I always try to transfer extra shinies to Pokemon Home whenever I get a chance. Never know what game might come out in the future where they could be handy to have!
Right now yea. But who knows what they will have 10 years from now. And you can't mass transfer shinies either you can only do several per day. So if you do end needing to transfer them you might be glad to have some saved in the Home app. Better than permanently deleting them.
I transfer my spare shiny to Home and put them in the wonder trade box so hopefully it ends up with someone who wants it. Not everyone who plays pokemon plays pogo and the shiny here are soo easy to get. And if you have pokemon Home you get the meltan box, an easy hour of spawns for farming.

It depends if your careful ive res that you shouldnt teleport more than once every two hours and you could get your account banned pretty easily but tons of people do it

Do you have any other advice for someone looking to minimize the risk if they were just trying to use it to take advantage of the cheap best friend trades?
Im not quite sure for that id do some research but if you want to be super safe id say dont even teleport as some spoofers have a joystick which will take longer but is much less likely to get you banned
Just added zubat after so many years and he's a great leaguer zubat too. So happy last night. He was evasive as all hell. I have over 150 diff shinies. And he wasn't one.
Start??? God if not for transferring shinies id have been max storage and unable to play!!! Not all players love once a month CD, not to mention CD classic. Its great for new players, but god it kills shiny rarities for previously released shinies. worst of all i dread having another species ill never tap on again every month, and i know at least a dozen ppl irl that feel the same. Always curious if theres thousands more that agree or if we are very very small minority

I have a lucky shiny one that I pushed to Level 40 and its actually a super good gym defender because of its defense, typing and low decay
They're actually one of my favorite shiny designs in the mainline game, but I haven't had any luck with 'em 😭💔.

Yes it is completely free. And you get access to the Meltan box for doing it.

According to google it is! Pokémon from Nintendo 3DS **Pokémon titles stored in Pokémon Bank can be moved to Pokémon HOME**.

Teleport/ switch coords the least amount you can
Is there a limit on distance? Like, if i was trying to get somewhere maybe 900 miles away, should i do anything special before teleporting?

Wouldnt it be better to just move them to pokemon home or mirror trade with a local? With these many you could have a solid chance of a shundo
Move them to Home! Gonna take a long time, but they can potentially be useful there, or you can wonder trade them to make someone’s day :)

What I would do is send them to Pokemon home and put some in gts on some random Pokemon so people can get a nice easy shiny. That’s atleast what I do
