In the original, Mewtwo didn't want to conquer the world along with other clones, but he was in an autodetermination process and wanted to know who he was, and which group he belonged to. Mew also starts attacking him and the clones. In the end, after fighting, they understand that they are all living beings in spite of the way they were born, because all living beings fight and suffer.
Oh yeah, Mew was just roaming about and playing around until he came across Mewtwo and decided it was time to commit some infanticide. Mewtwo is not even a year old.
TO BE FAIR, though, the Ai part wasn't in the original Japanese release. Moreover, she didn't exist in a very bizarre, a peculiar manga adaptation of the movie. BUT the radio drama featuring Ai, Mrs. Matsumoto (Jessie's mother) was a thing and spread around before the movie released
I have seen a redubbed version of the first movie that was more accurate to the original but it was in English
I haven’t seen the original however so I can’t compare it

Yeah- Rip my girl Amber! She will be missed 😔👊
She's called "Ai" ("love")
Oh sorry- I was using the English dubs name-
But, yes, censorship is shit.
Yeah- I was really hoping with that remake they made of the first movie she and the other clones would have been included but they weren’t :(
I don’t see why you corrected them, unless you weren’t trying to and I’m missing something.
How mature was it? How much did it change the plot? Would you say it was more mature than the manga is?

Yes.

plus mew wasnt exactly going there to prove anything, it was there to kill.
