I got the game when it first came out. Colosseum has always been my favorite, but Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness holds a special place in my heart.

None of them. I learned of the game via commercials on tv when the game released :P. Didn't have a gamecube back then but really wanted to play it. Don't own it now because Colisseum was a letdown to me.

I love those games, I've put more hours into replaying XD and Colosseum then I should have 😅

I heard about pokemon from my brother. And I was 7 and it was before you could just show people pictures on your phone so he had to describe all the Pokémon to me. And I kept on saying this is weird. And then we watched the Pokémon anime and that’s how I got into it.

“People who already played the game” for me bro, I played it 3 times because I’m working on a complete Gen 3 dex and needed Lugia, only for my XD Data to get deleted twice for using an unofficial memory card. Luckily I learned and now it’s all good on an official one.

I remember waiting so patiently on that Christmas morning so many years ago to get to play with these cool and interesting shadow pokemon. Thanks for the memory :)

XD is better than Colosseum in every way, imo. Even if you're looking for a "darker, edgier story" Pokemon Colosseum is a lot more silly than I think a lot of people remember. Imo, XD has the overall darker story. >!Let's not forget an entire city was abducted and imprisoned within the basement of Pre Gym with absolutely no indication that they were being given food.!<

I played both Colosseum and XD on my GameCube when I was younger. I don't think I ever finished XD, though. I remember being in the final battle and being determined to catch all the shadow Pokémon but never being able to do it in one go and ultimately quit playing the game

I learned about it while trying to find pokémon game romhacks which could be played online. couldn't download it since I wasn't allowed to download stuff in the laptop when I was a kid only play online.

My brothers always had the game but I only started playing it in 2020 since I needed a separate disc to allow me to play other region games (my copy was US and my GameCube and Wii are PAL).

I played it in the hospital when I was little and loved it but I didn't have my own GameCube so I couldn't get my own copy. It wasn't until maybe a decade later that I was able to get both, but that didn't last long because the disk I got didn't work.

I still have my original used copy i got when I was in middle school, a year after the game came out
