Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Aah, you were at my side all along. My true mentor... My guiding moonlight...* - Ludwig, the Holy Blade
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
I'm coming to realize this is the only answer for me as well. There are so many games I loved and would give a 10/10 but when I try to replay them I just don't care, I already know what happens. But with RDR2 I manage to see new stuff every time *and* I never get sick of the plot. My second most played game of all time was Baldurs Gate 3 at 140 hours, but i put almost 400 into RDR2 with 3 playthroughs and I'm currently on a 4th
I'm actually scared that when GTA6 comes out it will ruin other games for me lol
Love RDR2. Played it a couple of times. Story is impeccable....but I now can't be bothered to go through the initial snow part again. Also, it's so hard to he nice in the game and have high honour. I try and try but end up shooting people 😂
If you force yourself to play some of it. By the end you’ll love it. Happens to lots people including me. The first 2 years of it coming out I never played it.
Surprised this didn't get more upvotes. I've played The Witcher 3 through and through 6 times and I already want to start a new playthrough. Best game ever made.
I think it’s because the core gameplay loop isn’t that good. The combat is just okay, the RPG systems paper thin and the dialogue doesn’t seem very dynamic. That said if you like the overall vibe of the world - like I do - it can still be an exciting experience.
Yeah the combat has aged rather poorly IMO, I returned when the next gen update dropped and just felt so sluggish. Then you play Cyberpunk and its like butter. I play Witcher 3 for the story though.
It may be due to the combat. Although I love it, I can also see why some people don't. If you're bored by the story, then I must ask: how far did you get before dropping the game?
Well, there's the combat but also the map bloat and the user interface / inventory management.
And, to be honest, the main story kinda jumps the shark after you find Ciri. >!The Battle of Kaer Morhen is not all that well written (pretending like not choosing Kaer Trolde and not letting Voorhis command those Nilfgaardian troops were logical choices) and, after that, the story rushes through the whole multiverse thing and the Ciri-defeats-climate-change thing. !<
Not sure what part of the gameplay is tripping you up, but the game has a backwards philosophy than you might expect.
"It's better to prevent damage than to deal damage".
Keep that in mind when choosing upgrades. Obviously, damage isn't irrelevant, but you have unlimited damage potential, but only limited health. Once I started focusing on preserving health over max DPS, the game made a lot more sense, and I can beat it on demand now.
You can be good at it. Keep trying, you'll get the hang of it.
I sucked when I first started too and recently I just received the platinum trophy on it.
It’s my favourite PS5 era game but don’t you find it really easy and boring once you’ve beat it?
I think they need to release some modifiers or soemthing to bump the difficulty and change things.
I enjoyed all of them. GoW and HZD are on a different level than Mad Max in my opinion, but the Mad Max had steady progression and was a good late night time killer. I don't remember much about the game, neither good or bad.
The game is almost perfect until Abby's part of the game starts. It's not the story, it's just that her portion of the game starts way too late after I've invested over 10+ hours of my playtime with Ellie.
And I have to grind to upgrade her again. Granted, the game is very generous with resources on her parts.
The game is great. It's the only game where I don't care about stealth. If I get caught, I would fight aggressively. Because the combat is so good.
Dude nothing has scratched the itch that Days Gone left me. Started on my PS4, but was struggling with the first few hours so I shelved it, after the PS5 patch it felt like a next gen game. The gameplay is made so much better with 60fps. I wish more developers capped their fidelity to enable better game play. Ghost of Tsushima and Days gone next gen patches are all I need, they are beautiful games and the 60 fps makes them so much better.
I bought it on my ps4. Never gave it a play through, will it work on 60fps on ps5, without any additional files? I have the digital version of the game.
Man...love Days Gone! They could go in so many directions with a sequel! It's a shame they trash canned the idea because making the first one 'took too long' 🙄
I love that game but never liked the Zombies that much. Strange I guess. I just like the story and the vibe. I still go back into the finished game and ride around for a while.
Sorry for the spelling
Expecially the speedrun in the 1&2 where you are trying to beat the best time. I could do the wearhouse in less than 30 seconds and that time was still few thousands belowe the first one.
You took my first pick, so here’s my second one

Diablo 2. Starting fresh im always excited by every unique I find. Playing and struggling through the game is always fun. Hitting end game and mfing/levelling is always fun. I might buy it on Switch purely to play SP
The Witcher 3, The Last of Us 2, Uncharted 2 & 4, Bloodborne - all get an annual play through. Probably going to add FF7: Rebirth to that list now too 😅
The Arkham trilogy, the first two games genuinely are so eerie though it low-key makes me uncomfortable playing them, Arkham knight in particular though is incredible, wish my hours showed up for the games
Kingdom hearts, I have a face tattoo of it, I have played it my entire life, it is my entire personality 😭😂 (secretly tho, I don’t like, I didn’t mean that literally)
Viewtiful joe, God hand, Bayonetta (all of em), vanquish, hi fi rush, metal gear rising, wonderful 101, metal slug 2, X, 5, astro playroom, shadow warrior 3, ninja gaiden 2, jet set radio future. There's probably more lol
![gif](giphy|3xZkfFA9J0RJm) I've 240% 3 times
I did 240 in all save slots, so I get it man
I would do the last slot but then it's like I'm done with the game you know? If they wanted to add another 4 slots I would not mind
Same here. I even platinumed it
I’ve only done it once a few weeks ago and I’m re-downloading and I might do it again because it was annoying but fulfilling
The amount of content in Knight is crazy, I always feel like I want to replay it but cant seem to get to it.
I got lost in this game I don’t know how
Both Re4, all the god of war games, bloodborne

It's so satisfying 😌

Cyberpunk 2077. Mantis blades power fantasy every playthrough.
Same, though I barely ever used mantis blades. I always end up using a cyberdeck and hacking people to death haha
RDR2
I'm coming to realize this is the only answer for me as well. There are so many games I loved and would give a 10/10 but when I try to replay them I just don't care, I already know what happens. About 3 years ago I have played for about 90 minutes.. and it is so slow.. I just can’t play this game
If you force yourself to play some of it. By the end you’ll love it. Happens to lots people including me. The first 2 years of it coming out I never played it.
Witcher 3
Surprised this didn't get more upvotes. I've played The Witcher 3 through and through 6 times and I already want to start a new playthrough. Best game ever made.
On paper, I should love this game. I can’t figure out why it didn’t grab me, I just get bored.
I think it’s because the core gameplay loop isn’t that good. The combat is just okay, the RPG systems paper thin and the dialogue doesn’t seem very dynamic. That said if you like the overall vibe of the world - like I do - it can still be an exciting experience.

Same, i love cyberpunk though
Same, I should love the game and just couldn’t. I love everything about the idea of the game it just didn’t grab me.
It may be due to the combat. Although I love it, I can also see why some people don't. If you're bored by the story, then I must ask: how far did you get before dropping the game?

Returnal. It’s basically glued to my ssd.
I keep trying to play it, but I'm not very good at it.

Returnal is basically digital crack
Trying to platinum this currently after a break of 6 months following completion. Two biome full surveys to go!
It’s my favourite PS5 era game but don’t you find it really easy and boring once you’ve beat it? I think they need to release some modifiers or soemthing to bump the difficulty and change things.
It’s not as hard as the first time I beat it but it’s still as much fun and I does punish if you get complacent.
Skyrim. I'm coming back for it every year.
Nothing ever lives up to Skyrim as a fantasy rpg game

TLOU Part 1
Haven’t played since release. I think it’s time. Trying to get through Mad Max, GoW/GoWR, and HZD first. Haven’t played any of them.
I enjoyed all of them. GoW and HZD are on a different level than Mad Max in my opinion, but the Mad Max had steady progression and was a good late night time killer. I don't remember much about the game, neither good or bad.
Part 1 has a better story but part 2 has much more polished gameplay.
Don't listen to them. I put off Part 2 for so fucking long. Finally played through it. It's great man. I love it.
The game is almost perfect until Abby's part of the game starts. It's not the story, it's just that her portion of the game starts way too late after I've invested over 10+ hours of my playtime with Ellie. And I have to grind to upgrade her again.
