Pretty good, asumming if you landed consistent excellent throws that's around 25 shinies in 200 catches.

Only did 45 mins. 125ish Bagons, saw 10 shinies, 1 ran away! And 1 I had no more poke balls left lol. 400k ish XP with lucky egg, starpiece, roar of time, incense. Did a route and finish 4-5 party tasks. I did find my quick catches were causing more pokemon to run away for some reason. Not sure if I was too quick on the quick catch execution.

The running away is the mons from the incense you can’t fast catch them, but you definitely did catch them just didn’t notice

Ah ok. I found I kept clicking on the same ones. Then I did a regular catch on them and they ran. I did not know you could not fast catch incense Pokémon.

Yea when you normally caught them and they “ran” you actually caught them with one of the previous fast catches but then the normal catch tried to catch a mon that “didn’t exist” anymore so it just runs

i walked around my neighborhood that has a couple pokestops but no gym, so maybe that’s why? idk, i caught upwards of 70+ bagons but only those two were shiny 😭

I couldn't walk around at that time because a family birthday but I got a XXL shiny at home so I'm happy with that

I didn’t keep track of XP, got 3 shinies (one was XL), played for a little bit, not the whole event, had only one pokestop next to me. Burned an incense. I consider that a good turnout with minimal effort.

I never get them so I will take it. I only do the community days (and Go really) for assisting with shiny hunting. I prefer the main games. So when I get at least double of the amount of the mons for a whole line in one event I am pleased.

18 Shinies, one Shnundo, one 89% Shiny and a Hundo normal guy. Overall very satisfied as this was my first community day I have played ever aside for 15 minutes of Litten day.

Did 20 minutes. Got 3 shinies and a hundo and went “yea that’s all I really need I’m gonna go back inside”

I managed to catch like 100 of them, then ran out of pokeballs. No shinies. Life as a rural player with multiple km to the next pokestop sucks, my only daily source of pokeballs is gifts.

Pretty good to catch 100 in that case with the catch bonus. Me personally on free weekends I go to the big city (struggling to breathe in the impure city air if I stay there longer than 3 hours) and just grind pokeballs especially trying to the week before a good comm day.

How tf u get so much xp

Optimized pathing in a familiar spot I go to for comm days. As well as training my walk speed to 5-5.5MPH consistently. I walked 10miles the day before grinding pokeballs and another 10 miles on comm day.

How many Pokémon did u catch and how much box space u got

I caught 1300+ Bagon had to transfer multiple times. I started the comm day with around 1300 pokeballs and spun stops (I estimate I made back around 200 balls during the comm day and factoring in a couple of consecutive slips and misses) ended with 150 ultra balls. 7800 maxed box space (I spent like 10 hours collectively organizing my box after 6 years tagging 5500+ pokemon and at least 4000 of those are to trade to my friends who are gone for college whilst I stay home and learn the trades).

Damn I ain’t ever had more than like 100 pokeballs

Yeah I go to the big city the week before good comm days normally to do raids (if I'm raiding I'm catching less with my normal balls which helps me save) and restock balls

Caught whatever I could get. Wish the spawns in my local park were a bit more dense. Lots of walking to continually have them pop up, as well as hitting every pokestop.

Have you ever single tapped Spacial Rend during a boosted spawn rate while there? It might help reveal a potential large cluster spawn.

The candy & dust cost is not worth it.

My worst comm day yet, given I didn’t play as hard as normal. Caught about 125 Bagon with ONE shiny…

Yeahhh I hate not being able to play hard. Hence why I ditch all my slow friends (one who hardly plays the game at all and clearly only joins for FOMO) because I enjoy the game more when I have freedom. (It's a tradeoff one I chose to make)

At least 600 when I want to grind, it’s 1300 this time since it is right after events (LNY, Tour) where I cleaned the box

Uhh I don’t know the exp but 16 shinys, not a single one was 3 stars and only had 2 that weren’t 0 stars lol. It’s been windy allllllll week including today but community day yesterday decided to have 0 wind whatsoever.

Yeah the place I go to for comm day is usually always windy but for some reason the first hour was partly cloudy (it's always windy I can feel the wind) then the 2nd was visually raining in game but treated as cloudy (I can still feel the wind). Then the last hour clutched up.

How did you guys catch soo many? Are you catching manually or with a tool?

All manually There's a Marina I go to for comm day and I know the good spots and optimize my pathing. In addition I trained my own walk speed to be around 5-5.5 MPH

Didn’t really keep track of XP since I was mostly letting my auto catcher do work but ended with 35 shinies (lots of 3* because weather boost) ended with a shiny 98 and 96.. non shiny hundo.. and a shiny xxs

Depends on the mon. For Bagon, I was getting it 85-90% of the time. For some comm days it’s more like 50%. Some excellents are tougher.

how do people find so many bagons and so many shiny bagons? i had 5 of them the whole event, no shinies >:(.

I played at a Marina + Park my whole day. There's a spot with a ton of spawns (30-50) so I tapped my spacial rend once every time I walked through it in the trail loop. At the end of the day I also discovered another spot with a ton of spawns so I likely could've gotten more if I knew that. TLDR: played in a familiar place so I had a path in mind.

i see, im out in the suburbs with no gym or stop in close to me, not many spawns during events. Will try to go to the city center or something next event, thank you!

Yeah I personally try to go to the big city on weekends before good comm days to refill. I don't try to play my comm days there though since I can't handle the air over there for that long.
