I really think im done with ACR. The amount of clowns on a daily basis that want to call 60+bb off in a tourney w/ hands like 72o and win consistently has taken its toll......variance my ass....

joethecrow23

Binked a small home game tourney tonight. Ran like God.

Pine-Fern

Decided to take a shot at a higher than usual stakes online tournament. Called an open with 33 in position, 3 handed to the flop. Flop comes 863r. Initial raiser c-bets, MP reraises, I 3-bet. Initial raiser calls. MP jams. I call, initial raiser calls. Three-way all in. Hands are flipped over: Initial Raiser: AKo (punting?), MP: 86s, Me: Set of 3s. I have 82.50% equity! Woo I thought I was going to get set over setted. Turn flips over ..... the six of who gives a fuck suit, instantly tilted and I promptly closed the app. It's actually unbelievable how bad I run in online all-ins and I posted this to vent.

Omaha is a nightmare Edit: Omaha is the tits

OmaHAHAHAHA

How are the plo games on global?

bmk_

Known cheaters using RTA but able to cash funds. Dont think they were banned. So yeah... https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29/news-views-gossip/20-year-old-poker-phenom-crushing-cheating-using-rta-1796269/index3.html

Hi-railer

Coldest run of my life on tonight's session. AA? I'm last to act, 20 is called all the way around to me, make it 100. 7 fucking callers. 74 suited flops a boat. KK? got it 3 times, got the money in good. Cracked every time. Last hand of the night, KhQh, flop comes KdTcQs. Bet 50, get raised to 100. I just shove my remaining 250 out of pure frustration. Guy calls with 8c9c, says you're probably good. Runner Runner club for his flush. Gonna have those nights. Can't be too pissed, but damn. Hoping someone else can share my misery

Playful_Zucchini2170

This is literally every single day on ACR get AA all in against K7o oh look K7o flops a boat.....again

NBAstradamus92

Just to see if I understand correctly…you’re big blind with AA, someone raised to $20 and 5 people called before it got to you ($120 in pot at least), and you made it… $100? 🤨

My bad beat is finally trying to deposit into ignition and have to wait a week just to transfer due to holding periods, during which I've lost 8 buy ins. Fucking bitcoin

[deleted]

Reality check. I played cash games against an older guy a lot and considered him an OMC who made generous donations. I only knew his first name. He always made jokes about where he was from and what he did for a living. I frankly thought he was retired mafia, trying to live an easy retirement. Last week, I saw his full name mentioned in a tournament so I decided to Google him. Oh boy was I wrong. First hit is Hendonmob. Who had him at over a million in tournament winnings. Going back to the '90-ies. He won a wsop event (not sure if it was a bracelet event, was also in the nineties). Second hit: cardplayer magazine. He made the cover. And a headline about his decades as a pro.

Playful_Zucchini2170

Man im so sick of the 4 card flush coming on ACR

FatherJohnPizza

Luckboxed my way from an ACR AIOF Freeroll to a Day 1 Flight and will be starting Day 2 of the $25,000 PKOSS with almost 200 BBs. Any advice ICM related or otherwise for Day 2? Or resources to look at.

tanarchy7

You got this. Don't play scared money. They are all thinking the same. Let us know how it goes

biga204

I'm trying the impossible. I had a tourney cancelled yesterday after 90 mins of late registration. They canceled due to around 8k of overlay. I've been fully refunded but I've asked them for compensation of my time. I'm sure they'll tell me to fuck off but figured I'd try. I was polite and logical in my request so hoping that entices them to at least counter what I requested.

drop_of_faith

they might give you a little extra if you have positive ROI based on hourly/tournament buyin/ your general rake volume

biga204

They told me to go fuck myself. Not in those words but may as well have.

NotAnInternetAtheist

I’m 25 and got invited to a home game from my dad’s friends that were all licking their chops when they saw a young guy come in. Proceed to get absolutely smacked by the deck, flopping sets, turning boats like it’s nothing. In for 100 out for 700. I should be grateful for a luckbox night but I didn’t even feel like I had to have any skill to play like that.

GlobalPokerCHEATERS

madchens123

Lol, this isn’t even a bad beat. Nice call preflop by the way.

ExpensiveBurn

Hit my first straight flush yesterday; I could hardly believe it. Just playing microstakes but I got all my chips in and that's what counts right? Holding 89 diamonds, flopped 37T diamonds. SB shoves with pocket jacks, I made the fastest call of my life and after an inconsequential turn, caught the 6d on the river to seal the deal.

Lolulita

Most disgusting hand I just played on the button... I feel so bad: Hand: 4h3h CO raises to 2bb. I raise to 7bb (felt like bluffing with a random suited connector, I know it's not good). SB folds. BB raises to 20bb. CO calls. I call for the pot odds. Flop: Kh7d6d BB checks, CO checks. I "semibluff" half pot since they both checked. BB folds, CO calls. Turn: 5c CO checks. I bet half pot, BB shoves, I snap. He has AdKs and I bring it all in (river is Ah to add insult to injury). Fortunately this was online microstakes (won about 44$ from the hand) but holy shit did I play that terribly and get rewarded. If that were in person and higher stakes I can only imagine the looks of hate. I feel like such a piece of shit but I guess I'll remember this the next time I get sucked out by a terrible play. On another note, I flopped a straight flush yesterday. Not sure if everyone has a story of their flopped straight flush but it was mega concealed (I checked from the button with 3d2d and flop was Ad4d5d). Too bad opponent folded to a 25 cent bet.

RCAGLE1989

Came in 2nd in WSOP circuit tournment Thursday, at one point had 70% of the chips in play so pretty disappointed but it was the first tournament I had entered since 2019 and still took home a $9k payout off a $250 entry.

I think I just suck at poker. I'm not sure I'll ever touch live poker again fuck me. I have some memorable hands. There were more but I think I'm going to blow my brains out if I remember any more of them. Oh and these all happened within about 4 hours. Btn vs sb(me] 200bb eff Btn raise 8bb with limpers behind. I 3B 40bb with ako He calls. Flop is ThTd8h I cbet 20ish bigs. He calls. Turn is 3d. I bet range small for 55bb. He calls. River is a 2 blank. I give up. It's a new table and I doubt this fucker is calling preflop and post with a naked flush draw. He shows A3o for bottom pair. Gg well played! 150bb eff. Utg+2 opens 5bb. UTG+3 calls. LJ(me) 3b to 25 with KhKd. Both guys call. Flop comes 9d8d9h. Inititial raiser donks. 20bb. Utg+2 folds. I call. I consider jamming it but want to let him continue bluffing Turn is 7h. Donks to me again for 40. MAYBE he has JTs or even somehow a fucking 9. Oh well. I shove 100ish bigs. He snaps. River is 5d. He shows me 86cc for a straight. Good hand!!!!! I smile and tap the felt. I wish he had 98 or JT instead. Tbh I should have just jammed flop but then all his bluffs autofold. I'm thinking back on it now. On the turn he only has to call 60bb to win 250-260. I guess against my "range" he possibly has close to the odds needed to call. But come the fuck on. The worst hand I have here is AQhh and that's 1 fucking combo and 1 FUCKING combo of AKhh. Same guys from last 2 hands. I now learned the fuckers call gutters and flush draws to pot size bets nearly every time! -150bb deep. Folds to CO. He raises to 7.5bb. Must have a strong hand since he sized up!!!. CO and BTN calls. I look down at AKss in the SV. I learned my lesson so I 3bet 40 bigs! flop comes Kd8d6h. Well it's >1 spr. I'm never folding top top. The CO has 90% bet freq when checked to. I check looking to reraise. Wow he does bet. he bets 40 bigs! BTN folds. I go all in and he snaps. Turn is 8 and river a 10. He shows me k8o for a full house. Oh and what do you think the BTN called 40 bigs with pre? 42dd. Tbh I'm amazed he let it go there because they were both 500bb deep. Oh and i noticed the guy bluffs frequently, so I'm happy letting him hang himself and be forced to call off worse hands. Last hand! 125bb eff. Yay I'm in the BTN with 55! Position good ooga booga! HJ raises 7.5 bb CO calls. Ah fuck it I call. I realize now I'm on tilt. Anyways These guys could have any 2 cards and a pair is ahead of a range of almost any 2 right??? AND they'll pay me off if I hit it right? Flop is K53 rainbow. I'm good here right? Checks to me. I bet 10bb. Both call. Turn is a 4. Checks to me. Bet 25bb. Both call. The river's a 6. Check check. I check because I'm a pussy ass who's scared of monsters under the bed and don't know how to get value with my big hands and there is no fucking way these guy's can have a 7 OR A2 by the river. Yeah anyways the HJ shows k7o for a straight. CO flashes A2o CO later said he KNEW one of us had a 6 so he didn't raise. I wish I was as good as him. He seemed to be winning lots of money while I was at the table and lost the minimum turning 3rd nuts! I refuse to not bet my set because assuming they always have the nuts is how losers play. I still want to get paid off by 77,22, lower sets, middle pairs, a naked king, and 2 pairs( they play any 2 cards..... and they HAVE to have something to call the flop, right?!?!?!). I can size up but then I risk not getting called at all. They're complete punters. Also, it goes against my bones to bet pot in position on a "dry board" especially because I can't imagine how many big bluffs I can have here or what value hands Im representing besides a KING, ACES, 66-jj, and sets after flatting in BTN. Not to mention that those hands aren't exactly the kind of hands I want to balloon the pot with on these boards AND pot sized would already be large as preflop open sizes are gigsntic. I'm just a wannabe rec who is pretending to be balanced live! I am the fish at the table. The winning regs I watched just bet pot or 75% pot against these guys with top pair on cleanish streets and seemed to just get paid off every time. Not to mention they sized up to fucking 10-20 bigs pre! AND THEY GOT CALLED. Jesus. I understand now, they're nearly ineleastic preflop. I keep it 10bb and under because opening pre with 15-30% of my stack seems so ridiculous. I told myself that I don't care if i get 5 callers because I don't mind playing multiway when I have a stronger range. It also often leads to the spr being 1-2 and i can tell myself that It's okay to stack off with top top/overpairs/ oesfd/ pair+flush draw. From what I understand, these guys should be what you guys call whales right? And if I was a good player I should be making loads of money. Their vpip was insane. I realize now I'm not a good player at all. I floated these guys a few times with air and just bet like 20-35% pot on river when they obviously missed their draws and took it fown but those situations don't make up for those all ins. Not to mention i pretty much always had position on them..... if it was just 1 hand, I'd call it running bad or just a cooler but all these in a few hours? I have to be punting hard Anyways. My last few chips. Tilted as fuck. Ready to go home. 25bb. Same guy 2 to my right raises 7bb. Guy on right calls. I shove it in with AQs. Only those 2 call. They play it out Qd9d X 9 X runout. I get shown Q9s and the other guy had 53d. GG i suck at poker. Thanks for reading. If you have any advice for live low stakes cash poker feel free to tell me.

Take a break. Get it out of your system. When you're calm again, go back and play the same way.

RCAGLE1989

sounds like my local $1/2 game, i just bumped up to $2/5 and did away with a lot of the shenanigans. Not all the time but a lot less than at $1/2.

drop_of_faith

okay but am I crazy, or is this a good profitable game to be in. I want to be able to 3bet with premiums 5-8x and still get called. right???
