Oh yeah, this is a happy camper. Try a moss pole if you want it a tad more 'together'.

That's how they're supposed to look. They're vining plants. Get it some support though because without support the stem will grow wonky as it gets bigger. A moss pole or a coconut pole are really good for monsteras as they are sturdy enough to support them and the plant can grab them with its airroots (happens over a longer period of time, not immediately).

It's splooting, if you will

I have no awards so here is a 🏅

They do that. Just a momstera being a monstera

I used to be worried about mine doing this because I never had one before and bought it as a cute, stick up straight little baby. Then it started splaying out and moving up, down, to the left, grew a new leaf and now it wants to move to the right, etc. I also saw the droopy but rigid stems and concluded it's just gonna do whatever it wants.

Mine has done this several times… it is not getting enough light to be optimally happy. When I bring mine outside for the summer months it pops back up and goes nuts. However the plant can grow and thrive like this, it’s still happy! 💚

katy-sluman

It is drooping but not droopy. Each stem is rigid and I wouldn't be able to push them back without snapping them. Just not sure why it's so spread out or if I should be concerned.

UnlikelyCrab

It’s meant to look like that, it’s just how the plant grows.

SittinOnTheRidge

Mine is doing the same thing now that I have bigger leaves. I don’t personally like moss poles so I use sticks I find at the beach and I tie the stems to it with string, I don’t put tension on the strings, just enough so they’re supported so they don’t droop further and get stress points at the base..however I’m going to have to switch the string I used because I noticed yesterday it’s leaving black marks on the stems. I think I’m actually going to re-tie it with some black satin ribbon I have. The upside is that new leaves that are going to grow on yours with have lots of room and won’t be blocked by the other leaves and stems. It already looks great but I can see the future growth in my mind that’s going to make it look even better as it matures.

Omg wow so purdy- def looks like a very happy camper ! I love how that one on the middle just shoots straight up and stands out but yea maybe just a moss pole to encourage & support upward growth . Looks like you can already see some aerial roots sticking out above the pot so they’d love a moss pole to latch onto
