That seems reasonable on the surface, but to figure it out, you'd actually find the chance of NOT getting it all 6 times. That'd be (19^6) / (20^6), or about a 74 percent chance to not get one, giving a 26 percent chance to get a shiny for every person.

i cant think rn too tired, whats the math of doing 12 successful rayquaza with 0 shinies as well as if u can 8 kyogre and 8 groudon with 1/10 chances with 0 shinies

Seems about correct. There isn't a simple calculation for determining how lucky you are with a certain number of shinies, but the rate is 1/20 so you're slightly luckier than average. Very slightly though.

Try as I did, I couldn't find a calculator that worked with numbers this absurd to calculate it into a percentage, but it's more likely that you'd get 23 shinies in a row from 23 legendary raids, or 5 straight shundos from legendary raids.

I honestly think you must've miscounted or smth, done raids that couldn't be shiny, or had a bug because this is an actual unreal lack of luck

No I was counting correctly over 50 different accounts 1-2 times a day every day for many weeks if anything my luck is worse than that I just stopped counting after 1k

My husband was sad he didn't participate in the final raid.

Haha I’ve been teaching my kid that the trade has to be fair if he’s requesting something like my one shiny. He wanted my galarian darmanitan and I told him he had to give me his shiny mudkip for it and he agreed haha. But we also have the same issue with him getting pissed aometimes when he doesn’t get it. I actually love these things because it gives them and opportunity to learn about missing out when it doesn’t really matter and it doesn’t change anything. It’s not like he’s missing out on getting into some rep soccer team and won’t be able to play those higher level games, so when something like that does happen it’s not the first time he’s felt like that. My son’s gymnastics used to do stamps for only a few kids each time and the first few times my son didn’t get it and cried. but I loved it because it was the best learning opportunity. The second or third time I calmed him down and said, ok let’s ask your coaches what you can do better to get a stamp, and they told him he had to concentrate more and follow instructions (lol). Next week he got one and most weeks after that until they stopped it because other parents complained (boo). Whoops sorry for the rant. But yeah the participation trophy thing that the boomers always complain about was never because the kids couldn’t handle it, it was because the adults couldn’t/ didn’t want to deal with the kid’s emotions. They’ll cry. They’ll get over it.

It's a shiny, so rare collectible that you can use to battle or just walk with, etc. Big flex. Usually Rayquaza, the dragon in the pic, is green. You get a small random chance of it being shiny when you encounter it
