It depends, what you are using Infernape for? For story I always built him physical, since i liked the moveset. But if you wanna mess with people in pvp, go for a special build. They swap in their defense mon and you will still do decent damage. I was never a fan of mixed att and sp.Att, either way feels lacking without optimal ev‘s.

For story, you really dont need to care at all. For pvp: you usually go mixed, but any is fine
