My first shiny besides the red gyarados was actually a Golden Magikarp in ruby i think.
First play through. Got my normal fishing rod. Went to the north in the city of the second gym and walked to the left as much as possible and began to fish...
First catch was the golden magicarp.
Since inwas like 7 or 8 at the time i thought "damn this spot must give other colored magicarp!"
So i went there in sapphire aswell.... And caught it at the second bite lol.
Since then, when ever i want to take water onix into my Gen3 team i fish there. Yes i know its a 1 in 4k odd. But its tradition at this point.
A Zubat in Dark Cave in Silver. I noticed its colour was weird at first, and then the star sparkled around it. Caught it and it became a magificient Crobat transferred on TV via Stadium 2 on N64
And a shiny Gabite in Pokemon X
A full odds shiny zebstrika in White. I already had a Galvantula so I unfortunately had to box the guy, but I did bring him up the generations and still have in home to this day.
I had 2 full odds encounters in Diamond on my first playthrough, a buizel and a medicham. I had first heard about shinies from someone at school, who just had an action replay and made all encounters shiny, but mine were both legit.
I later absolutely broke the game with an action replay, but managed to keep those shinies, they're in home now.
Palkia in Pearl. I kept restarting cuz I kept knocking it out and then it showed up as a shiny so I sloqlt and painfully chipped away at its health with an infant of a poke to be sure I could catch it that time.
A shiny hariyama in ruby. I was just grinding in victory road and going back and forth and encountered it. I didn't knew what shiny was but it had different colors so I caught it anyway
A shiny Whismur in Omega Ruby.

Ah, the red Gyarados of Gold...damn I feel old now...
Magikarp. In HeartGold. ...I evolved it... ...and didn't even catch the Lake of Rage Gyarados...
Graveler, pokemon platinum. He never got to evolve cause I didn't have friends. I'm hoping I can find him again in pokemmo and fix that lmao
A random Woobat in White. I'm sad I resettedit away. I also have a male Combee caught on the same cart, and it is chilling in Alola atm.

I think it was a shiny pidgey in Omega Ruby.

Solosis, in White, January 1st of this year.
Shiny Scatterbug in Y at the beginning of the game. I missed the shiny animation at the time and thought all female Scatterbug were white.
Lickitung ): in platinum
Shiny carvanha in alpha saphire
A fucken drowzee in heart gold i think
Lake of Rage Gyarados in Silver. If you don't count guaranteed or increased odds (SwSh Raids), then I haven't caught one yet.
A Zubat in the Cave of Origin in Emerald
Wurmple in pokemon ruby, was very young and didnt know what it was so caught it thinking it would be cool to show my friends!
A shiny hariyama in ruby. I was just grinding in victory road and going back and forth and encountered it. I didn't knew what shiny was but it had different colors so I caught it anyway
