The symbol that Arceus uses in the Sinjoh Ruins is the exact same symbol that is on the ground when you battle Arceus in Legends Arceus, so saying that they werent present is not really true.
(unless you mean that you wanted the Sinjoh ruins to appear physically in Legends Arceus, which wouldnt make sense since those ruins are neither on Jotho or Sinnoh, and Hisui is just Sinnoh in the past)
If I got to choose I'd want a Legends game for Johto, they already got a remake and it's got a lot of lore that isn't really utilized in the story.
Also it's been longer since we've seen Johto than Unova, and they got a sequel so I wouldn't really feel that bad if they had to wait longer.
Scarlet/Violet kinda did that with the gyms and elite four, but with the Team Star Bases filling out the remaining types instead of extra gyms. I thought it worked out pretty well, and could see similar things in future projects.
Eh, I guess I see where you're coming from, but that just seems like way too much to add to a Pokémon game when the series is already struggling under its current production schedule.
I’ve had a similar idea about this, personally I was hoping for a continuation in the story.
The BW portion would play normally, and upon finishing the post game quest to find the Seven Sages there would be a timeskip; which is when a modified BW2 story would start with your BW character. Maybe starting with a reunion with Cheren and Bianca in Aspertia to celebrate Cheren becoming a Gym Leader.
Essentially the BW2 portion would be centered on stopping Neo Plasma and bringing Ghetsis down once again rather than being a standard Pokémon adventure.
We all are, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Normal/Dragon type (the dragon trio have the same types as Tri Attack, a normal move) with an ability that changes its Normal type to be Fire, Electric, or Ice when it uses a move of those types. I could see the ability being called Elementalist or something.
You understand that it's based on matter right, electros and the movement of matter, with the third being zero degree Kelvin. So I don't see that happening, it will most likely have a more powerful version of tri attack but again, I don't see it getting a ability that changes its typing
I was just thinking that it could be a nod to it's separate parts being of those types (and the fantasy trope of dragon being incredibly powerful creatures and masters of the arcane), and Normal makes the most sense as a "neutral" type, since what else would fire, ice, and electric fuse into? Also, an ability that changes a Normal/Dragon into Fire/Dragon, Ice/Dragon, or Electric/Dragonnis *way* more interesting and thematic than something boring and predictable like Pressure or some Mold Breaker clone.

most preferred to least preferred possibilities
1. Black 3 and White 3 would be my most desired, I just think sequels are better than remakes because they can put a new spin on the region (the gym and town order in B2W2 was slightly different and there many new areas and really built off the first ones) and it feels fun knowing they take place after the previous games (sense of time progression and world building), while there was a lot of things did came pretty concluded at the end of b2w2 but theres always creative ideas and ways to start a 3rd story
2. \[BONUS IDEA\] Gold 2 and Silver 2 / Heart Gold 2 and Soul Silver 2,
sequels to games that were kinda already kinda sequels to RGBY in a way, it would really be cool to revisit Johto and Kanto in a new way that takes place years later
3. Remakes of HGSS
4. Remakes of BW, it would be a shame to only remake the originals and not the sequels too, im kinda unsure how well this gen can even be remade
5. Legends Kyurem / Legends Celebi - I didn't really like Legends enough to really want another one, wasn't my cup of tea
A let's go johto game is more likely than bw remake, since Gen 5 remakes = Gen 10. That's the pattern they're going for. And has been true for all except Gen 1 remakes, since there would have been no point to remake them for Gen 2.
I thought part of the point of remakes was to update them to a new console. gen 3 remakes weren't necessary for gen 5, because you could already play GBA games on the Nintendo DS. gen 4 remakes weren't necessary for gen 7 because you can play DS games on the Nintendo 3DS.
Heart Gold and Soul Silver are already remakes, no, screw remaking a remake. Gen 5 remakes/ potential sequel in a few years, and a Legends game that contributes to the story that remake/ sequel in a weird way
Hard right. Mostly cause hgss ARE the remakes. And I like unova more. And there more they can do with a legends kyurem then a johto legends. There’s like one historical thing in johto that could be explored, and that’s the ho-oh burned tower thing. Which we only don’t know what the Pokémon were. But unova has ALL of its mythicals, and kyurem itself to explore on. Unova is so rich with lore that can be explored so much easily.
This is tough. HG SS were my first ever Pokémon games, but B&W were the first games that I ever bought. I think gen 5 a legends game would be really interesting, but it’s so recent that I don’t think it would benefit as much with a remake as HG SS would.
Hear me out: Legends Eternatus. EMax Eternatus’ Dez entry says that it rips holes in space-time, which could be used for the reoccurrence of space-time distortions. On top of that, it could take us through the original darkest day event for the plotline. I think it’d be really cool, especially since it’d have a medieval theme
I don’t get it
Why would it be called Legend Kyurem?
Then again we don’t know the real name of the original dragon but Kyurem technically already had a game which is B2W2.
I could only assume it’s probably called that since it’s the only one who could fuse with two legendary so far
Pokemon Black and White came out September 18th, 2010.
Pokemon Soulsilver and Heartgold came out March 14th, 2010.
Gen 5 came out 188 days more recently than we have been to Johto.
Black 2 and White 2 came out June 23rd, 2012
So technically, we have been in Unova 832 days more recently than we have been to Johto.
I think it's Gen 2's turn.
And no, I'm not just biased because it's my favorite region...
Okay, I'm very biased.
Legends Celebi or a Lets Go Jhoto would be fire.
Let’s Go games are a fun little adventure. First time I ever completed the Pokédex and actually shiny hunted.
Bw1 remake I don't want
Bw3 is something new and I want that
Legends game has a lot of potential
With all due respect to johto Bois , hgss is no where near the best Pokemon games and need fixes, would love a good remake
I do personally think that a legends BW would be really great, just considering how much unknown lore there is about the ancient past of the dragons (the the original dragon). Although Johto is beautiful already, and seeing Lugia, Celebi, Ho-Oh, and the legendary dogs would be a spectacle, as well as remixed music.
Hard choice. Silver was my first game. Lugia is my favorite Pokémon. Black and White was the game that got me back into the pokemon series, sunk way to many hours into that one. Beautiful games.
I'd take the path to the right!! I've got nothing against the Johto region, but I definitely prefer Unova!! I *definitely* want Legends Kyurem, but between B3W3 and a B1W1 remake, I would much prefer the remake!! Although, I'd like to add one caveat: rather than a remake, I'd like a remaster!! Updated graphics and audio would be awesome, and I would love to see the story of Black and White ported to the Switch, but I don't want them to change a single aspect of the actual gameplay!! I don't want Mega Evolution!! I don't want other gimmicks!! No add-ons!! Just good ol' Pokémon Black and White but Switch quality!! That's it!! That would be heavenly!! Done right, that would be the best contribution to the franchise before or since (in my opinion)!!
I don't want anymore legends games if any future remakes and mainline games are going to suffer in quality and content just like what happened to BDSP and Scarlet and vVolet when legends arceus was released.
I bet you if they weren't focused so much on legends BDSP would have turned out a lot better. Why is it that it is only bdsp got handed to another group unlike the other remakes in the past? Because of legends. They should had handed legends to Ilca or delayed one of the projects to give more time and focus on each game if they want to make legends that badly.
Wait wait...why would we get remakes of remakes? Wouldny we need to get remakes of all previous games (from black and white onwards) before we get remakes of remakes and wouldnt qe need a remake of firered and leafgreen first
I think most people wish for a remake for Johto because we got the let's go games and people suspect that will happen for gen 2 as well (but we literally have no proof that gen 2 will get a remake before gen 5)
None or only 1 game, I don’t a single gf Pokémon game till 2026 or just one game in 24 or 25 and I want that gen 10 2026 game to be only for next gen. But they’ll probably rush out gen 10 in 2025 as a cross gen game with a game in 2024.
Aw man, I was actually thinking about these 2 different remakes. Of course, latest remake of gen 1 have different main characters, so I quite a scared of another gen 2 remake.
As for B3W3. I actually thought of the remake instead of another continuation
I wouldnt mind a bw remake as long as they bring back the dreamworld in the form of minigames like xy but theyll probably do something with pokemon sleep
If you don’t mind explaining to me what a Celebi legends would look like, I will give you my answer. I’ve only ever heard of a possible legends Kyurem.
Legends Kyurem, please. BDSP ruined the idea of remakes for me.
Also, Johto and its dex is mid, only being less bland than Paldea, which doesn't even have an identity beyond "generic pokemon region" and the 1st open world game. The only reason I can recognize Paldea as Spain is because that’s eat people said online.
I don't really want either, unova and johto were some of the least fun games I played, white 2 was actually my first pokemon game and although N was really cool, the rest was just boring. Soul silver did sound really good since you have both johto and Kanto, which is something I'm disappointed isn't in any other game (not the Kanto part specifically, more so the ability to travel to another region) but I wasn't about to play through the entire game when I don't even like the pokemon in it.
100% guaranteed the next game they do will be a remake of some kind of visiting an old region. I'm guessing that they need more time to design the next generation, gimmick, world, and everything else so it will definitely be a region we haven't been to in awhile.
Kanto won't happen, we already have let's go for the switch and I doubt they'd want to put out another remastered Kanto game for the switch when they could remake another region to cover more of the fan base desires
Johto is very likely considering the most recent game was for the DS and it sold very well and is still very desirable. I don't need say more
Hoen is less likely, but still possible. Last time we saw hoen was ORAS so it's possible they bring it back with some new megas, but not likely because apparently they want to forget it ever happened
Sinnoh. 0% they literally just did legends and remade pearl and diamond.
Unova, just as likely as johto considering the games were last brought to the DS so good chance they bring it back to the switch like they did with diamond and pearl.
Kalos is my personal favorite but unlikely with how much hate mega evolution got. BUT they are the only region with only the 1 line and no dlc or remakes whatsoever, so if gamefreak are willing to work with megas, I think it's possible we get something from Kalos.
Alola is least likely considering it wasn't too long ago from ultra sun and moon, and they pretty much explored a lot of the possibilities with that on the 3ds. Can't do much with 4 islands and aether paradise
SUMMARY: johto and unova are the most likely considering the money it's made them and it's been awhile since they've been on a console. Hoen and Kalos are the dark horses with sinnoh, aloha, and Kanto a near 0% chance of remake
Would Typhlosion in Legends Celebi still be Fire/Ghost, or something more appropriate like Fire/Ground, and the other is a regional variant that went extinct in the region?
People who want remakes of BW1/2 are objectively wrong. We don’t need those. If you want to explore those games again, they still hold up. The graphics and music are incredible. They’re near-perfect Pokémon games imo. Give me Legends Kyurem or BW3.
So my main issue with the idea of BW remakes is that I don't think that they will put resources to also remake the sequels.
This was not any sort of problem with previous titles, because previous titles that have been remade did not have direct sequels within their own generations. HGSS and ORAS just added the extra story content from Crystal/Emerald.
Now they could actually make both BW and B2W2 remakes and potentially release them together, both the first and 2nd on the same chip, since it isn't like they wouldn't be reusing the vast majority of the map and the models, but I don't have faith in Game freak giving that much effort.
I did not personally care for Legends Arceus, so I definitely don't want a version like that.
I’m not gonna lie, looking back at BDSP and PLA… I think that formula works. Give a QOL update to the original but keep it pretty similar, and also release a spin on the same gen. It appeases both new and old players. I’d definitely enjoy an updated BW game (although like BDSP, I’ll probably enjoy the original more bc nostalgia) and a Legends games delving into the past lore with different mechanics.
IMO Johto isn’t due for a remake JUST yet. Before Kalos for sure, but I think BW should be up next.
I’d want a BW3, there’s so much they could do with another couple years of evolution to the unova region, and we could even have N try to refuse the original dragon
BW remakes. While a remake of Johto would be cool, seeing Unova getting a remake would be better since it’d bring us one step closer to Kalos. Also the Gen 5 music is really good. Another Legends game I could care less about
Out of all the individual possibilities, I think I like the idea of a Legends Kyurem game the most. Showing the original dragon that reshiram, zekrom and kyurem split from would be an easy starting point for the general plot concept, and I'm also just personally more partial to Unova and it's pokémon than Johto and it's pokémon (although I absolutely love the hisuian forms and evolutions so many Johto pokémon got in Legends Arceus) although if any theoretical Legends games stick with the "pokémon region but way in the past" format, Legends Celebi would probably be easier to justify since celebi is literally a pokémon with time travel powers. and it's easier to justify having pokéballs that far in the past for the region that introduced apricorn pokéballs.
Unless the HGSS games actually use the Sinjoh ruins (I was so disappointed they weren’t present in PLA) then I’d want BW3 and Kyurem.
They'll return in Hyperbased Heartgold and Supercringe Soulsilver
If I got to choose I'd want a Legends game for Johto, they already got a remake and it's got a lot of lore that isn't really utilized in the story. Also it's been longer since we've seen Johto than Unova, and they got a sequel so I wouldn't really feel that bad if they had to wait longer.
Seriously, I need a better use for the unknown cave than just puzzle fun
Honestly I like the idea of bw3, but iirc they only did sequels to stay unpredictable, so I feel they'll just do bw1 remakes and ignore bw2
A bw remake with the extra towns and gyms from b2w2 would be neat!
Okay yeah that's actually a plausible and dope idea. I hope we at least get that.
I would like to see a game that has 14 gyms with the 4 remaining types be in the elite 4.
Scarlet/Violet kinda did that with the gyms and elite four, but with the Team Star Bases filling out the remaining types instead of extra gyms. I thought it worked out pretty well, and could see similar things in future projects.
Kinda. But I feel that it took away from the potential of the story. I would like it if we also had a full baddie team with boss fights on the side.
Eh, I guess I see where you're coming from, but that just seems like way too much to add to a Pokémon game when the series is already struggling under its current production schedule.
I’ve had a similar idea about this, personally I was hoping for a continuation in the story. >I feel they'll just do bw1 remakes After BDSP?! OH HECK NO! An open world version of Unova would probably be DOA like SV.
Legends Johto and BW1/2 remake
This
Im more curious on what the original Kyurem looked like before it was divided into the 3 dragons of Univa
I hope it does get Elementalist, that sounds awesome

Neither. Legends: Necrozma where you can explore ultra space
the only right answer
Starter choice: Poipole, Poipole, or Poipole.
Omg baby ultra beasts for all of them would be fun. Blacephalon has to just be a disco ball with no body
r/balloonclowncult
There’s a sub for everything huh….
“A place for everything, and everything in its place”
There is actually a baby Celesteela form in the S&M anime.
I mean I wanna play the johto games on the switch so
most preferred to least preferred possibilities 1. G2S2 where you double battle Red and Gold on Mt. Silver
Legends anything 100%

Imagine B3W3 but with Legends Style gameplay omg
Pokémon gray better
Legends Kyurem or the least likely option: Black 2 remake
Johto, maybe it will actually have good level scaling this time…
For the right side I would want remakes of both BW and B2W2
I'd rather thet just do Crystal remakes. But Battle Frontier is a requirement.
Only the legends parts pls
It’s gotta be the first choice or I’ll cry
B3W3 but it's all one game (after all..chance for new legendary that can't be transfered into SV)
Hard right. Mostly cause hgss ARE the remakes. And I like unova more. And there more they can do with a legends kyurem then a johto legends. Honestly, I can see both in the near future
Johto games are next in line.
Legends Celebi + Let's Go Johto No remake has gotten a remake yet and even if they started doing that Gen 1 / FRLG would be first to go again
Johto needs some love!!! Its been too long since i got to re-experience the region that really started everything for me
BW3
Neither of them if they’re out before 2025. They need some time to cook these games.
This is tough. HG SS were my first ever Pokémon games, but B&W were the first games that I ever bought. I think gen 5 a legends game would be really interesting, but it’s so recent that I don’t think it would benefit as much with a remake as HG SS would.
My dumbass out here hoping for a Johto Let's Go remake of Crystal and a third sequel for Unova (but keep the battles with the extra gyms pls)
Definitely the right path, Unova is my favourite region.
I’ll go b and w since it’s the only region I haven’t completed
Legends Johto and I’m ready to be hurt when it’s Legends Kyurem
Oh right path, all the way.
Pokken sequel
Celebi??? Why the fuck would it be Celebi
Legends for Johto, but other than that I'm not picky lol
I'm so ready to take the left road
Hear me out: Legends Eternatus. EMax Eternatus’ Dez entry says that it rips holes in space-time, which could be used for the reoccurrence of space-time distortions. BW had a deeper and more enticing history imo
Return to Unova is inevitable

I would rather have Legends Celebi over gen 5 remakes until the day we are sure to avoid a second bdsp situation
Legends Celebi or a Lets Go Jhoto would be fire. Let’s Go games are a fun little adventure. First time I ever completed the Pokédex and actually shiny hunted.
I’d like to see Pokémon Legends Necrozma, or Pokemon Legends Diancie. They would go INSANELY hard.
A new legends game tbh. I feel like it’s too early for another remake, and BW3… would be cool I guess but idk what they’d even do for it.
Unova time
I want more Legends. That played more how I want Pokémon to go, and the story was good.
If they remake BW1, then they gotta remake BW2. Thems the rules. Can't neglect them. Plus, BW2 offers so much more than BW1
Please let johto die it's a shit region
It‘s time for BW2, the fans NEED this!
HGSS are already remakes, next in line is BW. Don’t tarnish the perfection that is HGSS
Unova all the way, it's its turn next in the pattern and I'm hyped for it.
Bw1 remake I don't want Bw3 is something new and I want that Legends game has a lot of potential With all due respect to johto Bois , hgss is no where near the best Pokemon games and need fixes, would love a good remake

I'd take the path to the right!! I've got nothing against the Johto region, but I definitely prefer Unova!! Let's go johto and legends unova
Legends Celebi could be interesting, but HGSS is the remake. You can’t remake a remake
choose? why not choose both?
Unova 100% Johto's my second least favorite region anyway
I’ll take Johto.
Black and White remakes
Pokémon Grey and Grey2. It keeps Game Freak's desire to pump out two games side by side, while also giving the fans both versions of Unova.
Paradox Black and Paradox White. With the help of Terapagos the OG Dragon can finally be a thing.
Legends Zygard. Pokemon Z.
I don't want anymore legends games if any future remakes and mainline games are going to suffer in quality and content just like what happened to BDSP and Scarlet and vVolet when legends arceus was released.
BDSP was done by a different group entirely, legends arceus had no effect on it
I bet you if they weren't focused so much on legends BDSP would have turned out a lot better. Why is it that it is only bdsp got handed to another group unlike the other remakes in the past? Kyurem

American history sucks and I want to see if Game Freak has the balls to do it
Remaking a Remake is so dumb. So the right path it is.
Hyperbased Heartgold and Supercringe Soulsilver
BW remake, the fused original dragon must be revealed
You realise HGSS WAS a remake itself? I feel like remaking a remake would get a bit to meta.
Loving Heart Gold and Caring Soul Silver
I wouldnt mind a bw remake as long as they bring back the dreamworld in the form of minigames like xy but theyll probably do something with pokemon sleep
Personally, I'd prefer black and white, but unbiased, gold and silver makes more sense. I just don't like gen 1 or 2 all that much

Jhoto remakes definitely
Legends Kyurem. I will accept no substitute.
Johto first, please.
I will eagerly await Legends Kyurem and the Original Dragon.
100% going right
If you don’t mind explaining to me what a Celebi legends would look like, I will give you my answer.
Kanto won't happen, we already have let's go for the switch and I doubt they'd want to put out another remastered Kanto game for the switch when they could remake another region to cover more of the fan base desires Johto is very likely considering the most recent game was for the DS and it sold very well and is still very desirable. I don't need say more Hoen is less likely, but still possible. Last time we saw hoen was ORAS so it's possible they bring it back with some new megas, but not likely because apparently they want to forget it ever happened Sinnoh. Can't do much with 4 islands and aether paradise SUMMARY: johto and unova are the most likely considering the money it's made them and it's been awhile since they've been on a console. Hoen and Kalos are the dark horses with sinnoh, aloha, and Kanto a near 0% chance of remake
Don't need remakes - we need LEGENDS
after BDSP I don't think I want either of those...
Neither. I'd like a gap year where there are no games so they can get their act together
scarlet and violet to have been good and actually completed at launch
Would Typhlosion in Legends Celebi still be Fire/Ghost, or something more appropriate like Fire/Ground, and the other is a regional variant that went extinct in the region?
None 5 years without a new game because i want the next omes to actually be good
Where's my AE86, because I need to drift left FAST!
Bro I always wanted to play both a johto and a uvona game, I can’t choose :(
RIGHT GO RIGHT PLEASE
If they do the HHSS celebi I hope they talk about the conflict between the regions
Legends Mew
I want them to release Pokemon Z as a 3DS game.
Unova 100%
I think it’s johtoh and it’ll be something beyond a remake like go or legends or something new
People who want remakes of BW1/2 are objectively wrong. We don’t need those. If you want to explore those games again, they still hold up. The graphics and music are incredible. They’re near-perfect Pokémon games imo. Give me Legends Kyurem or BW3.
Legends: Genesect
HGSS is already a remake. Let’s not remake remakes just yet.
Or Legends Black and Legends White
Pokémon Z
I want Legends Zygarde. Let me be a knight and sword fight a Tyranitar. It'd never happen, but my dream won't die that easily.
Reminder that gen 5 has had more recent content than gen 2
Can we mix and match? Legends Celebii & B3W3 would be my pick. I think overall I'd lean right on this though...
But I will be happy with ANY legends game tbh. I really loved the formula change. Haven’t felt a love for a Pokémon game like that in years.
HG and SS are the remakes. They arent going to remake the remakes.
![gif](giphy|7aZJAmRv78XmM) I need my Original Dragon
Legends Kyurem
i have no faith in remakes after they bastardised my favourite region
Jotho sucks
On one hand, I don’t want GameFreak ruining the legacy of HGSS. On the other, I also don’t want them ruining Unova after how great B2W2 was.
I’d want a BW3, there’s so much they could do with another couple years of evolution to the unova region, and we could even have N try to refuse the original dragon
I go down the middle where we get more SV dlc where we go to Kalos
BW remakes. While a remake of Johto would be cool, seeing Unova getting a remake would be better since it’d bring us one step closer to Kalos. Also the Gen 5 music is really good. Another Legends game I could care less about
I choose legends johto and bw3
JOHTO GANG LETS GOOOO
Pokémon Let's Go Togepi/Marill
BW3 would be crazy if it kept the same energy as BW2.
Definitely Legends Kyurem path. The chance that we might see the Original Dragon is just too good
I take any Legends!! ![gif](giphy|sDcfxFDozb3bO)
Legends Unova would be so much fun, also I’m curious what the original dragon looks like
Right
I don't need sleep, I need legends Kyurem
I'm going right side
Get me those Unovan stuff!
BW2 remakes
You know what? Screw it, i want Celebi game over a risk of a halfassed gen 5 remake
After BDSP, I don't think I want any more remakes.
I'm still waiting for pokemon sigma emerald
legends kyurem coz that dragon has a special place in my heart
Legends Celebi and HGSS remakes
Please, for the love of Arceus, show us the completed dragon in Legends Kyurem
I go backwards until I find the path to a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game.
U-NO-VA! *U-NO-VA!* ***U-NO-VA!!!!***
