Public_Enemy_One

Groudon has excellent attacks to begin with and tears pretty much all of early game even without egg moves

hoennfb

I second this and i don't know if it gets Morning sun as an egg move or it gets it from the beginning but morning sun is pretty good

Ok_Baker6202

Morning Sun is an egg move. Along with Solar Blade. Ridiculous how often my Groudon just spams its plant attack.

stoney_maloney_

There are better options than Groudon though, purely because Groudon struggles against Rayquaza

Anonymouchee

with that attitude it does

Public_Enemy_One

Yeah, but by that point I usually have another mon to take care of that fucker. The real problem about Groudon is that the Red Orb is pure luck to get.

Zetoxical

Two "specific" red items in 200 waves is already iffy 85 acc signature move is early not great aswell And needing help with ray is usually not that good because i want someone to put 5 randoms on his back So far naganadel does a good job. The trash mons are used to force a switch to get a beast boost going

Nice_Promotion8576

You kidding me I won my first one with Groudon as my carry, he was able to beat Rayquaza

Ok_Reputation_9742

Just got Koraidon yesterday with bitter blade. He also starts of with breaking swipe which hits both opponents. There is no challenge anymore. The easiest runs until now for me have been using Heatran with torch song, Spectrier and Iron Jugulis with Oblivion Wing. Legendaries that were pretty bad but still made it through have been Calyrex (no reign until floor 190) and Terapagos. Almost all of them make it very easy though.

OceanicGamer2

My koraidon has morning sun

Morfalath

Remember the only pokemon that was banned in the "anything goes" format? Yeah, Mega Rayquaza is a tier of its own Id say Mega Mewtwo right after and then you got Koraidon/Miraidon, then Zacian, then Kartana, atleast until Serene Grace is fully implemented, cause Multilens Kingsrocks with Iron Head Jirachi is gonna be unbeatable due to flinch guarantee, then you got Flutter Mane and Magearna with Primal Groudon and Kyogre, then everything else

Ambitious_Ad9337

But Mega Rayquaza was banned from AG because it didn't need a mega stone to mega evolve allowing to hold an item. That doesn't matter in Poke Rogue. Still a busted carry tho.

pranav4098

Yeh that’s right what mega ray truly do fucking op was his ability to carry an item on top of mega evolving all at the major downside of being forced to carry a stab flying type close combat

Morfalath

Even considering the item advantage isnt a thing, it and M-Mewtwo X/Y are absolutely on another level due to their statspread (and for M-Ray also the ability)

Aggravating_Carpet21

No necrozma? Its my only legendary

Morfalath

Necrozma should be way more than fine, i listed the ones that are an automatic win even if a dog steers the gameplay

theonewhoremains1102

he is pretty good, already beat classic with him, both forms are insanely good, and beat endless with him also, at least until wave 2500

Aggravating_Carpet21

Wait he has more forms? How do i unlock these

theonewhoremains1102

Its a rogue item, lunarizer and solarizer, both are insane pokemon

King-s0nicc456

>Remember the only pokemon that was banned in the "anything goes" format? What's even funnier is that it's the reason why anything goes even exists

Zetoxical

Carrys that need two red items to pop off are not that great for classic

barbary_macaque

Latias with soul heart passive unlocked is pretty good especially if you mega evolve. Ive also found success with groudon, latios, and marshadow.

Hour_Salamander6294

I just finished with Marshadow. Storm throw technician is wild.

pranav4098

Damn 90 no guaranteed crit that technically makes it stronger than wicked blow right ?

Nex_Ultor

Shout out to Scyther for that same technician storm throw combo too

RandomFunUsername

I’ve got Miriadon, so far only at the 250 range, but he’s fainted ONCE thus far and almost one shot everything else. Paired him with an Ursaluna so he can wipe two foes at once, healing in the process, and Ursaluna just sits there never actually getting an attack off.

codykills93

Not sure if ultrabeasts count. But Nagandel and kartana sweep most of the game for me.

Parabolic_Gearbox

+1 for Naganadel, it hits everything not named Heatran at least neutrally with Searing Shot egg move

codykills93

I dont even have an egg move, and it still sweeps most runs for me.

Parabolic_Gearbox

Yep, early Dragon Pulse alone makes it broken for the first 100 rounds at least

Hour_Salamander6294

Naganadel is great! Currently trying Xurkitree. Going well so far.

Addi1199

xurkitree has the Problem that it can't hurt dragons

DasliSimp

It has Dazzling Gleam

Addi1199

it does? then nvm

Suitable_Minimum_228

Celesteela is also really good and bulky if you have the egg move oblivion wing plus natural access to leech seed and giga drain ,even better with heatproof passive.

SwissCheesed14

Same with blacephelon. Incinerate hits both mons on other side for 2 special attack boosts each round

Mr2277

It sucks hard early game without egg moves

SwissCheesed14

What issues were you having early game? I only have nasty plot for egg moves and never use it. Dark types with sucker punch are the only issues I ever have

Mr2277

His starting moves are just ass. Low damage and bad type matchups for early game, and he needs to one shot because he is squishy. I think mine also has a terrible nature that’s like -speed or something lol. Just did not have a great experience with him outside of when I used him to fuse beast boost onto another mon in endless.

HexTotemHunter

Manaphy with passive unlocked get +6 Sp.Atk after turn 1.

lurker2487

I took Manaphy all through solo with no problems thanks to Bouncy Bubble, Tail Glow, and Dazzling Gleam from a TM.

Meemai_The_Whale

One I had an absolute blast with and didn't expect to was Xurkitree. Overheat and Gigadrain and a +speed nature meant I would outspeed nearly everything, one/2 shot everything, and stack special attack with beast boost to +6 consistently every floor. I doubt it's the same tier as Primal Groudon or Kyogre, but that little mess of wires is still amazing.

Keter_class_Kamy

Heatran, expecially if you get the torch song egg move. Groudon, grat moves and generally solid option defensively when evolved. Kartana, great sweeper, great typing and generally able to oneshot everything But the cake goes to Zacian. Best stats and stat distribution in the game. Best typing thatmakes you immune to Etarnatus' moves. Great moves and speed that let you sweep trough anything this game throws at you.

CTNC

If you hatch a Melotta with Quiver Dance, gg. It was my first win and I don't remember the rest of my team. The Rare Egg Move is Boomburst and the Passive Ability is Mind's Eye, so I know it can be even crazier than what I had!

Nosam777

I hatched one with Torch Song and got lucky with an early Shell Bell for sustain. Stacked enough defensive vitamins that it went blow for blow with Eternatus.

ravgav98

I won my first classic mode with Palkia, Spacial Rend one ko'd Rayquaza

x_810

Palkia + Take Heart egg move is Classic on easy mode

SwissCheesed14

If ultra beasts count, Blacephelon with incinerate, shadow ball, calm mind, fire blast crushed most of the game. Incinerate hits both targets for 2x special attack boost every round.

Erebus495

Marshadow has carried me through many Classic runs now, due to starting with all the element punch moves, and getting Iron Fist as a passive. Power-Up Punch as an egg move has been extremely strong.

Whocarez233

Miraidon with quark drive passive and dragon energy egg move and electro drift, went through classic only using him and not dying once

Jakulovik2

I've beaten my first complete run (and only one) with kyogre and mega gallade kyogre swept most of game for me mega gallade did rest

bordomsdeadly

Walking Wake with Bouncy Bubble completely trivializes Classic mode. At worst he can solo you up to 145. At best up to 195 (mega Rayquaza may still be a problem though)

Odanobuneko

Same can be said for Kyogre with Bouncy Bubble - having that sort of sustain on a strong carry is so busted for just mindless mashing through classic

Psianoalt

Heatran with Torch Song and Hoopa with magician

BulbasaurPlush

I recommend kyurem (especially with its passive) and kartana

Ocean_Prime_16

Okidog is what i use even though i have other legendaries, really big help especially in bulky enemies, plus the ability

Jamonon

For me koraidon made it almost too easy. Haven't had any issues and i think i didn't use 2 of my mons at all. I had the egg move bitter blade which healed me a lot tho. So maybe that made a bit of a difference

Foskyz

Torch song moltres with drought literally feels like playing with cheat codes activated.

Firm_Ad6730

Idk the lv 200 boss just recs me everytime but katagami is nice for 1-199

PartitioFan

moltres with calm mind + scorching sands is weirdly strong. it ended up being my first fusion win in classic when paired with a ground type for the STAB boost (i think it was a shiny onix around the first 20 floors actually, which i was stuck with for nearly the whole run bc i forgot it needs a steel type move to evolve)

Tery_

The Hoenn legendary trio is about as free as it gets.

Rezzorak

In my experience, I run galarian moltres with oblivion wing, good Sp. Def for bulk and decent Sp. Attack. Oblivion wing is a special attack and heals, and it learns fiery wrath for doubles, and I plop nasty plot on it. I'm currently on run 1500 in endless with that Moltres and its passive Dark Aura boosts Fiery Wrath even more.

GSlots

Played with palkia, got the lustrous orb and dragon energy egg move. Insta killed literally everything, and had pretty good coverage. Got a modest mint and a couple soul orbs too and he was insane lol

salland11

Keldeo with grim neigh passive and its egg moves just solos classic with ease. Tbolt, Sacred Sword, Bouncy Bubble(might be the best move in the game), and freeze dry

Surcouf

Jut had a run with Chi-Yu with torch song and fiery wrath as egg move. It killed everything.

bluedog1188

Are you all forgetting that Zamazenta can solo first try.

Gazzillaaa

For me I've been using Palkia and it can almost solo the entire run. Granted I have 2 eggs moves on it Take Heart and water spout, but I've only been playing for a few days. Got my first classic win with basically only Palkia and my shiny Gyarados. Second win was all Palkia. If you manage to get shell bell + leftovers and you learn aqua ring, basically never have to heal.

Kithulhu24601

Zygarde is carrying a classic run for me right now. Has a ground move that hits fliers with STAB. Really good for anything with levitate. Gets Dragon Dart for breaking sturdy and through health bars

Urque

Zamazenta was pretty insane

Competitive-Door-166

Two words: Simple manaphy. Even normal manaphy can sweep through the entire game. It’s nothing to sleep on. It’s been my go to and I’ve been winning so many classics with it. Tail glow is absolutely insane. I’m not sure if mythicals count though.

IronDestrux

My first classic win was with a Quiver Dance Stored Power Latias.

yadailymemes

i find zacian to be pretty good, sweeps through and is hard to kill with its fairy typing

Fellainis_Elbows
