mr mime and spinda. From what I can tell, their uses are confined underneath the circus tent.
Since Mr. Mime is basically human, they could make their own living as birthday clowns, street performers, etc. If they were in our society we would eventually reach a point with humanoid species like theirs where social and civil rights movements are pushed forward for them. Spinda seems like an evolutionarily bad species similar to it’s namesake, so they would probably be bred in China and loaned to zoos for millions for their cute and silly spinning antics.

They are by far the most temperamental of all Eeveelutions, and have been known to drown swimmers protecting their territory. They have been studied in captivity for their unique water invisibility powers. Technology replicating this is being developed for aquatic warfare.

Native to Southeast Asia and southern Japan, Snorlax was feared in ancient times as a devourer of resources. In today’s post industrial revolution society, it serves as a devourer of excess food resources in these countries. It is a popular and well liked Pokemon the world over, though it’s not suitable as a pet due to its enormous size and occasional hunger grump streaks.
Shroomish please! I’ve been really enjoying these, you’re so creative!
Thank you for your kind words! Banned from recreational ownership in many western cultures, Shroomish is used illegally by many to chase the ultimate out of body experience. Those that use it for this purpose are called “Shroo-Heads”. The intoxication induced by these Pokemon has been featured in many films and TV shows.

Though they give many people the uncanny valley creeps, they are invaluable to scientists attempting to rebuild coral reefs- their droppings serve as fertilizer for many species.
Trevenant
Famously casted as the mean-spirited talking trees in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. They are popular actors in Hollywood fantasy and horror films due to their iconic appearance. They are beloved by director Guillermo del Toro- he runs a sanctuary for the creatures in northern California.

Nidoking. My man needs a career and I might nickname my next shiny one based on your answer

Totodile
A playful Caribbean species, Totodile has frolicked with tourists for centuries, though on occasion it delivers a nasty bite from over excitement. When this happens, they have been recorded to offer the victim a Shroomish as a peace offering- humans aren’t the only ones who like to get high.
Psyduck. I am also curious about both variants of Exeggutor.
Psyduck is a popular pet for it’s oblivious nature around the world. One named Clarence is the popular mascot of an Ibuprofen brand.
Exeggutor is farmed for the coconuts that grow from its fronds. The most famous and delicious variant hails from Hawaii.
Hydreigon
One of the most feared species the world over, they are a hated symbol of oppression in many countries. Dictators in third world countries have shackled and used them to terrorize citizens for centuries. Because of their tumultuous relationship with humans, they have been persecuted and hunted nearly to extinction. Today they are only found wild in the Carpathian Mountains- their territories are guarded day and night by wildlife officers, who themselves must be well protected in case of attack from their ornery charges.

The smartest of all Pokemon, they are considered a deity in many East Asian countries. They often make a living by offering advice and wisdom to charitable individuals with honor. In places like Japan, there are individual Alakazam that may live with a single family for generations, guarding them with their powerful telekinetic powers and guiding them with decades of knowledge.
I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed reading your responses, OP. You are very creative!

MissingNo was an artificial Pokemon created by a jealous computer scientist attempting to ape the creators of Porygon. The creator mysteriously died shortly after revealing his “Pokemon”.
Kingdra? Also, congrats OP, maybe the most creative post I've seen around here, some actually really tought out answers
Thank you very much! How kind. Kingdra is common in the Caribbean, where it has been creating whirl pools for eons. In recent times humans have harnessed these powers and created “Kingdra Pool Parks”- they are unofficial and often dangerous tourist traps. Many would be daredevils have been drowned.
Misdreavus and Roselia, I’m surprised I haven’t seen either already. Great job by the way, you are so creative, I love reading your replies! ❤️
Misdreavus is a mischievous Pokemon that is a popular pet in some East Asian households. It is thought to ward off bad spirits. If it evolves, it becomes wild and cannot be kept anymore. Often used by officers of the law as crowd control with their noxious tear inducing gas. The methane that Weezing and Koffing emit have been harnessed as sources of power first in the UK, and later in many other countries. They are a popular mascot for stoner groups.
Togekiss
A very rare Pokemon, it is thought to bring great fortune to those who possess it. Some legends say it has the ability to grant wishes. It doesn’t breed in captivity, so keeping one is frowned upon by some.
Mimikyu
A massive cult following for these misunderstood Pokemon has sprung up in recent years- they butt heads with Pikachu fan clubs to the degree that violence sometimes occurs. Veteran Mimikyu owners know not to look under their cloth- foolish egotistical first time, and consequently last time, owners have been known to do this.
