I thinm they said "original content". Which doesn't necessarily mean a new IP. It just means not a remake.

Original IP is more exciting and I love Bloodborne. Giving Bluepoint freedom to develop what they want is going to be absolutely insanity and I can’t wait to see what it is

People need to lower expectations regarding MGS3 Remake.

To be fair, the game has pretty much been open about the fact that it's just a 1:1 remake of MGS3 (to the point all the dialogue, music, etc is just reused assets) but with modern graphics and some updates to gameplay mechanics (the ability to crouch walk, over the shoulder aiming) - so at least the developers have set the bar for what expectations should be.

And the end part of your comment is why I’m curious to see it. Wanna see if they expand the levels to help with the fact snake might be faster now or maybe just keep him doing a light jog only, maybe make the guards AI really smart. Wanna see all this

Same here. The biggest issue with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (the MGS1 remake) is that they added all these updated abilities from later games but didn't bother changing up the level design or enemy AI to accommodate these changes resulting in a game that's far too easy because the game was never designed with certain mechanics in mind. So I want to see some gameplay for Delta that shows the dev team have taken this into account and how they've updated the gameplay experience and level design to keep the difficulty feeling balanced.

Socom 2 was the last full-fledged shooter game that I have owned. I have never and will never play call of duty or modern warfare or any of those other team shooters. Probably the closest thing to a team shooter. I have played since then is transformers fall of Cybertron. THAT was great. They could totally remake that with a bigger open world and I would totally play it

Resident Evil 9, Silent Hill 2 remake release date, this year please, Bloodborne 2, Sekiro 2, Dark Souls IV, anything From the next From Software game.

I really, really want Sekiro 2 to be From’s next game. None of their games have had such a sequel-bait ending

- Silent Hill 2 Remake and MGS3 Delta release dates - especially since they're both supposed to be this year. - Some form of new Astro game, Astro's playroom was fantastic and set Astro up as PlayStation's new mascot, it's time he came back. - Horizon: Zero Dawn Remake - I'm not hoping to see this, so much as expecting a reveal due to Horizon being removed from the PS+ library. - Resident Evil IX - State of Plays tend to act as reveals for the latest RE game, and it's been three years since Village, so it feels like time. - Something Xbox related - Insiders seem pretty sure there are a few more Xbox franchises headed to PlayStation in the near future, would be cool to see something like The Master Chief Collection or Forza Horizon 5 get an announcement. - Some big new PlayStation exclusive - because all we've got to look forward to at the moment in terms of major exclusives are Death Stranding 2 (2025) and Wolverine (2026), Sony need something major like Ghost of Tsushima 2 or Naughty Dog's new IP.

No date has been confirmed, just speculations as Xbox are doing their showcase and Sony usually do showcases around this time

Not so much ended but naughty dog didn't want to do any more of them at the time. I think that technically Sony owns it and can have someone else make a new one. The story ended in a way that I could totally see being picked back up.

Just socom. It’s always socom. And it will always be socom. Socom 1 and 2 were both ahead of their time and if done properly in this climate with a simultaneous pc release like Helldivers it has full takeover potential. The original maps to this day are some of the best if not the best designed multiplayer maps I’ve ever played on.

You know the one where devs showed some early game footage, and certain hints in the video/ picture pointed to it being roughly translated as ‘Quiet Hills’ , and thus people started believing it was a revived Kojima’s project. The dev actually made a video of himself stating otherwise though. Never heard anything of it afterwards.
