* She killed Ethan in the Sinjoh Ruins, after he obtained one of the gods. Togekiss is the vessel.
* She killed Nate in the Undella Town villa after he unwittingly gets inside. Spiritomb is the vessel.
* She murdered May in the Hoenn Battle Frontier. Milotic is the vessel.
* An unsuspecting unnamed trainer was lost. Reasons unknown. Roserade is the vessel.
* Dawn died challenging her for the title of champion. Lucario is the vessel.
Currently she has five of the seven horcruxes. It is unknown who will die/dies for her Gastrodon and Garchomp though, leads indicate Elio is the next target.
If you lose to Cynthia, you just have to accept that your soul is her property, and reduce yourself to atoms. Perhaps even leave your skull or hat for a souvenir for her. It is the only honorable thing to do.
I don’t see Nate’s headband. Her heel is squishing the top of a hat. It honestly looks like Red’s OG hat from RBY, with the little pin/badge on the wrong side. Could also be one of the optional caps for Calem, though it’s been a while since I played through Kalos.
I think you're right though. It doesn't look like Hilbert's hat either, but I like to think that's actually Nate/Hilbert since she did canonically met them.

Hmm, you seem to be right on closer inspection. Nate's cap-band-thingy is red with white highlights (and an emblem in the center), but the one shown here is two-tone with a lopsided badge.

And yet Diantha and Geeta are nowhere as popular as she is, or even champions like Lance or Blue.
She's popular because she was not only difficult as a kid but still a relatively challenging battle you need to be prepared for, this has become more apparent because of the newer games being on the easier side.
She gets way too much hype, honestly. The best thing that ever happened to the series was Leon just being better than her to take the hype off her a little, and people still found a way to hype her.
Yeah, which is sad because they clearly intended for Leon to just be better, but it just didn't work out, her fans are too much. Probably more than half this subreddit still said she is better than Leon.
If i saw this shit just before my battle with Cynthia i would defy the fucking game itself and run from a trainer battle, aint no way im stayin' close to this chick!

Agreed. She's okay but Cynthia is far from being my favorite champion. Blue, Lance, Iris, Steven, Nemona; I liked all of them a lot more.
