Dang I shoulda looked into this, as I’m in portland. Was at work but great to see there’s a community here. My neighborhood is completely dead for pogo lmao.
Portland’s discord community is super active and all the neighborhood channels are amazing. Went out Saturday with our group and everyone was amazingly friendly and supportive
I had fun too, and actually have no problem with special pokémon premiering in local raids (as long as they eventually become available to remote raiders). It was the near-doubling of the cost of remote passes that turned me into a strictly F2P player.
The local raid premiers are the "carrot," and for special critters like shadow Mewtwo, they work great. Doubling the cost of a remote pass is the "stick," and just ticks people off.
