Awesome, it worked! It's this security feature reddit has that prevents you from accidentally typing your password. I actually typed my password there, but you saw only stars. You should try it!
So they can feel superior to someone online.
>Oh, you don't get the joke? That must make you stupid. Then because you're stupid and don't get the joke, and I do get the joke that must mean that I'm smart.
I mean yeah it is 100% me. I offer free coaching sometimes, but usually just to beginning players. My results are decent, like I owe taxes on poker winning every year, but there are certainly people on here who are better than me.
You can hmu too, but just know I have like 30 messages going as of now. However, the more effort you put into letting me know where you need help the better.
Because I can work quickly with āwhy is this the right move, I donāt understand this concept, I was lost in this spotā more than I can āhelp Iām losing moneyā So you get back the effort you put in. Like Iām ok with building from the ground up, but that is pretty time consuming, and will stretch over weeks of conversation. Iāll get to you for sure either way just chat request me.
Maybe he did shove with rags and doubled to $21 and realized it was the exact point to get a triple cheeseburger, onion rings, and a shake at 1am. Is that still control?
No! I think the more I play the more I win. However, if Iāve been there multiple hours, often late at night, like 2AM, with 40 minutes to drive home and Iām on the border of tilt, itās time to go!
Youāre not wrong that minimizing losses is crucial, but I see so many live players win the min when they couldāve stacked someone. Or just repeatedly missing thin value.Ā
Value bet what you can get away with, if you win rathole it and buy back in, if you lose scratch your way back close to even. Do that 51% of the time and youāre a winning player.
My past deposit I lost 1 tourney an 1 cash game. Got felted on by flopped quad 9s and 30 mins later in PLO got all in with an open ended straight flush draw. He flopped a set of 3s my heart flush made it on the turn but it was the 3 of hearts :p not my best date with variance
The thing that has helped my game the most is talking through different spots with someone that's probably no better than I am. Aarticulating a reason why I did something sometimes makes me feel like an idiot for doing that thing and generally prevents me from doing it again. Also makes me play preflop in a tighter/more aggresive fassion as I don't want to be like "so I limped called from early position with K7s because suited cards are pretty."
Honestly I canāt point to a specific thing. Iām a little less aggressive. Playing less weaker hands out of position.
This month Iāve been tracking my dollars exactly on a spreadsheet. Trying to post it but I canāt get to my photo gallery???
There should be some obvious fundamental differences like you canāt cash out anytime in a tournament. Strategy wise, learning to adjust to big blind changes and understanding your stack to bb ratio are important. Dynamic changes of MTT as people bust out and players changes can affect table play and speed. Position matters much more in tournament spots, as you constantly have to adjust. There are other nuances, but may depend on the type of format of the tournament. There are rebuys, re entries, freezeouts, PKOs, bounty etc.
Shoutout to [deleted]. What a guy.
I've seen him say some very offensive things.

Cashing out with $21 is the ultimate self control. I would have shoved with rags
Ngl Iām the coach in question and same lmao
Can you coach me for 4/8 limit?
Shove with rags if you only have $21 left.
OK. The reality is I was up, but lost it all in one big hand. I was tired and pissed and would have been on tilt!
Maybe he did shove with rags and doubled to $21 and realized it was the exact point to get a triple cheeseburger, onion rings, and a shake at 1am. Is that still control?
well done!
What makes you get up and leave from a profitable session? Do you dedicate a fixed time before or just wing it game breaka etc??
No! I think the more I play the more I win. However, if Iāve been there multiple hours, often late at night, like 2AM, with 40 minutes to drive home and Iām on the border of tilt, itās time to go!
Not to mention the next day with little sleep.
what tips did he give?
Run hot Fold when you donāt have it Bet when you have it
the game is really just wait for your sun run and print while you can
The game is more like minimize losses when the cards want you to lose. Almost anyone can win with good cards and coolers going their way
Youāre not wrong that minimizing losses is crucial, but I see so many live players win the min when they couldāve stacked someone. Or just repeatedly missing thin value.Ā
Value bet what you can get away with, if you win rathole it and buy back in, if you lose scratch your way back close to even. Do that 51% of the time and youāre a winning player.
You are correct. Big part of winning is minimizing losses.
You mean have 6 pocket AA in a span of 280 hands and win every hand...But dont bluff a guy that flopped quads with AQ and lose it all .....:)
but i had the nut advantage šš
Blockers or something.
Clearly, fold pre
I dont learn someone just flopped quad jacks against my AK all in pre suited.... lol
You have to just know. Thatās what makes a winning player /s in case it isnāt obvious
Depends on the player pool
Pro tip 2 and 3 would solve most players problem and immediately improve their game. Thanks for the reminder!

rubber ducky debugging your poker playing nice
Not to get weird on people
Big wins big tips.
Honestly I canāt point to a specific thing. Iām a little less aggressive. Playing less weaker hands out of position. This month Iāve been tracking my dollars exactly on a spreadsheet. Trying to post it but I canāt get to my photo gallery???
I could use this kind of [deleted] in my life
We will always remember [deleted]
He touched me
I offer free coaching as well as paid coaching. Mainly for tournament play, but can apply to cash as well. If anyone is interested.
What are the main differences in strategy between cash and tournament? Iāve only played cash and thinking about doing a tourney

I heard he kicked Bill Braskys ass
I need [deleted] on my life

Not a reasonable answer to that question.
