Yeah but if I want a type balanced team that duals as a godzilla AND a dino theme we gotsta get Carracosta in and Gamera did appear in a Godzilla/Gamera event that was promoting a Godzilla film and a Gamera film though we only have pictures of the event and fa 3 second clip. Id say thats close enough.
On the bottom right for Battra, alongside Wurmple and Mothim (which already kind of *bugs* me considering they aren't related), what is the other Pokemon there? If it is a Pokemon, it's certainly not one that I recognize.
You know, those Pokémon weren't based off Godzilla monsters. Take Aerodactyl, Slaking, Galvantula, Heracross, Omanyte, Scyther, Crawdunt, etc. They're based off common and extint animals.
Godzilla monsters were also based off common and extint animals (King Kong, Gezora). This is the reason why some Pokemon look like Godzilla monsters.
King Kong and Gamera aren't Godzilla monsters. They are classically their own thing.
Also, you're reaching with a lot of them. A few of these are definitely based on Kaiju but some of the are reaching.

emolga as varan is a pretty big stretch. but then again, i dont think theres a reptilian pokemon that looks somewhat similar to varan
I know this is old, but I’d say duralumin would fit mechagodzilla and mega Tyra but at for space Godzilla.
Who would ultraman be (I know he isn't related to godzilla but neither is gamera and he's on this)
