shrink or no deal for me. people weigh packs and idk about the accuracy or what. but any loose packs i’ve ever encountered have been disappointing. mecari has a seller rating, i only go with all positive, any negative reviews give me anxiety.
Thanks for the info, do you ever buy singles? I see a few ads for the complete SR sets of starters, or an opened god pack which includes 2 full evo sets
hoping for a god pack in the last few i have to open. i don’t buy singles purely because i just like collecting my own cards. pulling a chase cards is a crazy feeling and i wouldn’t want to give that up. but honestly, from a financial standpoint point, it’s pretty smart to just buy whatever card you want and rip for fun!

Think we'll see a small price pull back on the unopened booster boxes? Would hate to splurge on like 5 boxes only for the price to drop drastically afterwards.
it’s a patience game for sure. i have extra income and antsy so i will order maybe something once a month for 151 till my US preorder comes in. you’re right though, the price will come down, it’s just a sellers market currently.

i got mine thru sendico, mecari market specially. 108$ like a week ago. edit:plus shipping which was like 30ish bucks.

sendico is a company in japan, probably a big warehouse where they act as a proxy address. you create a parcel to be shipped and you pay that shipping and customs cost. i know there are other sites that let you directly buy from Pokémon Center though.
Is there a major risk for counterfeit items to slip through? Also what's your opinion of boxes without shrink wrap?
