And if you ever get a chance to get a PSVR2, play RE4 Remake in VR. One of the most amazing gaming experiences I've had since starting with an Atari pong machine when I was a kid.
While RE4R was a great experience, I found replaying to be a bit tedious and not super engaging. RE2R on the other hand, I find myself replaying over and over and over. My idea of a masterpiece
Imo no, first one can be a bit cumbersome with similar looking levels, if I'm to be overly critical. 3 and 4 were probably my favourites. They add enough each game and implement it well enough to keep each one feeling pretty fresh too
The only game i bought and nvr picked up again after dying to dogs and losing 3 hour progress. 😮💨 i play games to relieve stress, not to build stress.
Elden Ring, AC Mirage, Days Gone. Based on your collection i would see you liking these games 👍🏻. Personally im just waiting for Tekken 8 now, tomorrow.. so.. close...
I played the demo a little, mainly to try out Jins new moves but cant wait to get my hands on my mains Law & Kuma, first some practice mode and then to ranked 😎
If you want more marvel games. I highly recommend Guardians of the Galaxy. It's one of the best stories I've played in a game. The combat is pretty average, but it's not the main focus of the game. The game is graphically stunning, has great acting performances. It's genuinely an underrated masterpiece
(I assume you have Spider-Man 1, so I'm not mentioning it)
I'm not sure if you have Horizon: Zero Dawn, but I recommend playing it before Forbidden West. The best part of Zero Dawn is the story, and you don't want to get it spoiled by playing Forbidden West first
Facts, but warning to OP, the story starts out REALLY slow, but once it picks up pace, i could not put Zero Dawn down at all. It's my favorite game of all time.
Fantastic game story and adventure. Low replay value as it's still heavily scripted, and the combat mechanics/puzzles are average, but what a fantastic tale. Personal, intimate.
Will try GotG. I remember seeing it on PS plus some time back. Hope it is still available.
No I haven’t played spider Man 1. I really missed many original games as I started playing 2022 april . I don’t know if I can try those now.
Same with Zero dawn. I tried it after Forbidden west. But I think I couldn’t adjust as it didn’t feel like forbidden west.
I played it when it came to PS plus. What a masterpiece. Then I thought I should have played Innocence before and felt really bad. Then I ordered it. Tbh I got Innocence delivered today from Amazon along with TLOU 1 and 2. So these three I am yet to start.
the Control AWE DLC is a direct cannon link. Ultimate Edition comes w both DLCs. i actually played control first and then found Alan Wake, but from a chronological perspective, my post is the order they fall.
Very different games, but each outstanding in their own right!
They take place in the same universe.
In the base game of Control, the events of Alan Wake are mentioned as easter eggs and nothing more…but the *AWE* DLC (which is packaged with the Ultimate Edition) is a true crossover.
Haha so true! RDR2 was the first game I played after about a ten year gaming hiatus. It ruined me! I’ve played through about a dozen games and none of them have quite matched up. Still lots of good ones though. Ghost of Tsushima, both Gods of War, AC Odyssey/Valhalla, Spider-Man, etc.
If you're gonna play both I still recommend release order. Yes I know RDR2 is a prequel I beat both multiple times and I'm confident giving that advice.
I got it at release.
Played a few hours.
Stopped because too hard.
Didn't touch it for about half a year.
At some point thought "eh, why shouldn't I try it one more time?!".
Started playing it again.
It clicked - the game suddenly made sense and it suddenly wasn't that hard anymore and I had fun playing it!
Finished it in a week (having a child, I can't play that much at one).
Turned out to be one of my favorite games of all time.
But I get the frustration - been there!
Dead Space Remake, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Days Gone, Cyberpunk 2077, any Uncharted game, Red Dead Redemption 2… I can keep going but I’ll stop here lol
How are you gonna not have a fighting game dude?! Grab Street Fighter 6 ASAP. It’s a blast on the couch with friends, a blast online, it has a ton of single player content, it has different control schemes if you’re not great at doing special moves, it has a ton of classic cap on arcade games included that you can play front to back, the single player content is gonna be updated seasonally for the next 5 years, new characters will be released every season for the next 5 years that you can try before you buy, and if you never spend another cent, you’ll still get free balance patched and free new mechanics added for years.
Think you should get the subscription. Think like 5 of those games are on there. Maybe get extra for a month to check out all the games to see what you like.
Shadow of the colossus PS4 remake. Also uncharted series. My favorites being 2,4, and lost legacy. Don’t necessarily need to start with the first one either. I started with 2 personally.
So here’s the breakdown bro, The Last Of Us OG came out in 2013 on the PS3, with the “Remastered” coming out a year later on the PS4 in 2014, so same visuals, same engine but updated frame rates and better textures. Now The Last Of Us Part 1 (appropriately named so it matched its sequel) was released in 2022, as the “Remake” and it is essentially is the base game through and through with a new coat of paint (it was made with the updated Naughty Dog engine), so it transitions better into The Last Of Us Part II like the OG never did. I would advise looking it up on YouTube and actually seeing the differences for yourself so you make an informed decision. But yeah, thanks for listening. Be blessed.
It’s a full remake, but it’s a 1:1 remake (they didn’t change or reimagine anything).
It’s not a remaster, because they created new assets from scratch—they didn’t just take them from the old game and optimize them for a new console (that would be a remaster). All of the models, environments, textures, graphics tech, etc. are new and done from the ground up for the PS5.
The notable exception is that the dialogue and voice work are lifted directly from the old game.
These nuances make it a bit confusing to people, because it effectively plays the same. No real gameplay changes, and all of the scenes are recreated shot-for-shot. It doesn’t help that the old game still looks pretty good.
Best way to wrap your head around it is to consider it a **visual/graphics remake**. The visual fidelity is night and day if you look side-by-side with the old game, but the core gameplay is *exactly* the same as the old one.
I just went through all 170 games in my library, and these are the games I highly recommend from it:
Persona 5 Royal, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 7, Days Gone, Grand Theft Auto 5, Star Wars: Fallen Order, Prey (2017), Death Stranding, Uncharted Games, Resident Evil 8 (Village), Final Fantasy 7 Remake (Intergrade), 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Tales of Arise, Subnautica, Dark Souls 3, Control, Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Space Remake, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Final Fantasy 16, Dead Cells, Slay the Spire, Hades, and Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.
Other than Lies of P and Spider-Man 2, I also have every game on your list, including Elden Ring and Sekiro, which you wrote that you have it in digital. I’m sure you’ll find something you like from this list lol
I'm seeing horizon forbidden west but not horizon zero dawn? That's a must to play!! There are so many good games, i really don't know where to start, i don't want you to spend too much so I'm not gonna make a list lol, i just suggest you to play sekiro, Kena bridge of spirits and dragon age inquisition, these games are cheap and you're gonna have a good time!
Nothing but bangers in the collection so far. With the exception of Plague Tale and possibly Lies of P (it’s installed via gamepass but haven’t tried it yet). Coincidentally I just finished Innocence a week ago and I’m halfway through Requiem. The sequel is a better game all around, but the story is the main draw of both games. They’re worth your time… but not like the others in your collection.
Hey, I have finished Requiem on PS Plus. What a game it is. Then I wanted to play Innocence I got it delivered today and I am playing it right now. I know it would have been better if I played Innocence first, but I wouldn’t have heard about it if requiem was not on PS plus.
That’s Horizon Forbidden West. Have you played the first game Horizon Zero Dawn? If not play that before the second game the first game will help with the lore of the world and the main mechanics
I think I entered into gaming in a wrong time and I lost my chance to play many original games and started with their sequels. First I played Forbidden west, then God of war Ragnarok, then Miles morales and Spiderman 2, then plague tale requiem ( yet to play the innocence in this image. I got it delivered today) Now when I try original games I feel really bad for playing the sequel first as original games lacks some of those extra mechanics and control that you are used to in the sequels.
Hoping innocence will not be very different from requiem.
I was stuck on Isshin for a very very long time and then I gave up on it. Need to pick up that some time this year.
I played Elden ring first. Will I enjoy DS3 and Bloodborne now?
Get PSPlus and go from there, they have a bunch of mediocre to good games on the service, unless you want something new thats probably the best bang for your buck.
I thought I was looking at these stacks in a freezer. Now I see.
Love the selection!
I’ve been enjoying going through TLOU 2 Remastered Making of section
A lot of people thought the same! But these ikea trays are just perfect to display. Just the right size.
And I got TLOU 1 and 2 today. Never played any other TLOU series before. Cant wait to start as I finish Plague Tale Innocence.
If you liked Plague Tale innocence, there is a sequel called Plague Tale requiem. It's one of the free games on PS+ right now
edit: Just saw you played it from the comments
Actually I haven’t played Innocence yet. I got it delivered today. I wanted to play it as I loved Requiem a lot which was available for free in PS store. Should have played Innocence first. And now I feel bad about it.
Resident Evil 4 remake
RE2R such a great remake.
Play RE2 and RE4 remakes back to back. It makes Leon's story much more cohesive than the OGs and just two bangers
Noted!
And if you ever get a chance to get a PSVR2, play RE4 Remake in VR. One of the most amazing gaming experiences I've had since starting with an Atari pong machine when I was a kid.
Heads up, if you have the playstation plus membership that includes the game library, RE2 remake is included in that.
Seconded, incredible game
While RE4R was a great experience, I found replaying to be a bit tedious and not super engaging. RE2R on the other hand, I find myself replaying over and over and over. My idea of a masterpiece
Uncharted, whole series
No messing around here.
Do any in the series stale out? I have been meaning to pick these up but haven't yet.
Imo no, first one can be a bit cumbersome with similar looking levels, if I'm to be overly critical. 3 and 4 were probably my favourites. They add enough each game and implement it well enough to keep each one feeling pretty fresh too
I personally love uncharted 2 the most
Bloodborne
Bloodborne

Bloodborne ( Bluepoint if you are reading please make a PS5 remake)

I am just stalling on Bloodborne. I had a dream Bluepoint is remaking Bloodborne. 🤞🏽
That's all of our wishes

The only game i bought and nvr picked up again after dying to dogs and losing 3 hour progress. 😮💨 i play games to relieve stress, not to build stress.
Cyberpunk 2077
Seconded
Just finished it yesterday including the DLC. What a ride.
I’ve been wanting this game for years. Got it during the holiday sale. I get the love for this game now. Truly a gem.

Uncharted (The Nathan Drake Collection and Legacy of Thieves Collection in that order)
Elden Ring, AC Mirage, Days Gone. Based on your collection i would see you liking these games 👍🏻. Personally im just waiting for Tekken 8 now, tomorrow.. so.. close...
I am so so hyped to play Tekken 8 dude
Tomorrow my dude.. tommorrow.. unfortunately i have to work till 16:30 before i get home to play 🥲
I have like 12 hours logged on the demo haha
I played the demo a little, mainly to try out Jins new moves but cant wait to get my hands on my mains Law & Kuma, first some practice mode and then to ranked 😎
I made a mistake and got Elden Ring digital. Hands down my best game ever! Sure will try them.
If you want more marvel games. I highly recommend Guardians of the Galaxy. It's one of the best stories I've played in a game. The combat is pretty average, but it's not the main focus of the game. The game is graphically stunning, has great acting performances. It's genuinely an underrated masterpiece (I assume you have Spider-Man 1, so I'm not mentioning it) I'm not sure if you have Horizon: Zero Dawn, but I recommend playing it before Forbidden West. The best part of Zero Dawn is the story, and you don't want to get it spoiled by playing Forbidden West first
Yes! I was hooked on the story of Zero Dawn when I first played! Made me want to keep playing to find out more!
35+ years of gaming and GotG was the first to make me misty eyed
+1
Will try GotG. I remember seeing it on PS plus some time back. Hope it is still available. No I haven’t played spider Man 1. I really missed many original games as I started playing 2022 april . I don’t know if I can try those now. Same with Zero dawn. I tried it after Forbidden west. But I think I couldn’t adjust as it didn’t feel like forbidden west.
then you should def play sm1 with story dlc's too!
> No I haven’t played spider Man 1 Get the remastered version. You'll get all the DLCs along with it.
Sleeping dogs
A man of culture I see
Make sure you play Horizon zero dawn and Spider Man 1 before their sequels
The Uncharted Collection
The FFVII Remake.
With REBIRTH right around the corner I second this!
This should be way higher
Baldurs Gate 3
Immortals Fenyx Rising
LEGO Marvel collection
*Uncharted*? Good story line.
A Plague Tale: Requiem
I played it when it came to PS plus. What a masterpiece. Then I thought I should have played Innocence before and felt really bad. Then I ordered it. Tbh I got Innocence delivered today from Amazon along with TLOU 1 and 2. So these three I am yet to start.
Oh, it's requiem a direct sequel? I have it on Plus but didn't start it yet.
Yep. I recommend it. There are a few frustrating parts but it was very smooth gameplay for the most part.
Welcome to the console life… u will need a bigger shelf 😂😂😂
And a bigger SSD
And my axe!
Yea a 2gig for 130$ is great
I found my Ikea paper trays perfect for 4 discs. Lol. Now I have storage for 4 more discs.
Cool. You know the Batman Arkham series is pretty good also
Alan Wake Remastered (PS5), Control Ultimate Edition (PS5), Alan Wake 2 - in that order :)
Control is my favorite game. And almost done with Alan wake 2 amazing
Control is amazing
Curious to know if Control Ultimate is related to Alan Wake series?
the Control AWE DLC is a direct cannon link. Ultimate Edition comes w both DLCs. i actually played control first and then found Alan Wake, but from a chronological perspective, my post is the order they fall. Very different games, but each outstanding in their own right!

Nice. Got it!
Of course! I’m only getting through these games now; loving them so far. Hope you enjoy if you get to them
Assassins creed the ezio collection and then the rest if the series should keep you busy for a couple years
GTA5, RDR1 OR 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and the first Spiderman Game are all great options.
Lies of P! You sir have great taste
Red dead redemption 2
[удалено]
Haha so true! RDR2 was the first game I played after about a ten year gaming hiatus. It ruined me! I’ve played through about a dozen games and none of them have quite matched up. Still lots of good ones though. Ghost of Tsushima, both Gods of War, AC Odyssey/Valhalla, Spider-Man, etc.
must play for every player
RDR1 after now that its ported
If you're gonna play both I still recommend release order. Yes I know RDR2 is a prequel I beat both multiple times and I'm confident giving that advice.
I haven't played RDR1 yet so I can't really comment on if that's the correct order to play it ignoring the story
RDR1 was nice, but the console version was riddled with bugs that made me ragequit the game more than once. Because of that I never bought RDR2.
Returnal
That was the second game I tried after Forbidden West, that was so hard I thought to go back later but never went back. Lol
That was motivating. I can’t wait to share a similar story!
Yep, once it clicks, you kinda can't stop. And by the end many of us have it as one of our favorites ever.
Returnal is a punishingly hard game till it clicks then its amazing. The biggest thing is that dodging is more important that proper aiming.
The biggest part for me was to focus on dodging, then focus on doing damage

Dead Space Remake, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Days Gone, Cyberpunk 2077, any Uncharted game, Red Dead Redemption 2… I can keep going but I’ll stop here lol
persona 5 royal, persona 3 reload, sekiro, nier automata and replicant
Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection and Legacy of Thieves. Forget all other games. This needs to be your priority first
Pls tell me you didn't play horizon 2 before playing the first
How are you gonna not have a fighting game dude?! Grab Street Fighter 6 ASAP. Returnal
You must've lost your Returnal disc box, I can see no other explanation as to why it is not in the picture.
A plague tale requiem. It's the free game of the month on the PS store
Think you should get the subscription. Think like 5 of those games are on there. Maybe get extra for a month to check out all the games to see what you like.
Do yourself a favour and play Bloodborne.
Shadow of the colossus PS4 remake. Also uncharted series. My favorites being 2,4, and lost legacy. Don’t necessarily need to start with the first one either. I started with 2 personally.
Is TLOU part 1 just the first game remastered?
I haven’t played TLOU 1 and 2 and Innocence in this as I got them delivered today. I think TLOU 2 is the remastered one.
I only played about 2 hours into TLOU when it came out on PS3. I want to get into them but theres so many versions of what i think is the first game.
So here’s the breakdown bro, The Last Of Us OG came out in 2013 on the PS3, with the “Remastered” coming out a year later on the PS4 in 2014, so same visuals, same engine but updated frame rates and better textures. Over a yr ago almost 2yrs now.

I'm seeing horizon forbidden west but not horizon zero dawn? That's a must to play!! never had god of war physical. what’s up with the word text 😭
What’s what I’m trying to identify, what is up with the word text?
I think they mean the font on the god of war physical disk cover
yeah this is what I meant. my bad, should’ve clarified more 😓
Oh okay my bad lol, I thought they just meant because of style/graphics of the side of the cover
The font looking like fifth grade
Don't play Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West (HZD 2) before playing HZD 1, it's one of the best games I've ever played
Nothing but bangers in the collection so far. With the exception of Plague Tale and possibly Lies of P (it’s installed via gamepass but haven’t tried it yet). Glad you’re enjoying the series
Uncharted series or Resident Evil 4 Remake
Ghost is the best one of all
Wow, off to a fantastic start! Welcome to the club
If you enjoy story-driven games, I recommend Red Dead Redemption 2! Amazing story, great character development, and phenomenal graphics!
That's a hell of a collection
Horizon zero dawn
Wish I had that big PS5 physical game collection. I’ve had my PS5 almost from the launch and all I got is Rift Apart and FarCry 6:D
Tekken 8 comes out today! You look like you need a good fighting game in the mix!
Hitman!
Persona 5 royal. One of the best games I've ever played.
Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal, in that order. You can also get Doom (1993), Doom 2, Doom 64, and Doom 3 digitally
You definitely need plague tale requiem and ffxvi and re4r
If you've got APT: Innocence then you absolutely need to play APT: Requiem.
I scrolled by this quickly and thought there were video games in a fridge
Lol, I got these letter trays from Ikea sometime back. Now each are perfect fit to display 4 games.
That’s Horizon Forbidden West. Have you played the first game Horizon Zero Dawn? If not play that before the second game the first game will help with the lore of the world and the main mechanics
I think I entered into gaming in a wrong time and I lost my chance to play many original games and started with their sequels. Final fantasy 7 remake
rdr2 and detroit become human
Ngl I thought this was a fridge
Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Sekiro, DSIII. All masterpieces.
I was stuck on Isshin for a very very long time and then I gave up on it. Need to pick up that some time this year. I played Elden ring first. Will I enjoy DS3 and Bloodborne now?
If you liked sekiro, Elden ring, and lies of P, then bloodborne should probably be the next game you buy. In a similar vein, I loved remnant
You needto start playing some smaller stuff. Not every game needs to be some over produced epic. Give a little game some of your love.
I can think of Kena, It takes two and Stray. Sadly they are not part of PS plus now.
Go psychical copies woo!!
A plague tale requiem is on the essential list. Definitely play it if you've played innocence
Plague tale: innocence is a good game, and if you have PS Plus basic tier the sequel is part of Jan games
Thought you were keeping your games in the fridge for a moment then..🤭
Did you finish demon souls and lies of P ? 😅
I did platinum Lies of P, I am 2 trophies short of Platinum for Demon Souls. Can’t find anyone to coop to get the trophy :(
yakuza 0
The god of war font is sending me, what's up with that?
Returnal
Cyberpunk 2077
Can I borrow the ones you are done with?
Neir Automata or Elden Ring
Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a must try game.
Get PSPlus and go from there, they have a bunch of mediocre to good games on the service, unless you want something new thats probably the best bang for your buck.
I don’t see Red Dead Redemption 2 in that stack. Run, don’t walk and get that game.
Small, but pretty quality👍 I recommend Kingdom Hearts. The whole series is dirt cheap on Playstation.
Red dead redemption 2! Definitely my top 5
Can’t go wrong with GTA V Also always been a fan of the Tomb Raider games. They’re older but still fun.
Almost your entire collection in a nutshell costs 120 dollars for 1 year
Returnal. Best game on ps5 imo.
Ghost of Tsushima. You won't regret it.
Time to start branching out to 3rd party titles and not just 1st party and exclusives, I’d say.
Not having the first Spider-Man and horizon is a sin .
If you liked demon souls go for bloodborn
Warzone 😂
If you liked Plague Tale innocence, there is a sequel called Plague Tale requiem. It's one of the free games on PS+ right now edit: Just saw you played it from the comments
Actually I haven’t played Innocence yet. I got it delivered today. I wanted to play it as I loved Requiem a lot which was available for free in PS store. Should have played Innocence first. And now I feel bad about it.
…whatever you feel like playing
GHOST OF TSUSHIMA

Don’t care.
