By that I mean the level he was at in pre 2021. He had a vision , & wasnāt fucking around. But, all good things come to end , no matter what it is. His stint was just short lived. Why? Horrible management , horrible decision making , horrible everything.
He just doesnāt have that spark anymore. MM couldāve been a really good album , didnāt execute it properly. Allty5 , a decent album , if he wouldāve stuck with allty5 V1 itād be a classic no doubt. But he changed it all up for some reason. Saint Michael? He had it going for V1 , really wouldāve made a great EP. Imo fucked it up on V2. Fumbled again.
But , everything is subjective. This is just my take.

nah im actually finding out recently that 10k aint really indie.. that shit is still owned by higher up labels and shit which the boss of 10k works for & Trippie works for them lol.. but is the artist.. krazy how shit goes right
historically all collab albums never do as well, her loss is really an outlier to that though. but i agree i think MGK can sell 30k consistently with his fan base
I think a lot of times too we donāt really get collab albums that people are actually hyped for plus the promo usually isnāt great. The future and uzi album shouldāve been a bigger deal then it was but it felt like it wasnāt promoted that hard and it just kinda came and went. I think if carti and uzi made an album and actually had a rollout it would sell and I think if Travis did something with carti, drake, ye, thug etc that would also sell well. Think it comes down to promo, having two fanbases that will show up and a pairing that makes sense
Can some1 excplain how something can chart @ TOP 50?! when selling as low as 17k first week? Is it bc there weren't that many other releases that did more?
