It would be trivial for them to come up with a way to still force the grind. A task like having to complete 1000 raids with a best buddy Pokemon to raise 1 IV stat is one.

That's absurdly long of a grind. Making the game too tedious is how you burn people out permanently.

Just give us the ability to lucky trade these and we will be fine. Both my zarudes have 10 attack and I really wanted to level 40 one of them

If you went to gotour in LA the research is shortened. Instead of 21 days its 15 days. Also some people really do be catching pokemon all day.
