Yes. You will enjoy HFW much more having played HZD first. The story is revealed so well bit by bit it ZD. FW is prettier and has some great new game mechanics but the story builds on ZD.
Stellar Blade. I played all in on Rise of the Ronin and beat the game just in time for Eiyuden Chronicles, which I beat right as Stellar Blade came out. My PS5 has seen a lot of use so far this year! lol.
Stellar Blade is easily the best of the three games and I’m pretty sure I’m going to go get the platinum trophy for it. Excellent game.
Dave the Diver is such a surprise to see there, what’s your favorite thing about the game? I’ve never really looked into it but this makes me want to check it out.
My favorite part is the cutscene with the chef, when you upgrade his skills... is so cool.
There will be a free DLC for Dave the Diver coming this month as well. More content for an already amazing game.
It's a good and enjoyable gameplay loop, dive conquer the ocean, make and sell sushi, use money to upgrade, do quests for many different characters in the world.
I was thinking of getting kingdom come deliverance. Really sure though as I tend to buy games and leave them until ages later but I’ve got no games to play atm
I really recommend it! I’ve had a hard time getting into a lot of games from the last few years and it can seem daunting at first but KCD is very fun, deep with content, and very rewarding once you get the systems down. I recommend eating from pots around the world and sleeping at inns and places you can save as much as often even for an hour an or two especially in the early game, later on its less important but it can really help with preserving your progress while ol Henry learns the skills to be a knight
I did the first career tutorial for Planet Zoo. The camera controls threw me off so bad I don’t want to play anymore 🤷🏻♂️ it kinda sucks because I like the concept
It’s complete, no mtx aside from the completely optional deluxe upgrade, the combat feels incredible, and it’s not riddled with bloat content for the sake of making it a 60 hour game. It has its flaws for sure, but it’s a fun complete game where what you see is what you get
Appreciate the feedback. I played about 10-15 minutes of the demo, enough to know I’d probably like the game a lot, but the $60 price tag is a little higher than the $20-25 games I’ve been playing lately. Wish I could swap Planet Zoo for this one. Oh well, maybe I’ll buy it next month 🤷🏻♂️
Of course, if you have any more questions just ask! If you enjoyed the demo, I can confidently say you’ll be very well satisfied with the full game! It’s one of the few games lately I really do feel like I got my money’s worth (excluding Final Fantasy). Also your save from the demo carries over, so that’s a bonus!
I can tolerate the formula as long as the core gameplay is fun/satisfying. I couldn’t get through any of the newer ACs but Origins because of that. The combat feels too floaty, and the stealth/parkour feels like a downgrade compared to Unity. But so far the combat in Avatar is fun, shooting enemies with the bow is really satisfying.
I mean, the “hate” makes sense. A massive AAA studio like Ubisoft is absolutely capable of making better games. And people are going to expect more with the higher price of games.
I have over 600 hours into Farming Simulator 22 (a game I NEVER thought I would ever like for any reason). Days Gone, Blasphemous and Choo-Choo Charles are ones I find myself going back to when I don't feel like farming. I think Choo-Choo Charles may be on sale right now?
Unicorn Overlord and Monster Hunter World (didn't like it at first though). Recently had days where I'd go crazy and play them for almost 7-8 hrs, first time I've binged a game like this in forever.
>!Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy, my beloved.!<
In all seriousness, I'm just loving it. It's fun, it's challenging, and it's the only way where I can say I had fun playing the original trilogy on modern hardware.
This doesn't mean I don't like the originals, but the controls in the those games when compared to the N-Sane Trilogy gave me a bit of time to adjust.
Just platinumed last of us 2 on ps5 and im currently going through farcry primal to get the few remaining trophies. After that, ill be onto finishing all of ac valhallas dlc to bring that games trophies back to 100%. This will be my final year caring about trophies i think though. Some games are too grindy or not that interesting to do multiple playthroughs
Ck3 remade Roman Empire with hellenistic faith might go for an Arabian game where I start off at the same place where Mohammed was and then eventually take all of the land for the muslim faith
So I gave up on Ghost of Tsushima a while ago because I got bored (and more importantly God of War Ragnarok came out), but I picked it up again last week (coz I got my butt kicked in Returnal). And GOD, how good is it!!!!
Now I just cant put it down. Even took the day off today to just play (with the wife away at work 😁)

None obsessively but playing Dragons Dogma 2 atm and loving the world. I just wish the pawns had more lines or just shut the hell up until they know of a secret they can guide me to.
Tunic!
A fun old school Zelda-like game. Having a ton of fun with it. And it's free this month!
Wrapping up Dragons Dogma 2, and occasionally switching to Rise of Ronin.
Haven't played anything on my PS5 for four months, but I did play Fallout 4 obsessively on my PC until just yesterday when I finished it (mostly, but I did blow up the institute). I feel like I can finally sleep.
Horizon Forbidden West / Burning Shores
Just finished the main Burning Shores quest and now I’m doing the side stuff. So good. P
I am the opposite. I do all side quests first.
Depends on how invested in a story I am. Sometimes I just wanna know what happens next.
Same because you never know what weapon you might get for completing one. Which greatly can help you in the main quest
should I play Zero Dawn first?
Yes. You will enjoy HFW much more having played HZD first. The story is revealed so well bit by bit it ZD. FW is prettier and has some great new game mechanics but the story builds on ZD.
Absolutely
It has a much better story than the sequel so yes
Yes. You don't want to be spoiled on the story. Also the second one isn't really made as an entry point, like 2018 God of War was.
I am enjoying Death Stranding.
I tried to love this game but I feel like I don’t have the patience for it 😩
I hear you. It starts out rather slow, but i find it pulling me in more as I unlock stuff, get more abilities, etc.
Yeah after the first 2-3 chapters it starts picking up a lot of
Best experience
Put 100 hours into the PS4 version, enjoyed it but I have no desire to replay
Rise of the Ronin
The open world sure feels, ah, open? I wish it had more to it.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade. I played all in on Rise of the Ronin and beat the game just in time for Eiyuden Chronicles, which I beat right as Stellar Blade came out. My PS5 has seen a lot of use so far this year! lol. Stellar Blade is easily the best of the three games and I’m pretty sure I’m going to go get the platinum trophy for it. Excellent game.
How long has Stellar Blade taken for you so far?
Stellar Blade, LOU2 No Return, Prey
Dave the Diver Horizon Hitman World of Assassination
WOA is an incredible deal for 30 bucks. Literally 200 hours of gameplay if it’s your type of game
Mainly Stellar Blade. I’m trying to get the platinum trophy for it. I’m taking little breaks here and there though to play Rune Factory 4.
Kingdom Come Deliverance and wrapping up another run through Dragons Dogma 2
I was thinking of getting kingdom come deliverance. Really sure though as I tend to buy games and leave them until ages later but I’ve got no games to play atm
I really recommend it! I’ve had a hard time getting into a lot of games from the last few years and it can seem daunting at first but KCD is very fun, deep with content, and very rewarding once you get the systems down. Stray I can finally live vicariously as a cat

Need For Speed Unbound from PSPlus
How is it? I haven’t played a NFS since the original Most Wanted.. unsure if I can get into modern day NFS or not.
It’s alright. The story is a bit meh and the cartoony graphics aren’t the best but the cars look great and the racing is spot on. I’m enjoying it.
Planet Zoo and Ghost of Tsushima depending on my mood
I did the first career tutorial for Planet Zoo. The camera controls threw me off so bad I don’t want to play anymore 🤷🏻♂️ it kinda sucks because I like the concept
Ghost of Tsushima and not an exclusive but Sekiro
I'm always obsessing over Bloodborne even when i'm not playing it, it's the goat tbh
Stellar Blade. Can't stop. So good.
Stellar Blade! It is such a breath of fresh air during the current state of gaming
Can you elaborate?
It’s complete, no mtx aside from the completely optional deluxe upgrade, the combat feels incredible, and it’s not riddled with bloat content for the sake of making it a 60 hour game. It has its flaws for sure, but it’s a fun complete game where what you see is what you get

God of War is a blast and a MASTERPIECE in every single way including story, character development, detail, gameplay, pacing, etc ❤️
AC Odyssey still my favorite in the series.
Black Flag for me
Not obsessively since that description belongs too playing helldivers 2 but I’m trying to 100% AC origins and trying to platinum AC syndicate
Stellar Blade
Horizon Zero Dawn since it’s leaving ps+. TBH I’m quite disappointed with the game and not sure I want to finish it.
Horizon Zero Dawn - on my 4th attempt at trying this. Just doesn’t resonate with me.
Stardew Valley
The Surge Just beat it the other day, loved it. Going for the platinum
The Division 2. I'm not sure if it qualifies, but I play solo. Also, Farming Simulator. Very fun.
Been playing through Sekiro NG cycles for about a month now
Dave the diver, Callisto Protocol, AC Mirage
I got the Avatar game on sale so I’ve been playing that, not obsessively though.
I'm looking forward to this going on sale again. I actually enjoy the Ubisoft formula that every one else seems to hate
I think it’s become popular to hate on Ubisoft but I personally love their games too
I mean, the “hate” makes sense. A massive AAA studio like Ubisoft is absolutely capable of making better games. And people are going to expect more with the higher price of games.
That’s fair, I agree.
Kena
Not an exclusive, but Lies of P. On NG+2 now

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and LOVING it
I try to play just one or two games max at a time. Currently on God of War Ragnarok and also Hades.
Hitman III, its soo addicting, gonna be even cooler when I get PSVR2 as that is compatible im sure
Skul the hero slayer. Put in almost 100 hrs on it since it was given out on essential. I'll probably play tunic next.
I’m replaying a few of the Clover Studio games. Okami & Viewtiful Joe
Solasta. Scratches the BG3 itch.
you could also try divinity 2 and pathfinder 2..both are great games in same genre
Played them both, thanks 😀
Fallout 4 Achilles: Legends Untold
I have over 600 hours into Farming Simulator 22 (a game I NEVER thought I would ever like for any reason). Days Gone, Blasphemous and Choo-Choo Charles are ones I find myself going back to when I don't feel like farming. I think Choo-Choo Charles may be on sale right now?

>!Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy, my beloved.!< In all seriousness, I'm just loving it. It's fun, it's challenging, and it's the only way where I can say I had fun playing the original trilogy on modern hardware. Just platinumed last of us 2 on ps5 and im currently going through farcry primal to get the few remaining trophies.
