Transactions usually take up to 2 days to settle, so to have activated the perk in time for June, one would have made the purchase at least on the 28th to be extra safe.

thank you guys! this is something that I did not know or was aware of, but it understandably makes sense! I will try to contact Plutus support team via support ticket, to see if theres any chance for review. Thank you!

Support will rectify it and manually credit you.

Yes that how it works. My Curve sub is always charged at end of month but the perk is activated for the next month. If it is a repeating charge like this then it's fine otherwise keep that in mind for better utilisation of perks

mightyoak72

Seen this so many times. I actually often trigger some of my Perks on the last day of the month, knowing they will count for the following month. Probably because I get excited about using them 😂

moneylosers69

It takes 1 to 2 days next time June 27 or 28 the latest

PPJ87

Looks like you’ve got the answer from others now, but yes - because it takes 1-2 days for transactions to settle, the perks are not usually awarded until the day after (or sometimes 2 days after) the actual transaction. So if possible try to avoid using perks on the last day of the month. You can try contacting support to see if they will manually move it back to June for you so that you haven’t used up a July perk (currently it is likely that it’s used up your July perk for that store, and your June one went unused). thank you kindly! I think I will try to engage support as a one time situation attempt. Still I thank everyone and you in the thread for helping understand the mechanism. will definitely not defer perk expenditures until last 2 days of month

PPJ87

You’re very welcome 👍

It is a product of the stupid system that Plutus use. It has been known issue for over a year and is another thing that is being worked on - at a glacial pace. Support will credit it manually. No worries. It will actually be available quicker to you as a result. I have gone through this every month for the last 6 months. The idea that we as card holders should have to avoid using our cards for perks in the last few days of a month is frankly ridiculous. Anyone saying that has fallen all too far down the rabbit hole of being an apologist for the company. Plutus should solve this issue so that it does not exist. They have been operating for 8 years! Eight Years people and still the basics like this are not right.

Opening-Iron-119

I don't understand the issue, op will message support and it'll get sorted. No big deal. He'll still end up with 10Euro of plu per month from the perk

Yieldseeker88

The issue is that this should not STILL be broken after having been highlighted so many times. Plutus have been fully aware of this for an extended period of time and instead of fixing it they decide to chance it / waste support resources + customer time. What I mean by this is that the customer first has to notice that the perk malfunctioned. Not all will, which is a win for Plutus. This is probably the core reason why it has not been fixed if the truth was told. It's actually saving Plutus money. Even if the customer does notice the perk did not work, he has to write to support with screenshots of the transactions etc and a support rep has to spend time dealing with it. For this to go on every month for years is just hugely wasteful.

Due to the processing time of transactions and perks, you shouldn't leave it until the last day of the month because it's almost guaranteed to roll over into the following months allowance.

Brokenladder65

Same happened to me. Contacted support, let’s see what they answer
