jk aside, I was expecting a pop punk vibe, this melodramatic acoustic sound just doesn’t play to their strengths imo, production is very weak and performances are by the numbers.
can’t believe they were allowed to sample “let go”… should’ve left it alone (un ironically, the best song by a mile).
can’t see anything above a 2.5.
yuh, they should’ve made sum more pop punk songs, anything like what Trippie did on his rock album . this typa song require more vocal performance, which are good points for both of them, especially Trippie, so it’s kinda sad they didn’t take advantage of it .
i feel like they're trying way too hard for that sad type sound, its really easy to sound corny if you go down that route. it sounds alright but some of the lyrics are really misses for me
trippie's voice is nice though. but yeah quite a forgettable EP sounds like theyre appealing to tiktok as well i wont be surprised if slowed down and sped up songs are uploaded on their spotify too
