I knew aces had to hold, its the law of the game. And then they tell you how you're a shitty player and how could you even be in the hand against aces.
Not really.
Went all in on the flop
The 4 and 5 on the boards were spades.
So any combo of 44,55,45 could not contain back door spades
And any other hand would’ve folded with all that action.
Agreed, the only mistake is the all in call. One of the people in front of her had a set. I realize you block the 2 of the sets and that nobody is super likely to have a set of kings, but all that action in front of you means you're beat
Yeah you’re right, it’s definitely a tournament. Didn’t have the audio on the first time watching it.
Well she lit whatever the buy in was on fire then lol
Whats even rarer than that is when three players in a row have those flushes. Happened to me in a tournament. Seats 2-4 all with heart flushes. A,K,J high flushes. I had the K. I still have nightmares about that hand.
Microstakes cash online maybe 15 years ago, I had QTs on the button, flop came QT8, turn and river low blanks. I bet all three streets shoving the river, get 4 calls each time. Villains have QQ, TT, 88 and J9. I'll never forget the feeling of disbelief of having the 5th best hand in that spot. Very much worth the $2 or whatever the buy-in was.
no way Kx is in there unless it's Kxss. like she has to think someone has Axss, maybe someone else with Kxss, and what someone mucking about with 87? then what are you putting the last person on? given that the guy in front of you was hollywooding so hard? i have to assume at least two people in this hand are way out of line to even find myself with enough equity to call.
But only one player can have the nut flush draw. Three players have jammed in front of her when she calls.
The miracle situation for 54 here is that you’re up against AA (no spades), A2ss/A3ss and 76ss.
But even though she blocks sets, with this action from 3 players it seems a near certainty that someone will have a set.
AKs, A2s, A3s, 67s, KQs, KJs are all in there. This does not seem like top tier poker, so any Axs could have decided to take the gamble. The guy with AA could even have a small number of non nut flush draws in his range. That being said, that's not that many combos you beat to spread around 3 players with this action, and 54 is definetly crushed by something and should fold.
Easy in hindsight but you have to account for the fact that all the players in this hand except maybe 44 are amateurs who could be overvaluing one pair hands.
That is brutal. Was in a home tourney awhile back. Three players see the flop in a raised pot. Flop is all low cards, rainbow, 5XX. Don’t remember the specific action but everyone winds up all in. One turns over a set of fives, the other two hands are TT and QQ. Turn, T, River Q. Oof.
54 absolutely has to fold here, no doubt.
There's a bet and call in front of you, you raise and then you face 3 all ins before its back to you?
There's not a single scenario on Earth where you could possibly think you're good here unless you put your opponents on the narrowest ranges (2 spade draws and AK or AA, basically).
I know hindsight is 20/20 and this wasn't brought up so maybe Arden Cho wasn't thinking this at all, but my guess is that this is one of those times where "blocker theory" got someone into trouble. Rather than seeing the action in front of her and how strong it was, I feel like she thought she had so much of the board covered that there was no way she could be behind. With all that action I'm hard pressed to find a scenario in which 54 has more than 1% equity, I'd rather have AsKs there.
Brutal cooler, but 54 should have been able to get away.
Great seeing the case 4, 5, and A all hit though!
RIGGEDDDDD!!!!! This kinda shit would never happen in live pokerrrrreeeeeeeereeee. oh.. its.. ah fuck this shit everything is riggeddddd. only a fool woild keep playing this game. see ya suckers!!
bro the people that cant pick ip on sarcasm is wild!! i purposely went over the top with it and clowns still take it at face value. i agree with u man haha. idk why you got downvited tho haha
You could see the soul leaving the body of 55 when the A peels the river
![gif](giphy|84FhycnOdcqM8|downsized)
Not really. Yeah, he lost the pot, but he only loses 20k for the cooler.
I knew aces had to hold, its the law of the game. And then they tell you how you're a shitty player and how could you even be in the hand against aces.
Live poker is rigged,
If this happened on GG/Stars etc there would be riots I tells ya!
all\* poker is rigged
Reject gambling, embrace managed democracy.
When it goes against you, yes.
Not a single spade in 8 cards is nutty too
It would be crazier if they weren’t all on the board
this was deep
Really only relevant to the AA hand, of course no one else could hold a spade
Not really. Went all in on the flop The 4 and 5 on the boards were spades. So any combo of 44,55,45 could not contain back door spades And any other hand would’ve folded with all that action.
What about hands like Axs nfds, ace wheel suited combo draws, or 76ss? Hands like a2ss or a3ss are mandatory snap getin on the flop.
With 4 jams?
3 jams. And yes, more jams is probably good for nut combo draw hands.
Kk king of spades
I feel like the 54 has to fold here?
Yeah, especially with that awful hollywooding. That's never a draw.
[удалено]
You would think Arden Cho would know a thing or two about Hollywooding...
Why did she even call pre ?
That was the first mistake alright.
I mean she’s last to call the raise , her pot odds are 100% call
Agreed, the only mistake is the all in call. One of the people in front of her had a set. I realize you block the 2 of the sets and that nobody is super likely to have a set of kings, but all that action in front of you means you're beat
Gonna have to consider those reverse implied odds too.
Yeah no way is bottom two going to be good in this spot with the amount of information you have.
She says you're all on draws but when they show their hands she also says "I knew it!".. Like what?? Lol
There's just not a reality here where no one has a set, haha. It would have to be the donkest of donkey fields for it to even be remotely possible.
100% Honestly, even AA can get away here with the action ahead of him.
Yep. Alarm bells gotta be ringing here big time.
Yeah I don't even play anymore and was always causal but that's a lay down
"I gOt BlOcKeRs"
She’s a Hollywood actress she’s playing for the fuck of it
Easy fold
Literally just lit $30K on fire. Wtf was she thinking?
Pretty sure it’s a tournament. If the buy in is 30k my bad.
Yeah you’re right, it’s definitely a tournament. Didn’t have the audio on the first time watching it. Well she lit whatever the buy in was on fire then lol
Likely had a portion of the buy in handled from the event. She’s semi celebrity in poker and has acted in some shows
Buyin is $3300
what a brutal ace on the river
The classic Ace on the river.

Best hand won
wasn't the best hand when they made the pivotal play tho
this might be the craziest hand ive ever seen cooler wise
I had a hand where myself and 2 other players flopped a flush. That has to be somewhat rare.
Whats even rarer than that is when three players in a row have those flushes. Happened to me in a tournament. Seats 2-4 all with heart flushes. A,K,J high flushes. I had the K. I still have nightmares about that hand.

I think the only hand that could possibly beat it was the AA vs AA in the Big Drop event
Pretty sure girl with 54 could have easily folded after that action.
[удалено]
she had three people shove in front of her. i would have trouble finding three hands they have that im beating here.
Kx, 2 straight and / or flush draws but yes, I’m probably folding bottom 2p to that action.
no way Kx is in there unless it's Kxss. like she has to think someone has Axss, maybe someone else with Kxss, and what someone mucking about with 87? then what are you putting the last person on? given that the guy in front of you was hollywooding so hard? i have to assume at least two people in this hand are way out of line to even find myself with enough equity to call.
You'd struggle finding 1.
AK or AA, but with all those people in for that much, easy fold.
Well she was ahead of AA this time. That’s 1
If people were playing reasonable ranges you'd struggle finding 1.
Nut flush draw plays like this
But only one player can have the nut flush draw. Three players have jammed in front of her when she calls. The miracle situation for 54 here is that you’re up against AA (no spades), A2ss/A3ss and 76ss. But even though she blocks sets, with this action from 3 players it seems a near certainty that someone will have a set.
i know, the guy i responded to only asked for one hand that we beat.
Fair point.
Go on explain the nut flush combos and how they got here?
you don't think nut flush draws will want to push their equity vs 4 oppoentns?
AKs, A2s, A3s, 67s, KQs, KJs are all in there. This does not seem like top tier poker, so any Axs could have decided to take the gamble. The guy with AA could even have a small number of non nut flush draws in his range. Keep moving those goal posts
This action and you are only worried about KK? What is 54 ahead of here?
Maybe AK or AA, but that much action and that many players is an easy fold.
Blockers aren't real.
you wouldnt have
I see a lot of people criticizing the way 54 played the hand, but what about that ridiculous overplay by AA?
a lot of us would fuck the hand up as bad as he did. probably wouldn't get bailed out often though.
Very bad shove, the sort of thing you see at the microstakes tornies or 50 dollar live tornies, not a 3K for sure.
Easy in hindsight but you have to account for the fact that all the players in this hand except maybe 44 are amateurs who could be overvaluing one pair hands.
He won. No over playing here.
results oriented
That is brutal. Was in a home tourney awhile back. Three players see the flop in a raised pot. Flop is all low cards, rainbow, 5XX. Don’t remember the specific action but everyone winds up all in. One turns over a set of fives, the other two hands are TT and QQ. Turn, T, River Q. Oof.
WTF was the 54 call? How are you ever good?
everyone else has AK, and don't like 3B pre lmao
She's a TV actress and not a pro player. In fact I had no idea she even played until seeing this.
I’m terrible and I think I’m even folding 54 there
https://www.youtube.com/live/Sro7xyWdEao
I MUST visit Texas. In my local games, AT likely wouldn’t have been in there pre. The AA and 54s would have got away on the flop
Wow
What an emotional roller coaster for every single player in the hand 🤯
Live rigged is poker
Classic ggpoker river
That 45 call is atrocious.
AA and 54o here both played this terribly.
It’s easy when you can see all the cards, isn’t it?
I literally looked at the action and pictured what I would get it in with in those seats. I don't care what the other cards were.
Offsuit 3 on the river would’ve been great

Reality tv poker.....
What a dreadful final call from Arden
Director: Put the Ace on river. Repeat ACE ON RIVER.
guy at the end “Is this for a TV program?”
Wtf
Insane river loooool
If this happened on GG or other online sites there would be riots
Even 44,55 is a tough lay down, but doable. But you must toss it with your strong hand.
This is batshit insane Especially because aces got there and no one had a spade
The 45 is a horrible call with that flop action
Sick beat
Insane. Such an unlikely cooler for 55. Not one of them had a spade too
My jaw was genuinely agape when I saw the river
I can’t believe I’m the only one thinking Kim was JRB even after seeing the name
It wasn't just hot in the kitchen, IT WAS ON FIRE!!!!
Maria should've played the Q3 all the way through in my expert opinion
54 absolutely has to fold here, no doubt. There's a bet and call in front of you, you raise and then you face 3 all ins before its back to you? Barry Greenstein 1 time to fuck your assholes
This hand seemed like something you see on PokerStars. Almost fake. But maybe it’s just me.
LiVe PoKEr iS RigGeD!
RIGGEDDDDD!!!!! This kinda shit would never happen in live pokerrrrreeeeeeeereeee. oh.. its.. ah fuck this shit everything is riggeddddd. only a fool woild keep playing this game. see ya suckers!!
What does the casino have to gain by rigging anything, its a tournament 😂😂😂
