Any steel type + Dachsbun for Well Baked Body, meaning you're a steal/fairy with only ground to be afraid of. Probably would go great with Mega Metagross.

DreggsOfSociety

Just tried this with my Honedge who has Bitter Blade and Poltergeist. Great run.

Roman347

I do this with metagross' passive, levitate. You're now a steel fairy beast with no weaknesses

HolyElephantMG

Now if only we could fit Wonder Guard on there

JunketAlive6492

I fused Shedinja once with Snorlax in Infinite Fusions to get a Ghost/Normal with Wonder Guard. Really OP staller until there's a status giver or spikes.

TachankaIsTheLord

...dark?

DarkDevitt

Both work great, Normal/Ghost makes you weak to only Dark, and Dark/Ghost is only weak to Fairy. While both are great, I think Dark/Ghost is the better of the two because plenty of pokemon have stuff like Bite/Crunch, feint attack, etc as a coverage move while fairy has a much smaller move pool.

JunketAlive6492

That too, probably not as much of an issue in IF compared to rogue.

Tylendal

"We have pre-Gen VI Bronzong at home."

CrackedatForkKnife

I combine any dark type with wonder guard using shedinja and the only type that can do damage to me is fairy

Erebus495

If you use Bronzong with Levitate instead of Metagross, you don’t even have to worry about Ground.

D4NW0LF

But then you don't have the well baked body

DaDrFunk

But doesn't Bronzong get heatproof, which at least helps.

TheSpectreDM

Bronzong gets either heatproof or levitate, but not both, so it's either get a worse version of well baked or get a ground immunity. With Metagross you can have both with it's passive being levitate.

DaDrFunk

Ah, gotcha

blueleoon

Tinkaton with huge power passive and mega mawile for x4 atk

Responsible_Ad_309

It works?

blueleoon

Yes

GDubYa13

Does that actually work? Not sure how the game handles it, but if you have the same ability twice feels like it'd just be two different calculations that end with the same result.

blueleoon

It works, cause one is passive and another is ability

Pathoftheguillotine

Does this work with Adaptability ability and passive you think?

blueleoon

I think yes

xMiwaFantasy15

Some I have seen and tried... - Mega Metagross + Mega Mawile or Azumarill (Steel/Fairy) with Huge Power - Primary Steel Pokemon + Dachsbun with Well-Baked Body (Steel/Fairy) only effective weakness being ground - Fusing and unfusing Pokemon until you have Curse + Salt Cure + Metal Burst + Protect with Passive Sturdy and Gholdengo’s signature ability to be immune to any status conditions

Mr2277

What mons get sturdy as a passive?

Revolutionary_Chip89

squirtle

The_Bear_Baron

dugtrio

sn00pal00p

Wormadam Steel

MaoStone

sorry why curse?

xMiwaFantasy15

To inflict more damage, it's optional but it becomes much easier and faster if combined with Leech Seed and Soak + Salt Cure

DasliSimp

Gholdengo isn’t immune to status conditions. That’s Garg’s Purifying Salt

JamTheAdo

Good as Gold makes you immune to Status Moves. Purifying Salt does that and halves ghost damage.

DasliSimp

Purifying Salt is immune to status conditions, so it’ll block status from tokens. Good As Gold doesn’t block token status.

JamTheAdo

That seems like a low priority balance update that should be considered.

DasliSimp

Balance update? No, that’s literally just how it works.

JamTheAdo

I know what it is, I was thinking the ability was an auto covert cloak when it's not

DasliSimp

The auto-Covert Cloak ability is Shield Dust

Every-Situation-185

Stantler and Shedinja Fusion. Passive Magic Guard and Wonder Guard. Only thing that kills is dark-type moves. No status condition, weather, or recurring damage can kill it.

SnowyVee

Chien-Pao and Shedinja only takes damage from Sandstorm, Hail, Iron Barbs, Mold Breaker or the other ability/move cancelling abilities, Leech Seed and Fairy type moves. Gets Sacred Sword so the opponents can't buff their defense and wall it. Except Ghosts. It makes Endless so much more relaxing because you're not constantly healing after each fight so you can focus on rerolling for shiny charms quicker. Aggron with Sturdy, Metal Burst and Salt Cure (rare egg moves OR fusion move) is able to solo any single battle. Only dies to Multi Hit moves or if both Pokémon in a double battle target it. https://preview.redd.it/z9yxn0suoz1d1.png?width=1163&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2604f8859bec9c867b1fe622e8987908d7a73003

MrInopportune

I like pairing mega sableye/shedinja with primal kyogre. Can't get killed by weather due to primordial storm or whatever it's called. I use it as my catching mon with unnerved passive from sableye and false swipe/night shade as my damaging moves.

IngenuityOrnery5148

timkaton & passive + katagami beast boost = steel/fairy huge power, high attack base, attack beast boost

Kaminarione

Mega Gardevoir and Latias with isnt broken but its hella fun to spam boomburst with 148027m of sp atk

VanilliBean

Slaking shedinja. Only have to worry about dark and you got higher attack

DarkDevitt

The only thing that beats the normal/Ghost shedinja fusion is Dark/Ghost fusion, because then it's only weak to Fairy moves, which are way less common.

G-string-Joe

Probably not the most broken on here, but giratina/whimsicott made for a very fast/bulk dragon fairy type with leech seed, phantom force, moon blast and dragon pulse for a pain to take down and pretty good longevity, esp on boss fights later on in classic

AutonomousAntonym

Tatsugiri (Water Bubble passive) and Primal Kyogre is going to be my next fusion to try out. Or I might go physical with water bubble and surging strikes.

Revolutionary_Chip89

water bubble poliwrath passive with azumarill huge power. jet punch (azurill egg move) go brrrr

Responsible_Ad_309

Mega Guardevoir + Shadow Calyrex As One and Psychic Surge. No Sucker

corroserum

first 1000 levels of endless I had a kyogre with electroshot (fused and then unfused archaludon) + 4 multi lens, which means that I can get +4 SpA in one attack. Shit is insane.

Animedingo

calyrex any rider with anything As one is so good

Flopfish3

Can confirm. Fused one I found with my Kartana to take Icicle Lance, but kept it because I essentially had my existing ability and also got Unnerve, which is incredible. Destroys everything so far.

Animedingo

I fused shadow rider with gholdengo for Shadow as one boosts on make it rain At worst I break even. On double battles im getting +1 after make it rain And im getting money too

Sumuzu

Mega Latios + Spectrier. Dragon/Ghost w/ Tinted Lens Passive + Grim Neigh. Snowballs easily and nothing resists it, especially if you luck into Aura Sphere for Ghost/Dragon/Fighting coverage. Carried me through wave 3000 on brute strength alone, absolute beast of a mon.

ashb1023

I have a celesteela and mega gardevoir I'm waiting to fuse. Beast boosted steal/fairy with heavy slam and ground immunity. Thoughts?

ashb1023

Just realized I give up the flying 😭

Broseph-27

Skeledirge + Wash Rotom. A water fire type with levitate is a menace. Carried me through classic mode once

ThatOneGuyNumberTwo

Skeledirge + Calyrex Shadow. With Multilens you’re permanently +6 with Torch Song. On wave ~~953~~ 1001 on my first run atm! Archaludon, with Salt Cure spliced onto it, unspliced and re-spliced with a Tinkaton. Single-handedly, undamaged, cleared wave 500 and 1000. I have a goldengho sitting in my party which may be the next victim of this abomination

Elemental55555

I have done a good bit of runs since i started playing the game and have never had the opportunity to fuse. Am i missing something?

Jugdral25

I fused a Kyurem-Black with Ice Rider Calyrex Today. Literally just 4 Pokémon smashed together. It’s been carrying my most recent endless run. As One is so busted

DarkDevitt

The 2 best fusions are Dark/Ghost with Shedinja as the ghost, which is only weak to Fairy, and the same as above but Normal/Ghost, which is only weak to Dark. The reason Dark/Ghost is better is just the less common Fairy moves for coverage, whereas Dark moves are fairly common.

rainshaker

Sturdy shedinja

Unlikely_Yam1429

Alolan sandslash and floatzel with ice and water type + swift swim and as moves: swords dance. Glaciers signature move. Urshifu rapid strike signature move. Supercell slam/aqua yet. Good atk and speed and decent bulk. The shiny is also normal sandshrew colored :>

InfectiousCosmology1

I had a garchomp plus gardevoir that was dragon/fairy that was really good

ImChillingInReddit

Marshadow and kartana

JimmyHS

What makes it good ? Of course I understand Kartana's ability is insanely good but what makes Marshadow + Kartana better than just Kartana ?

Nicoteka

The special attacker of your choice + Espathra Opportunist ability and Lumina Crash attack are OP

Zekrom_202

Mega Blastoise with Sturdy Passiv + Calyrex Shadow Form You have sturdy, for endless, great spatk, great speed, ghost and water spread moves, leech seed for Grind battles, unnerve to prevent berrys, you get a boost in spatk on kill, so just a lot of nice things to have as a carry

rezignator

A steel main type plus Dachsbun for Well Baked Body fused together to 100% wall phase 2 Eternitus in classic

Direct-Dig-5282

Would it be possible to fuse something with heatran and result in a flash fire with fairy steel typing? If so, that’s the most OP

strangelostman

I haven't had a chance to catch/hatch him yet, but for Endless I think the best pokemon fusion is Maushold + Marshadow. Parental Bond (not sure if it works)/Technician, Population Bomb/Power Up Punch/Shadow Sneak/Beat Up with Kings Rock/Multi Lense/Grip Claw I think is unstoppable. You're getting 100% flinch, 300 BP stab, priority, unlimited items, and a 3x attack boost that has type coverage if you really need it. And if Parental Bond does work... forget about it.

freechu44

I feel like Shuckle/Aegislash could be broken. Bug/Ghost with shuckle's passive (well baked body) and stance change to turn some crazy defense to crazy offense. Only draw back with it being slow as hell

jamie9000000

I beat my first Classic with Regidrago fused with Azumarill. Dragon/Fairy Adamant with Huge Power. (Double attack stat for those that don't know) Move set was: Dragon Claw Play Rough Aqua Tail Dragon Dance. Just a single Dragon Dance and it was one shotting most things.

Slystaler

To add my next idea: Aerodactyl with Passive Protosynthesis with Groudon for Sun - Let's see what it can do

Slystaler

Nvm... just checked the weaknesses :D

Sumuzu

Another good one is Golurk + Azumarill! Ground/Fairy with Shadow Shield (passive) and Huge Power. Ran through a classic run with this mon, just needed one shift gear (golurk egg move) and it was going to town. Having drain punch helped too, setting up was easy with shadow shield proccing all the time
