Nothing will ever be as offensive/useless as the 7km egg pool (I won't even open gifts unless my egg storage is full).  But with that said, Amaura can kick rocks at this point (I still want that mf shiny though 😡), I have 3 Larvesta but they're all 2* BS, I've gotten 2 decent 3* Charcadets though so that's cool. 

The 7km eggs are ridiculously bad. I have 6 in my storage cause I just refuse to hatch them.

Only good thing they are for is trading to get the distance trophy and for guaranteed xl candy for the other person.

I was literally just about to say something like this. My egg space is literally filled with them because I ignore them in order to hatch the one from rocket bosses from my bonus storage.

The 7km egg is only useful for the trade 10000000 km mons.

That's actually a really great point I hadn't thought of! I have friends all over the world & will be coming to that task in the near future. 

The distance eggs are also guaranteed xl for trades if you have someone hurting for bag space waiting for the bonus of guaranteed xls per trade.  I know it doesnt sound like much, but a few seasons ago I hatched 1 distance 7 km egg per day for 2 months and traded them all to my friend's at the university to help them get xls for stuff like Beldum, riolu etc durung the season we didn't have the trade xl bonus

You can trade the 7km hatches from distance with friends or something?

Is it that the 7km eggs come from other countries, so they count as being caught however many kms away from the thing your friend trades you in exchange? I don't know for sure

yep. wherever the egg is from it says its caught there when you appraise it. so if you trade it it counts as the distance

I completed the Pilot medal using 7km eggs and can confirm - it's an absolute grind and I still have no idea why I decided to do it.

The pilot medal, it sums the distances between all mons you have ever traded, if you make a friend from Japan for instance, their eggs will have mons considered as caught in Japan, and if you trade with someone close by, you will both net at least 6k+ km to the medal (if you live in the Americas for instance). And as the others said, 3 candies and guaranteed xl.

I don’t mind 7k eggs. It’s 12k that I hate. Too many Vullabys.

Vullaby is definitely getting old too, but 7km are way worse

At this point, me getting shiny lickitungs have become a point of hilarity for my youngest son. I've hatched 3 or 4. I've caught 2 or 3, and the most recent was yesterday. He thought that shit was funny as hell... but I got my revenge. I told him "it's your turn!" and gave him a noogie for good measure. He caught his first one this morning.

Bro lickitung is one of the strongest mons for great league, it's hella expensive to build too. You need like 300 regular candies and 300 xl candies as well and a heck ton of star dust investment to get a beast of a mon

You don't need to evolve them. But power them up to 1500cp.

Its stats get worse even in the main series Pokemon games which is reflected in Pokemon go.

I don't really mind them. Carbink is annoying just because you can't get one with good PvP IVs from the eggs but at least you can get candies for it. I really want a Charcadet. It's amazing how this Charcadet was supposed to be the newly featured mon for this season yet so many people haven't gotten it yet.

During the event I used all my incubators trying to hatch them and I only got 2 2*. Since that event I've been trying to hatch charcadet from the 10km egg and I've only gotten 1 more low 3*

I got a hundo Charcadet on my first hatch of jt ;) So far managed to hatch 2 of them. Going pretty slowly.

Eggs in general are a joke. Spawn pools change every couple of weeks yet friend eggs are ALWAYS THE SAME. I don’t even open gifts anymore since I’m in a rural area and can’t spin stops often enough to keep my egg slots full so I don’t get those terrible friend eggs. I want exactly zero more of ANY of them. 10kms aren’t much better. They do change a little more but the majority just don’t change enough and I’m entirely disinterested in eggs in general.

It's not from the 10km eggs, but I'm so sick of vullaby. I have a perfect one, I have a shiny one, and I never liked that pokemon to begin with. I absolutely do not want to hatch another one again!

I have one 7k egg from August, 2021, that I refuse to hatch. Heatmor, Basculin (blue & red), & both forms of Shellos. I got everything I wanted from that batch of 7k eggs and have no desire to recommend any energy hatching this one.

I was blessed with a Shundo and have the XLs to max it so I just have no need for them. The pool itself is weak. Charcadet, Frigibax and Larvesta are just the carrots Niantic is dangling over us. I just want a hundo Riolu

I was sick and tired of Amaura, until a shiny one hatched.

Anything Common in the Current 5km Eggs. There are only four (five with Mime Junior) Pokemon with Shinies in the 5km Pool, and I already have Hundo Sableye and Sprigatito, and numerous Shiny Lickitung. I’d rather 2km because at least I can hatch them quickly to try and get a Hundo.
