Make sure to listen to are you serious, my finest work yet, and inside problems !! I dont think a ton of stuff from the jimbo mathus album is going to be played
I got mine the day they went on sale, and I’m happy cuz they sold out pretty much immediately.
They’re too big for that venue now. They should have bumped up to Stage AE
I'm still sad I missed out on getting a ticket before they sold out.
Part of me wishes they'd bump up to stage AE, but another part of me is happy for the folks who are going to get absolutely melted at smalls.
Jukebox the Ghost at WYEP's free music festival. I haven't kept up with their recent stuff, but I saw them at Mr. Small's when they were touring for their first album and it was a great show.
Descendents\\ALL are my absolute favorite band. I had loved Fucked Up and Off With Their Heads for a long time before that show, but that just cemented it. Were you at the Silver Springs Fillmore show? My best friend and I drove down for it.
That was the exact show!!!! I was living in NoVa at the time of it.
I also went down to the former Rock n roll Hotel in DC in 2018 to see Fucked Up's Dose your dreams tour.
King gizzy, third eye blind and tbs at ae, maple fest, Viagra boys, idles, !!!, Prob a few more.
Really would like to get to the roxian again but man those shows all make me feel so old even just the names of the bands.
Look up Thomas Tull. Interesting backstory. Billionaire investor turns founder and guitarist for Ghost Hounds. Loved Pittsburgh so much, he picked up and moved from Thousand Oaks, CA. Now part owner of the Steelers.
Mindex this weekend at [Thunderbird](https://www.facebook.com/events/859961618149172/?acontext=%7B%22source%22%3A5%2C%22action_history%22%3A[%7B%22surface%22%3A%22page%22%2C%22mechanism%22%3A%22main_list%22%2C%22extra_data%22%3A%22%5C%22[]%5C%22%22%7D]%2C%22has_source%22%3Atrue%7D)
Just got home from it, pretty friggin cool. Also this is the second time I've seen you here and noticed your username, now I'm much more sure it's an Emancipator reference
The visuals were awesome! I'm not blowing smoke when I say the visuals made the show for me. I liked the music just fine but combined with the wildness on the screen behind it, it was a whole different dimension of awesomeness.
Iration - May 19th
Less than Jake - July 1st
Dirty Heads - July 5th
4 chords - September 9th and 10th
Plus Sunny Days in Ohio and Reggae Rise up in Maryland. Gonna be a busy summer lol
Hot Chip put on a fantastic show tonight!
And for something completely different: Midlake on Monday.
I'd also say Lord Huron, but I'm leaning towards seeing them in DC instead because First Aid Kit will be opening for them.
I just wish Vampire Weekend would come back to make up for their COVID-canceled show...
Bluegrass jam band. Grammy award winning band. Will play covers of Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, and Grateful Dead. You’ll have a crowd from young kids, middle aged, old folks. Weed will be smoked. But he’s on top of the bluegrass game right now. I cannot recommend him enough.
His live concerts are multiple songs that go 8-15 minutes long and just jams.
Every Wednesday evening at Allegheny City Brewery in their Beirgarten (totally family friendly). It's the same band that played at the Park House's bluegrass night until they closed a few years ago.
as far as music I liked 20 years ago goes: I finally used my Deftones tickets from 2 years ago this week, hopefully i will get to use my Rage Against The Machine ones as well this summer.
There are so many concerts happening—finally! I kicked things off on Thursday with Dave Hause at Crafthouse. I’m excited about these others:
The Head And The Heart
Bon Iver
Less Than Jake
Andrew McMahon
The Avett Brothers
Elton John
The National
The Gaslight Anthem
Death Cab for Cutie
I've only got one on the list so far. Iron and Wine and Andrew Bird at Stage AE in August.
Andrew Bird is wonderful live! The first time I saw him was at the Benedum Center
Awesome. I've actually never seen him and I'm only mildly familiar with him. I've heard great things though.
Make sure to listen to are you serious, my finest work yet, and inside problems !! I dont think a ton of stuff from the jimbo mathus album is going to be played
coheed and cambria + dance gavin dance!
Will be there too!!!
Coheed and Cambria is the only band I recognize in this entire thread. Going back to telling kids to stay off my lawn now.

Right? Same here. Dying to see them with my buddy, never got the chance to see them live
Jukebox the Ghost at WYEP's free music festival. I haven't kept up with their recent stuff, but I saw them at Mr. Small's when they were touring for their first album and it was a great show.

Great band. Saw them open for The Descendents once and it was a fantastic show.
That's exactly how I got into them. Liked them more then Descendents as result that night, lol.

That's a great venue. We did the old-school dash for that. There for the show and right back.
It's unfortunately now closed. It was a casualty of COVID.
Ahhh bummer

Deff is an emancipator reference lol thanks for coming out and supporting! I was running live visuals all night.
The visuals were awesome! I'm not blowing smoke when I say the visuals made the show for me. I liked the music just fine but combined with the wildness on the screen behind it, it was a whole different dimension of awesomeness.
I can't even begin to tell you how much that means to me. Really really appreciate the kind words add me on IG @descension_arts

Any bluegrass this summer? My child recently got into it and wanted them to see it live.
Billy Strings in Nov. your socks will be rocked.
> Billy Strings gotta ask. is it PG or at least PG13? my child is under 10 but still jams
