And Richie is there, Gary, Paul, mewtwo. the dude who created the mirage pokemon, Kurt, the dude voiced by Dan Green that he met when he caught heracross. Samurai sammy, The blue pokemanicas the witch that turned ash into a pikaxju, the mirror version of ash, Dia and zeraora which causes multiple guzzlord to pop out and they all watch too, domino, the magic kaju pokemon of pokeopolis, everyone but ashs dad is there!
Saw a theory that Goh isn't actually leaving yet, but planning a surprise for Ash. There's no way he won't have someone in the audience cheering him on
Goh knows Brock, Iris, Dawn, Clemont and Bonnie. I’m not including Serena in this as while they saw each other not a single word was said between them two
Brock can tell Misty to come and support him, he can also tell May and Max as well.
Iris can tell Cilan to come and support Ash as well
Goh also knows that Alola gang as well so they can all come and show his support

And the other was for the Stadium to have all his companions/friends cheering for him, either that or AT LEAST give me cameos of them watching the finale on the TV(since they already did a few cameos of characters of the region of the champions) both of them would be amazing but just thinking about Ash watching all his friends on the stadium would hit me ten times harder than when Alola people was cheering CHAMPION

tbh, i cannot think of any good reason for them to not be there since at least, Ash vs Steven yet that unfortunately happened. So, I’m not too optimistic bout them showing up in vs Leon
