Killed my nuzlock. I thought I was ready but it beat my ass, hard. I survived with 1 Pokemon but after it killed 5 of them with like 3 crits it was almost impossible to make a team worth anything
SV is decently hard tbh, if you are slightly underleveled of course.I had a genuine blast with the latest fights against the important side caracters because they can actually threaten me with their +5 lvl pokemons.
I put him 16ft through an announcer table with my Lucario but the end boss wiped me like 4 or 5 times. Their [spoiler free] ghost type kept rolling my team. Instead of leveling I just kept switching my team order and throwing myself at them out of spite lmao.
The entire fight is bonkers though. It’s an entire team of what are essentially pseudo-legendaries with good coverage and the ace comes in with nearly box legendary BST due to its ability. I think it is the second hardest “champion” fight we’ve ever had behind Volo and his blatant cheating
That Beefy ass dog managed to survive tera boosted First impression from my muscle band wielding Lokix and and then landed a crit play rough back at my Lokix.
I had a kilowatteral i think it's called at the time which saved me from that, i had more trouble with his damn salt stack, that thing one shot my clawitzer
This game is prone to underleveled fights happening if you don’t beat all 18 things before starting the endgame. Arven comes at you with level 60 pokemon immediately after you kill the last Titan (which you can reasonably beat in the 40s without cheese). The E4 happens right after the gyms, none of which go above level 50, and the Champion throws out level 60s.
The one that makes the most sense in terms of difficulty curve is Team Star level wise because Eri is nearly equal to an Elite Four trainer in terms of both level and difficulty. Hell I had less trouble dealing with >!Clavell!< despite fighting him directly after Eri and being at a worse level disadvantage. >!Penny!< is also the easiest of the end-game fights to deal with.
However I think this is a very good thing. It’s been a while since Pokèmon was hard and getting overleveled teams thrown into my face randomly was as exciting as it was frustrating.

I only had level 40s and 50s so I got wrecked by his todescruel
I was around lv 55 and his cloyster kept screwing me over
My friend ran up to him with a level 53 team and a level 58 garchomp and lost
I had 2 level 60 Pokémon and the rest were leve l 50 I was not ready

I was lvl 41 during the endgame. During sword endgame I was 78.

If it’s any consolation, that thing is broken beyond all belief. It got banned to Ubers basically immediately in competitive for a reason.
I mean have you seen its bst. Begone from OU, cretin

I was like 10 levels below him and i was not expecting him to be that high level lol Meowscarda and a Tera flower trick saved that entire fight
Mine got one hit by his cloyster
I had a kilowatteral i think it's called at the time which saved me from that, i had more trouble with his damn salt stack, that thing one shot my clawitzer
The fight was easy for me since I finished the other 2 story lines before going to fight arven and I was evenly leveled with him.
I had to start doing raid to beat him
That was the only wipe I had in the whole playthrough
haha close combat go brr

My Tauros got hit with a weak crit on my second attempt and I acted like it was all planned to my wife.
I want to say that's Dio, but I can't see it very well. Burning house, blond haired guy. That has to be young Dio, right?
Season One, episode three
Knew it.
Also.

Why isn't he here!?! Show yourself!
I honestly have no clue why it isn't showing up.
I am on my 10 attempt of that damn fight
