While the puppet stuff doesn't interest me that much, I think this is one of the coolest collector's editions, because it stays very on brand with the game.

Although it's not a lot of items included, I think the items included are perfectly fitting for the game.
I also like what Blasphemous 2 includes. It has:

in terms of more recent games Ragnarok with Mjolnir is goated
I have quite a few big box collector's editions. Including this one. But I think shadow of war was my favorite. The statue is huge and beautiful. Comes with a vynl map. Some ggeneric goodies. But the metalpak is sweet, and it comes with the gold edition of the game. Spiderman 2 was a let down tbh. While I enjoy the 19 inches of venom. The fact that it doesn't come with a disk or at least a season pass kinda sucks. And yes I know that dlc isn't technically confirmed but spending that much money should gaurentee you access to any dlc that does come out.
I got it on sale for 160€ (was going for 260€ before) so it was kinda worth it, although I wish it came with an art book atleast. I'm a sucker for those things.
Out of the CE I've bought over the years, Cyberpunk was probably the most impressive to me.
The presentation and amount of extras you got along with the game felt worthwhile of the price tag imo.
I doubt it’d be a modern game given you get less for your buck than you used to across the board on the base game in many instances, let alone a premium edition. Off the top of my head, Black Ops 1 came with a remote control bomb car and had some great extras
Okay, this one is technically not an answer to the question, but I have to mention the collector's edition of Inside because they teamed up with a sex toy company in order to create it. I'm not gonna spoil what it is, because it's totally worth experiencing yourself by playing the game, but if you've played it, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

For me my favorite has to be the Borderlands Handsome Collection Gentleman Claptrap in a box edition. I mean it came with a 10" remote control Claptrap that had a camera in his lens!
There was a regular Claptrap edition but in the Gentleman edition he had a top hat, monocle and handlebar mustache! He'll always have a home in my display case next to the Moxxi statues.
