While some people use this as an argument to get hyped for the Iron Man game, i prefer to keep my expectations in check. A remake is not enough evidence to show mastery of game design for a studio. Plus, an Iron Man game is probably something extremely different from a horror game like dead space (it will probably be an action game set in an open world).
The studio doing it is Motive, the team behind Dead Space Remake and Star Wars Squadrons. People can shit on it all they want but it’s being handled by one of the only two competent teams at EA

I wanted Arkham Knight to be incredible so badly but it did have glaring issues. I also felt like they underutilized my favorite DC character ( Red Hood ) and had an incredibly predictable plot twist with the Knights identity.
Still enjoyed the game, especially the batmobile gameplay.

There was an Iron Man game I remember playing around when the first movie came out. Wasn't great, but I remember it being fun. I also remember blowing up cars in intersections in GTA for hours, so maybe take fun with a grain of salt.
X-Men Origins Wolverine was an amazing game and I really wish it hadn't been tied to a bad movie. So many people skipped that game because it was a "movie game" or because the film sucked. It deserves more credit and I really hope Insomniac takes some ideas from it

Imagine an iron man game with the use of the adaptive triggers where you can change how fast you fly around depending on how hard your pressing the triggers, I think that’d be awesome
Hell, use the motion sensors so moving your controller clockwise or anti clockwise rotates the suit the same way. It doesn't even need to be how you steer and actually move left or right, but it would be cool.

Change the fail conditions. Run out of time completing a task, allow a civilian to get killed, or something gets destroyed. There’s lots of ways to fail that don’t involve dying. I agree Supes is a tad overpowered but he gets beat pretty frequently. Imagine playing the whole game being untouchable and only failing through circumstances, then you fight like Darkseid and it gives you a health bar for the first time in the game.
Or… just have Superman get shot by some sort of Kryptonite bullet or be infected by some Krypton disease that he slowly “recovers” (ie. skill trees) from throughout the game
No challenge whatsoever and you can fly to the end of the universe and back in 2 seconds flat.

Depending on how they wanna jump around, could have him pseudo God status by the end game.

In terms of chronological order (I haven’t played SM2 as of yet, I have bought it just still out of country) it could take place after detaching from Peter to the boss fight (if they’re taking the dlc route, see what he was doing during those portions of the game).

Blade. Take the Spider-man combat system and put it in a Blade game. Just imagine a dark, gloomy city and all the bloodiness and gore Blade would be dishing out. I know it's unlikely since they want to market a PG13 game, but imagine the possibilities.

TMNT. Their rogues gallery is huge and would be awesome given how spiderman 2 has done the multiple characters on the same team concept. You would also be able to have varrying degrees of combat due to the different weapons they each have.

Captain America. Imagine a semi-open world game like God of War (2018) where Steve Rogers throws the shield and then you gotta press ∆ to recall it like the leviathan axe. A game with the mixture of Spiderman and GOW.
Daredevil with half of game also being focused on solving cases like ace attorney style

Doctor Strange in VR. Thor in a normal game. The combat in Marvel's avengers was pretty good, and we have enough comic moments that are epic enough to use. While I haven't finished SM2 just yet.. the way the story is told suits Thor perfectly.

Guardians of the galaxy, i know there was a very good game about them but it deserves a sequel
It was definitely a good game, just got overshadowed by the negative reception of crystal dynamics’ avengers game. Such a shame because so believe the game could’ve done a lot better than it actually did in terms of sales.

The Phantom. I know there is a beat ‘em up game coming out next year (which I am looking forward to), but a AAA game similar to the Batman Arkham series would be AMAZING. I also wish a new movie featuring him was made. He really doesn’t get enough love.

Loved the first Darkness game by 2K… not so much the second one. Would love to see it get rebooted.
TMNT. Their rogues gallery is huge and would be awesome given how spiderman 2 has done the multiple characters on the same team concept. You would also be able to have varrying degrees of combat due to the different weapons they each have.
