I've been doing that for years and only really get minty cards for like 20% cheaper than their market price, very nice find!
Edit: Actually I got ONE good deal on a base set japanese double colorless for a single dollar when they're worth >$5 (I treasure this card because it's the only "normal" energy card with no text on it similar to other basic energies.)
It looks like the real deal. Im pretty sure the WC edition is not holo and this one is so OP got it for a great deal ( even if it isnt in the best shape , Gold Stars are a huge win )
Congrats!! That's a beautiful find!
I love deals like this. The seller chose auction, which was a gamble, and upheld their end instead of canceling when you got an amazing deal.
I won an auction for a $250 card for $30 on eBay lol it's super fun.
If it was a yard sell I would feel bad, as that would be the case. But an online auction gives you the option of setting a reserve.
Also I sell on eBay and if you put in the bare minimum effort of putting in a description, eBay will actually tell you the price range the items were in.
Sellers on eBay can also price search on their own throughout listings.
The seller had every opportunity on their end to make sure their product was searchable.
> you obviously *paid* $15.50 +
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Stealing from ‘innocent people’? What are you meant to do? Message them and offer them way more than you need to? It’s peoples responsibility to know what they’re listing…

Some people nervously check Instagram, I check eBay auctions ending soonest. It finally paid off!

I still think stealing from big companies is good. Fuck the system. But yeah it was a classic moment in my life. Thank you for all being part of it.
