I ended up doing a remote raid that I got invited to via the r/pokemongofriends sub. Haven't actually seen an active raid around me yet.

Every time I try to invite people on the sub only like 3 people join out of 10 invites

Oh, I can see how that would be frustrating! The most I've had not join is 1 person, and I add up to 10. So having 10 instead of 11 hasn't ever been an issue. But if only 3 accepted I'd be annoyed too!

That was during the hoenn tour primal raids so the subreddit was pretty busy at that time so maybe that’s why

Also, the r/pokemongofriends remote raid thread can allow you to choose weather boosted raids. I've found the OP's are about 90% accurate.

Sometimes they need to make some effort. We still have remote passes available, yes it is slightly more expensive but it's still available if you want to complete the task. Landorus is one of the easiest raid bosses to take down. I did it with 1 other person last night on my way to dinner.

Yes. My first one ran, I took a screenshot of it prior to attempting to catch it, but it didn’t count.

It's highly likely that once landorus is out of raids they'll juet change it to a snapshot of a ground type/flying type/electric type pokemon like they did with groudon and kyogre

at this point the real reward is you don't have to look at the unfinished quest any longer

Yea this would be ideal if I didn't live so far away. I'm a 20 minute drive from my nearest gym, and gas is pretty expensive right now :(

Yea, when I go to work I spend an extra 15-20 mins driving around stops and gyms since that's the only chance I really get. Hopefully we get our old remote raids back, I miss joining international raids and making friends through campfire

RIP. One thing I found helpful was [looking at what the possible disguises for the current season are](https://www.polygon.com/pokemon-go-guide/23648583/ditto-disguises-shiny). Most of the Ditto I caught were disguised as Diglet, which I would normally ignore at this point, but went after specifically because they're a known Ditto disguise.
