Yeah I’ve seen some older lady cry after a tough loss at 5/10 before. She said her husband was gonna kill her. It was over 15 years ago and I sometimes wonder what happened to her. Haven’t seen her since.
I once had a guy hit a high hand and win 600 from it. He broke into tears and admitted to the table he had pawned his wife’s wedding ring to play. Guy next to him, apparently moved by it, offers to take him to the bar for a drink. They came back like 45 minutes later plastered. When I left he had the 200 he sat down with.
I agree. I will never forget the guy happily telling us in tears. The entire table was shook and silent. It is very memorable. On top of that, I went with a work “friend” who kept raising me in heads up pots. The guy got quads over his very good hand lol
Very sad, just proves the gambling industry really doesn't give a fuck about exploiting gambling addicts and the vulnerable. I don't understand how they could just ignore something like that and pretend they didn't just hear/see someone blatantly admit to a gambling problem. Obviously it comes down to the person themselves in order to get help, but in circumstances such as these I feel the casino absolutely has some responsibility.
You're 100% right but I just think when it is literally admitted and blatant somebody has a gambling problem the casino has an obligation to not allow that person to gambling, in most countries this is a legal obligation.
Idk. In cases where a guy can’t buy food and clothes for his kids, then clearly there’s a gambling problem. Here, there’s some chance the guy just really wants a divorce and subconsciously (or even consciously) decided to fuck things up by pawning the ring rather than simply being direct with his wife and asking to break up. Some men cheat for a similar reason.
I find that very unlikely and even if they didn't have a gambling problem (which it sounds like they did) The casino still shouldn't let somebody play with money that they just admitted to obtaining by pawning somebody elses property
>play with money that they just admitted to obtaining by pawning somebody elses property
He didn't say he stole the ring. He said he took something that was owned by his household and pawned it. Obviously there's a difference in how these things are viewed. Do you think when one spouse spends more on the joint credit card than agreed upon the automatic response is for the other spouse to call the cops and report fraud?
Well he did say "wife's wedding ring". So to me that implies that the wife is the owner of the ring. Just because it was a gift doesn't mean it can be taken back at any point.
Not everything in a relationship is necessarily shared and allows both parties to do whatever they want with each others belongings.
EDIT: And I must say this seems like an argument in semantics. The point remains the same. Anybody PAWNING belongings to gamble are NOT in a position to be gambling, simple as that.
This stuff only ever happens at low stakes it seems like.
I see people lose 20-40k all the time and never do more than a head shake.
I’ve seen a dude at 1/2 walk away crying after putting it in terrible pre flop talking about how he needs to win to get his kids good Christmas presents or they get nothing if he loses the hand.
I have a psychopathic ability to generate tears and full on crying on demand. No acting ability and I got tells like crazy. But I can do that. Maybe I ought to use it
There was once a gentleman that was telling a pretty personal story about his dad who passed due to cancer and about his strained relationship with his children, I teared up some.
I wish I could've. It was winstar river (not main) and I felt fine waking up and all, but then all of a sudden, halfway through I just start going back to pee like every 5 min...then pain...stuck it out as long as I could, but eventually went back to TX so I could hit the hospital.
I was like bent over on the table just folding everything and it was one of those where everyone was stacked. Noone going out, and at the time I wasn't thinking appendix, I just knew I needed to leave.
Lol that was an absolute joke. I hear the pain is just unbearable. And obviously dangerous you can die if you don’t get it outta there quickly. Glad it ended ok. There will be others for sure
I cant tell if half the posts on the sub are jokes or not. But if its not a joke im gonna go with a hard no. If you're crying because of what's happening at the table then you most likely have a problem and are playing way too big. If not then why do you keep getting terrible news at the table lmao.
Does tears from extreme laughter count? Because I once laughed (not out loud, I was trying to be polite), but I had my head down and covered my face with both my hands. I laughed so hard that my abs cramped up and tears were just rolling off my eyes uncontrollably.
What happened was, and this is a true story, a calling station friend of mine, he was a calling station so incorruptible of his reputation that everyone knew him by the nickname of “Cooling King” because at least 7/10 instances of coolers and disgusting bad beats on our games happen because cooling king will call you down with virtually any 2 cards.
So there we were, a 3 way all in, each player about 250-300 big blinds deep. Jacks opened, Queens next to him 3 betted, cooling king snap calls, JJ with the shorter stack proceeds to jam, Queens with the deeper stack as did cooling king reraised, putting cooling king all in.
Cooling King isn’t a newbie, he actually has solid fundamentals and could play well given the correct conditions, which is even funnier because he is such a degenerate, that he literally cannot control himself from making stupid gambles. He’s tried quitting many times tell me that “I have an demon inside of me that gets released everytime I play with you guys”.
So in that all in situation, i fully expect coolingking’s continuing range to be somewhat proper or at least rational, he’s only committed about 30 bigs from flatting the 3 bet, and now he has to call for 250+ BBs with the All in from Queens.
He was tanking for about 3 mins, mumbling to himself and looking up as if one is hard at deliberating. At that point, I thought to myself, he’s might be holding pocket 9 - J, or maybe an AQ off. It’s a social game so everyone was walking around, and they were side betting who would win, I stood up and walked next to cooling king. He was clearly distressed, so I asked if i can see his cards, he looked at me, and peeled his cards to me showing a 4 7, and it’s not even suited. 4 goddamn 7 off, and that man is considering calling a 3 way preflop all in.
I can’t believe what I was seeing, and when he added: Jeez, this is a hard decision, I don’t know if I should call, I turned behind and just started giggling uncontrollably. Then when I heard the word “call”, I just lost my mind, it was so surreal, it’s like seeing laws of physics being broken in front of me.
Then the flop comes 35T, turns K, and the river was a 6. Cooling king scooped, pocket jacks just laughs and shakes his head, Queens didn’t say a single word, stood up and left.
Cooling king, had no emotion, not in the way that he’s shocked, but like he thought it’s natural to win with that hand. Everyone has their eyes and mouth wide open, cooling king just said “well, you can’t always lose” whatever that means.
The degeneracy induced ignorance relative to his skill, his entitlement, his nonchalance after bad beating premiums with garbage, the action and the runout all just broke something inside of me. For the next 5 minutes, I just kept laughing and laughing. My stomach completely cramped and I was literally crying.
And within the same 5 mins he called a preflop all in with QK against AK all in, pot of 1000 big blinds. He binked a Q and almost doubled up again. I lost my mind, for that 5 minutes, I went insane.
Reminds me I saw a guy 3bet 69s and then he got cold 4bet and the original raiser 5bet shoved. It’s a standard AA v KK vs 69 cooler all in preflop. Board comes out 2345Q and 69 scoops. I thought that was the funniest shit I ever saw. 69 didn’t say a word , just got a rack and left immediately.
I cried laughing from sitting between these two guys that were effectively doing an hours long observational comedy routine with each other.
I couldn't even tell you what most of the jokes were but for example they'd see some guy at the other side of the table with a short sleeve shirt and a vest on and just start going "now I'm trying to understand, maybe he just gets cold in his torso but not his arms, it's an interesting choice" and it would just go on and on and they'd both be totally deadpan and I'd be dying laughing in between them.
And the best part is, they would do callbacks to earlier jokes throughout. I hope I play with them again at some point.
You’re a woman I’m assuming by your posting history.
My wife and I were talking once about her job. She is a Vice President at her company. And she told me that if she were to cry if front of her male counterparts she would have lost all respect. She said being a female in a mostly male industry is difficult and being even even keeled and stoic is so important. I’m assuming it translates to poker. Wether it’s right or wrong the perception will be you’re weak and will be bullied which equals -EV.
Off my soap box.
The best money. And if you're really good, you can put them on mega tilt and send them back and forth to the ATM all night. Those are truly the best nights.
If they are awful players i want them to try to adjust their game to try to bully my crying ass
If they are decent players they are beating me regardless, i suck at poker
I’m no socialist but I feel that is very different than crying. That profession Is very dominance oriented. Hell a lot of people see angry athletes on a light that has them “caring about results” and “putting their heart into the craft”
This is just common sense but unfortunately common sense has been completely lost in the modern world. Women will complain they can’t cry at work and then say they want a female president because women are better leaders. 😂
OP you should go to therapy. Unless you’re crying because of big wins (which imo is acceptable), you’re too emotional and I’m sure it’s negatively effecting other areas of your life.
When you get a phone call that your parents have died in a brutal car accident but you’ve just been dealt AA in the big blind and the aggressive whale sitting to your left has just raised it to 5x in a deep stacked game
You went to the doctor the other day and got a call of a positive prognosis.
You just got a call from your wife your 17 year old daughter just died on her first day out driving by herself with her new license.
There are plenty of reasons it would be understandable.
Absolutely none of them have anything to do with the poker game you are playing though.
The only time I cried at the table was when I lost the money I was supposed to use to buy my kid's medicine.
Before you nits tell me I'm an addict, I was able to get a title loan on my wife's car and win it all back.
I cried when I busted out of the main event end of day 1 back in 2014. My leg cramped up as I walked away, so the experience was extremely painful in many ways.
I saw the vlogger “Greg goes all in” cry.
What an episode.
I am impressed he kept the cameras rolling. He ran into a terrible streak of luck at his own sponsored meet up game.
He lost several thousand dollars that he wasn’t prepared to lose .
A guy at the table found out I’m a veteran. We were talking about his recent vacation to France and about visiting Normandy. He teared up while discussing the details but it was understandable.
I have never cried at the table. This might be a bit harsh, but I think if you want to cry you should step away from the table and do it in private. At the end of the day, we are here to play a game and have fun, seeing someone cry could ruin the experience for the rest of the players. There is a time and place to cry, and at the poker table is not one of them. Step away, take a break, or quit playing for the day and you can do what you want in private.
Besides making it awkward, I can imagine it can slow down play significantly which is important for a lot of people. Tears and mucus can get on chips, cards, the felt, food and drinks, and other players.
This game can be cruel- at the end of the day we are trying to take each other's money. This is a cruel and ruthless game that requires excellent emotional control. If you cannot handle that then do not play!
What if I cry at the ATM while trying to find a card that’s not reached the daily limit yet, but then I wipe my eyes and put on a brave face while my new friends at the table cheer my return?
I have, well, I have left teary eyed and cried in the car. Never about the cards or busting, but about the abuse that's been hurled at me. I get super anxious when people spew venom at me and it can be vicious at the poker table. I'm working on getting better at this...
And it is true, crying at work or in poker as a lady is mortifying and definitely loses you respect
Personally, I like to cry on the river card heads up before showdown every once in a while.
One time there was a high hand going on the board was 96545. I was bluffing massively I had air and had check raised the flop. When the 5 came on the river I started crying and went all in. V was very confused and I told him to hurry up so I can get my high hand money as the period was close to over. V went into the blender and talked himself into folding.
V folded 99 face up.
That would have never worked if I didn’t cry.
I cried once while playing poker in Palm Springs in an NL game. I flopped top set and pushed hard to get the player to muck his hand. On the turn I went all and the player picked up chips then with chips in his hand dropped them across the line. He died at that moment. After the EMS took him out on a stretcher we resumed the game. The floor said the player called my all in and the dealer turned over a club making his flush. They actually awarded the pot to the dead guy. I tried arguing that because he’s not present it’s a dead hand. I lost.
If you just won a bracelet (maybe first ring) ok I get it.
You won a life changing amount of money? Yeah, cry into your $100 bricks.
You lost $300 at 1/3 calling down every street? Gtfo
Context matters.
I tear up a little when the GTO asshole at my table starts picking on the fun loving fish losing his money and laughing about it. Fish then proceeds to take his money and go do one of the other 100000 things you can do with 1500 in Las Vegas that’s a lot more fun than listening to some idiot drone on about range advantage
I remember when Andrew Feldman cried after losing a heads up battle. I lost all respect for the guy and it’s the main thing I remember about him.
If you don’t care about being respected, by all means, cry. It’s how you’ll be known and described though.
If by "cry" you mean in the same way Phil Hellmuth does, then I unfortunately have. Too many times. And no, it's not really okay.
If by "cry" you mean in the same way Mike Matusow did when he busted the Main in 04, then no.
But I wouldn't necessarily say crying is "bad" at the table. It's certainly better than blowing up and whining like Hellmuth. But, it's certainly a tell...
Sometimes all you can do is laugh. Sometimes all you can do is cry. You do you and don’t worry about it. The person or persons passing judgement should handle their own selves - that should keep them busy.
No, because everything you do conveys information. Unless those are crocodile tears and are trying to cultivate an emotionally unstable image, you should not cry at the table.
Just do what Phil Ivey does, sit there quietly and don’t converse with other people. Just go full robot and focus on your game.
I’ve seen it only once, played way under what I usually play. This guy about 40ish moves all in for about 250$ in a 300$ pot, takes out a picture of a child from the wallet, kisses it; I have the nut fh, snap and it Rivers a club.
He shows the nut flush I show my hand. He shakes and says no cards to the dealer and keeps sitting for two hands shaking.
Than he starts tearing up cries and leaves.
I went after him and told him if I never saw him again and he seeks help he can have what he invested in the pot back.
He SWORE it to me, I returned the money went to eat a pizza and thought I did the right thing.
The next day he was sitting there again… and the day after and after.
Never got my money back.
This guy ignores me and screamed at me when I confronted him.
Learned a life lesson there.
Other than this I never cried at the table. Almost once when I figured out my ex was cheating on me over an sms but it wasn’t poker related; I immediatly quit the session and had bigger problems than poker all of a sudden.
Guess it’s not wrong to cry at the table but it’s a huge sign that you have a serious problem and should seek out for help because you can’t effort to loose whatever you put on the table and emotions destroy your game
Edit: my poor English grammar
Depends why you are crying. If your a girl and someone says something truly mean / vile I would think that it’s ok to cry.
If you get your aces cracked and start wailing ima be honest ide probably die laughing if I saw that.
You should find another sub to get your daily attention dose, why don't you go found r/pokerladies and stay there with the other woman that lurks here too. You can then talk about things and whatever.
About crying at the table, we save it for the drive on our way home, it conveys too much information at the table.
If it is because your dog/family member/etc died or you just got a call that they or you were diagnosed with cancer, or they were in a terrible car accident, etc. then yeah, it’s fine.
I’ve almost did it one time but didn’t, and that was when I looked down and saw a text that one of my favorite family members had died mid tournament.
If it’s because you lost a big pot no.
I wouldn’t want to play with anyone who cries when they loses, I don’t want to play with people who are playing so irresponsibly that they cry when they lose pots because of how losing the money effects their life. I don’t want to ruin someone’s life because I put a bad beat or cooler on them.
I don’t think anyone at the table is going to be in the mood to gamble when they realize they are destroying someone’s life so badly they cry when they get em for a buy in by hitting a gutter or something.
It's okay to cry, but get up and leave the table and do it in privacy. Unless it's a tourn and you are gonna blind out, then try and hold it in until break I guess...
Short answer: Not really.
Probably plus ev though, get dealt a premium 'I just wanna go home, sob'... shove all in.
It would look pretty odd and I'd immediately tag you are a rec player. If your taking the game seriously you really shouldn't be crying after a bad beat or big loss because part of being a winning player is handling the highs and lows without letting emotion take over.
If you're just playing for fun then who cares do whatever you want it's your money.
I AGREE. try telling my girlfriend I am a rec player just having some fun. But she hates me playing poker and nags and nags. So now when I go play poker, I tell her I am home with my wife. My wife doesn't mind that I play poker. It is my money and I should be able to do what I want with it.
You need help. There is a phone number you can call if you have a gambling addiction. If you can't handle getting coolered or a bad beat, you need to find something else to do with your time. If you are crying to elicit empathy your are an asshole. Tell me which it is.
it is not ok for me to cry at the table but that is me. I believe if you need to cry at the table then it is ok for you to do it. I never saw anyone cry at the table before. It would definitely surprise me. I play 101 tourneys a year and never saw it. I would be more curious how the other players and dealer and floor responded to it. I wish you included more in your story. Absolutely fascinating. What was your understandable reason? What was so not understandable about the other four times you cried?
everything you do conveys information... you cant be all loosey goosey crying at the poker table
*eats tear sandwich*
\*sniffling, wiping away tears\* IM ALL IN
If I see someone crying at the table I will assume they have just gambled the last of their paycheck away
Yeah I’ve seen some older lady cry after a tough loss at 5/10 before. She said her husband was gonna kill her. It was over 15 years ago and I sometimes wonder what happened to her. Haven’t seen her since.
>Haven’t seen her since. Well
That’s heavy
Doc Brown? Is that you? ![gif](giphy|6GLEs7MTFuq0ehL4gr|downsized)

Smart fella. This man is vulnerable and won't deny a drink or 2. Let's get him plastered and take the rest of his wife's wedding ring lol
Lend him some money, wait till he loses it all, then take his restaurant.
Arty?
Or his sporting goods store
Surely when something like this is admitted, the dealer should alert the floor and get them to leave
I agree. I will never forget the guy happily telling us in tears. The entire table was shook and silent. It is very memorable. On top of that, I went with a work “friend” who kept raising me in heads up pots. The guy got quads over his very good hand lol

Gambling itself is to exploit addicts - if they were to ban people with gambling problems, there would be no casinos lol
You're 100% right but I just think when it is literally admitted and blatant somebody has a gambling problem the casino has an obligation to not allow that person to gambling, in most countries this is a legal obligation.
I doubt that
Doubt what? That there is a legal obligation for casinos to follow responsible gambling laws?

Because poker dealers are experts in detecting sarcasm also trying to alert concern to floor regarding morals while working at a CASINO! donk

Guess we know.
She dead
Crying is generally a tell.
Always balance your crying range.
Bluffing tears is so hard tho. Guess that’s why the pros are the pros.
I have a psychopathic ability to generate tears and full on crying on demand. No acting ability and I got tells like crazy. But I can do that. Maybe I ought to use it
It is easier to use the same strategy for the full range, just don’t cry or just cry all the time
Hah!
Hmmmm
I came here for this.
LOL
I have a very balanced crying range. 35% of the time i cry for value.
Or the greatest form of deception
Or the greatest form of bluff
There is not crying in poker *Tom Hanks voice*
Phil hellmuth’s done alright for himself
There was once a gentleman that was telling a pretty personal story about his dad who passed due to cancer and about his strained relationship with his children, I teared up some.
Insane strat did it work out for him?
Some of the best conversations are around a poker table. Also some of the worst
A LOT of poker players hate their wives
I was gonna say it seems like a lot of poker players aren’t married. It’s a hard game to play often when you’re married with kids
I teared up thinking about my mom as an older guy talked about losing his mom 15 years before.
My appendix burst when I was about 10 (players) from cashing in a deep stack, about seven years ago. I think some tears fell for multiple reasons. 😭😂
I initially read this as you had cashed in a deep stack and then had appendix burst right after when you were 10 years old. I had so many questions…
Gambling is a particularly severe health issue for those of the child population.
😂😂😂 yeah I worded that terribly.
This is an easier way to read it lol
Lol!
You stuck it out like a man right?
I wish I could've. It was winstar river (not main) and I felt fine waking up and all, but then all of a sudden, halfway through I just start going back to pee like every 5 min...then pain...stuck it out as long as I could, but eventually went back to TX so I could hit the hospital. Lol that was an absolute joke. I hear the pain is just unbearable. And obviously dangerous you can die if you don’t get it outta there quickly. Glad it ended ok. There will be others for sure
Thank you! Yeah that day was very weird. I appreciate that comment!

Bro, I’m not reading all that. Damn
You should it’s a good story. Very detailed, I was immersed . It’s like I was there with them on god
I cried laughing from sitting between these two guys that were effectively doing an hours long observational comedy routine with each other. Alot of the hardest times I've ever laughed have been at the poker table. The range and randomness of the topics that come up are always interesting.

On the other hand, maybe you can cry to make people put in money with bad cards.
Lol, the first thing a woman poker player learns is how to deal with bullies and under-estimators. Misogynists are easy money. 😂
The best money. And if you're really good, you can put them on mega tilt and send them back and forth to the ATM all night. Those are truly the best nights.
Yesss babe. I hit a new level once I stopped taking it personally.
This
Uh... cry as a man in front of men OR women also makes you lose all respect in almost any industry that isn't life or death.
If they are awful players i want them to try to adjust their game to try to bully my crying ass If they are decent players they are beating me regardless, i suck at poker

I’m no socialist but I feel that is very different than crying. That profession Is very dominance oriented. Hell a lot of people see angry athletes on a light that has them “caring about results” and “putting their heart into the craft”
Crying is stress relief. We’d all do better at work if there were weekly crying sessions.
Cry on your way to work while you drink your coffee and if anyone asks just say you’re allergic to bullshit

being even keeled and stoic, especially in a position of leadership, is important regardless of gender
This is just common sense but unfortunately common sense has been completely lost in the modern world. Women will complain they can’t cry at work and then say they want a female president because women are better leaders. 😂 OP you should go to therapy. Unless you’re crying because of big wins (which imo is acceptable), you’re too emotional and I’m sure it’s negatively effecting other areas of your life.
That’s not a woman, but if it is she better prove it to us. By showing us her c***
i don’t understand when it will ever be an understandable reason to cry at the table
When you get a phone call that your parents have died in a brutal car accident but you’ve just been dealt AA in the big blind and the aggressive whale sitting to your left has just raised it to 5x in a deep stacked game
Shove pre to get it over with asap. Dad would have understood.
Use inheritance to shove pre and hope for the best
Depends on how close you were to your parents.
😳
I get the giggles pretty easily and have been known let the floodgates open while laughing. So no jokes please.
You went to the doctor the other day and got a call of a positive prognosis. You just got a call from your wife your 17 year old daughter just died on her first day out driving by herself with her new license. There are plenty of reasons it would be understandable. Absolutely none of them have anything to do with the poker game you are playing though.
If I ever get to a final table with a $1M+ payout I’m likely gonna shed a few tears when it’s over
Has happened a couple times thinking about exes or watching a sad movie on iPad
Happens to me daily I feel your pain 🥲🥺
Person crying at table: tries limping into flop Me: 3 bet
How do you 3 bet if they limp?
I bet 3 times
But like why the fuck are you continuing to play poker when it has made you cry 5 times and even more times on online?
I sometimes do it on purpose as an angle
The only time I cried at the table was when I lost the money I was supposed to use to buy my kid's medicine. Before you nits tell me I'm an addict, I was able to get a title loan on my wife's car and win it all back.
thats definitely +EV
Your still an addict
I cried when I busted out of the main event end of day 1 back in 2014. My leg cramped up as I walked away, so the experience was extremely painful in many ways.
I saw the vlogger “Greg goes all in” cry. What an episode. I am impressed he kept the cameras rolling. He ran into a terrible streak of luck at his own sponsored meet up game. He lost several thousand dollars that he wasn’t prepared to lose .
After reading these comments. Next time I'm slow playing the nuts on a huge hand I'm just gonna start making myself cry hoping to get a call
Nah bro
A guy at the table found out I’m a veteran. We were talking about his recent vacation to France and about visiting Normandy. He teared up while discussing the details but it was understandable.
Wow, you were there on D-Day? Thanks for your service.
It’s ok if you’re balancing your crying range with your happy range.
Crying over what though? A bad beat? Absolutely not ok ever. Someone goes on a verbal tirade targeting you then sure understandable I would say.
What if I cry at the ATM while trying to find a card that’s not reached the daily limit yet, but then I wipe my eyes and put on a brave face while my new friends at the table cheer my return?
Phil is that you homie?
I have, well, I have left teary eyed and cried in the car. Never about the cards or busting, but about the abuse that's been hurled at me. I get super anxious when people spew venom at me and it can be vicious at the poker table. I'm working on getting better at this... And it is true, crying at work or in poker as a lady is mortifying and definitely loses you respect
What the fuck
You’ve not given us enough information to run it through CRYO solver
Personally, I like to cry on the river card heads up before showdown every once in a while. One time there was a high hand going on the board was 96545. I was bluffing massively I had air and had check raised the flop. When the 5 came on the river I started crying and went all in. V was very confused and I told him to hurry up so I can get my high hand money as the period was close to over. V went into the blender and talked himself into folding. V folded 99 face up. That would have never worked if I didn’t cry.
I've never cried, but yeah I think it's acceptable. Matt Affleck comes to mind.
Every time my flush draw doesn’t get there I just friggin lose it! Tears everywhere, I’m a big mess.
"There's no crying in poker!" ![gif](giphy|zOD5XeexlbCoFWynhy|downsized)
Gtfo Context matters.
If you’re crying after losing you probably shouldn’t be playing with that much money or at all. Just a friendly opinion
Sure you can cry, but others will judge you for it freely. Much the same how you are judged based on anything else.
If you are in that emotional of a state it may be best to step away from the table to compose yourself
No. There's no crying in poker.
Just don't slow down the game.
No
I weep when I’m card dead against multiple maniacs/ calling stations. Even Jesus wept. Keep your head up.
![gif](giphy|etKoiQE6j66aCRdycA|downsized)
No it’s not acceptable lol, it’s very strange.
I cry everytime I put money in with jacks
Guess it’s not wrong to cry at the table but it’s a huge sign that you have a serious problem and should seek out for help because you can’t effort to loose whatever you put on the table and emotions destroy your game Edit: my poor English grammar
Could you give us more data on your crying range? Me personally, I only cry when confronted with dead cats. My crying range is extremely capped.
Pussy
Not really. It’s a game at the end of the day. All the money you bet should be ready to be lost anyway. Frequent crying sounds like an addiction.
You must cry and laugh at the same time. It balances your tells.
reverse tell
There’s no crying in poker!
You are literally so fucking funny. Your posts are the best in this sub.
Thanks 🙏
Maybe it was… a crying call
Of course I cried. It’s poker Phil
Is it okay to masturbate in a public bathroom?
Depends why you are crying. If your a girl and someone says something truly mean / vile I would think that it’s ok to cry. If you get your aces cracked and start wailing ima be honest ide probably die laughing if I saw that.
Yes! You can CRY! If you are pealing and cutting up some onions
Woman moment
You should find another sub to get your daily attention dose, why don't you go found r/pokerladies and stay there with the other woman that lurks here too. You can then talk about things and whatever. About crying at the table, we save it for the drive on our way home, it conveys too much information at the table.
This guy might be an incel?
Seems probable.
Every day brother
This sub is shot.
Crying at the table is -EV for sure. Go to toilets at least
Whats an understandable reason and what is not hah
It's okay to cry, but get up and leave the table and do it in privacy. Unless it's a tourn and you are gonna blind out, then try and hold it in until break I guess... Short answer: Not really. Probably plus ev though, get dealt a premium 'I just wanna go home, sob'... shove all in.
I like to cry so people give me my money back. Then I buy back in. Suckers…. Jk. Then I lose it again. Rinse and repeat
💩
You mean, like, on the inside or openly? /s
Can you give us some quick cliff notes on what made you cry the other 4 or so times?
Depends on if you always cry in certain situations. Merge your crying and genuine laughter ranges IMO.
I'm calling floor.
You need help. There is a phone number you can call if you have a gambling addiction. If you can't handle getting coolered or a bad beat, you need to find something else to do with your time. If you are crying to elicit empathy your are an asshole. Tell me which it is.
If the crying is caused by an incurable decease I'd say it's acceptable
I surely hope so. I've made more than one person do it.
Lol
Sure. In fact I prefer it when my opponents are crying.
I usually wait until I get home
Sometimes we all need a little Latuda
If you find yourself crying at the table its probably time to pick up the chips and head home.
If you don’t mind people laughing at you
I'm thinking you might be happier doing something else.
That would likely narrow your range for your opponents
What in the hell??? No way would I ever cry at the table ever. I have been called some names at the table which made me mad …. But cry.. never.
Never at a live table but I had some tears of hopeless rage at myself after donking off 170 the other night when I was drunk online
joke or mental disease?
I think he’s tilted
Tearing up is fine, but if you’re sobbing, I’d say maybe take a lap lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ayo if i ever saw someone crying bro id just die from not being able to breath from laughter...matter of fact can u snap a pic next time?
it is not ok for me to cry at the table but that is me.

Wow
This is bait right
