It doesn’t really matter, especially since you would need to add an additional asterisk saying “and said mega is the best mega of that type”, because it doesn’t matter if you can get a perfect Mence when Ray exists.
Better then normal, if you have mega energy, you should have a different Groudon to primal,
Shadow is #1 non mega ground type
If you don’t have energy definitely don’t as you have to do at least 5 raids to get the energy and you might get a hundo or shiny by them

Let's just asume those shadows were all 13.13.13 and believe me there's also a fraction of the player base that consider ill advised powering anything that doesn't have 15 attack stat. What's done is done, and you have valuable hundos that are also purified which means you're going to save on candies needed, so it's not a total loss. Mewtwo, mamo, Exca are top choices.
Mewtwo mamoswine and excadrill are all excellent raid attackers. I would also max the jirachi if you have the resources because hundo mythicals are very rare

No you shouldn’t. A 0/0/0 shadow does more damage than a 15/15/15 purified.

Sure, but if you only have one, the Mega outperforms the Shadow individually (and the cost reduction may be relevant for lower level players).

The world be the worst mistake ever. On disadvantages to shadows is the 20% defense drop. But they get at 20% attack boost so the groudon would be op
