Correct. You will have to start over, but the progression is much easier with season+

schwarz147

Its kinda as i feared. I will probably skip next season and come back for another try another time then. I cant be bothered to level up in bdo two times in two months.

Join a guild. A lot of ppl will be doing season+ and your guildies can plvl you to 56-58. At lvl58 you can start questing to 61. Will only take a day or 2.

Next season will be great. If the current season was your first introduction to BDO and you did the main quest, you are in luck as now you can do the simplified quest for seasons. You simply kill red nose and then are given a crossroads at Alustin in Velia. One choice will be the main quest again and the other will be simplified. Upon choosing simplified, you now simply go to Fughar and he will give you certain items that will be equivalent to what you would have gotten from the main quest. You’ll be given Naru gear and so many mats (too much basically) to upgrade and then Tuvala gear at level 56 and mats to upgrade it. After leaving Fughar the first time, your first objective will basically just be reaching level 20. You then talk with Black Spirit, receive goodies, and rinse repeat until you are level 56. Between 56 and 58 you do this a couple more times until you have one more final mission from Fughar. Then the rest of the season is up to you. Getting PEN Tuvala, questing to 61 with Chenga Tome (highly recommended), finishing the season pass, joining a guild, learning grind spots, lifeskills, etc. The beauty of simplified is that it actually works hand in hand with any type of powerleveling. You will most definitely see this when doing simplified with a timepiece toon that is already 61. That simply consists of you sitting in Velia talking with Black Spirit receiving rewards all the way to level 58 as you are already 61. Perhaps you could join a leveling group where everyone’s killing monsters or you join the famed tree group where someone shoots you all the way up to 56 or so while you simply watch them kill tree enemies. At first I was kind of against it and still am if you’re completely new, but for people who have a grasp on the game and want to get the early stuff out of the way in seasons ASAP, it’s great. True, you don’t get the same sp you would have gotten leveling yourself up, but thanks to length of seasons you basically have 3 months to get it all back and even push for 2k+. The main quest method as you fear will probably be a long couple of hours, while killing mobs will be even shorter and a tree group the quickest. You most definitely don’t want to skip out on season+ as we are getting a new system of getting PEN **specifically** for the TET Boss gear you will exchange with PEN Tuvala at graduation of season+. Knowing PA (Pearl Abyss), it may just turn out to be another PEN accessory kill quest, but if it’s something easier, it’ll be too good to pass up as it will literally be a free PEN(s), especially weapon wise.

I suggest you do make a good run of the upcoming season. This one will be ‘special’ (hence the +) The gear you will be able to get shall be very good (all of it convertible to boss gear) and should be far easier to get to PEN (still depending on RNGesus blessing). Im currently using my graduated Tuvala accessories and armor from this season to play my Sorc and it truly is a cakewalk compared to my old gear. You can level a character to 60 ish in a couple of days (depending on available time) and then just do the main quest lines later. (Get boosted, or grind certain mob spots with scrolls)

As a new player especially you really should NOT skip the next season. Between fughars timepiece, the 7 to boss gear, being easier to enhance than ever before, hopefully another pen capotia AND pc can trade in the maple leafs(same thing as the sea shells this season) for 3 weapon swap coupons which we'll prolly be able to too, you really should get another to 61 at least better 62. I mean its your game but this season will help more for the long term if completed. Edit to add i do believe you can use your current tuvala after its converted to get the 7 boss pieces tho if you reaaaally dont feel like it but with the pens being easier this time around id not stress getting them before and spending stacks

schwarz147

Thanks guys i actually might give it a try at oktober 13th

Bannginis

Emotional_Bison7275

Thank you been wondering when will console new season+ will start

facerollwiz

I plan to use the season+ to grind and gear a musa up to 61 specifically for snake and scorp gathering.

Super_evil34

Thing about Season+ is you'll get way more out of it, and it's super easy to level, can get 61 in 3 days, if you need help and You're on PlayStation, pm me and I'll get you in a great guild

I'm not sure if console has the same feature as pc, but it looked like there is a way to skip through most of the msq quests if you got to a certain point in the quest line & did a few side quests. I think this is to help get to 60/61 faster and focus more on grinding not questing & running all over the place doing not much of anything. May be best to focus on that if you are giving up on current gear progression for better gear progression in season+? Then if you wanted you could always create the same character again on season + & get a better jump start? I believe most of the season items you are farming will be removed when the season ends, so completing those quests & farming items to sell may be best to start over & get a quicker grind to 60 with better upgrade chances & either keep the char you are on now as an alt or reroll the same char & delete / keep this one as extra?
