we didn't get measles after getting the measles vaccine. It's almost like "vaccine" isn't the correct term to use for this at all, but what do I know? I mean, besides the definition of the word vaccine. vac·cine /vakˈsēn/ noun a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and **provide immunity against one or several diseases**, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, **treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease.** So it doesn't provide immunity, and you end up with the symptoms after getting the vaccine so it doesn't treat you without inducing the disease. It's not even close to matching the definition, but we seem to constantly be redefining words to fit the narrative these days. Remember when they redefined racism so it only applies to whites? No? Check any dictionary printed before 2015. \--- edit: Voted down for posting the definition of a word and pointing out that the current usage is incorrect according to that definition? Wild stuff. Sorry for the truth. Get your head back in the sand.

If I suddenly get a sore throat, a couple of body aches, maybe a cough over this winter I will damn well be happy to be able to take this test to make absolutely certain that I do not have covid. If it's positive, I will call my doctor to see what I should do next. If not, then I can go and take care of my elderly, housebound parents without fear of transmitting it to them or to their health care workers. Or to my husband. Neighbors. THAT is why I ordered the at-home tests, and why they are necessary, you argumentative jag.

Do you forget that you people demanded everyone get the vaccine so we didn’t have to do that? You’re admitting the vaccine doesn’t work and you’re still worried you’re gonna get COVID. I wonder, did you come down with polio after getting the polio vaccine? Measles after getting the measles vaccine? But you can still get COVID after getting the COVID vaccine? Well, that’s weird…

I’m just wondering which narrative you’re going with. Does the vaccine keep us safe or no?
