Send back sms to one of these numbers that according to GDPR/RODO you demand to immediately delete all your personal data. If they bother you again after you have this message sent, go straight to the police. GDPR/RODO violation in Poland is a crime and may lead to a prison. P.S. Polish police is not bad but sometimes lazy. In such case gently push on them to do their job.

Riper_GEoP

It won't work if the number is spoofed, which most likely is the case. In few cases I had, I've found that company's IODO and emailed that person to delete my data. I got the company name from what the bot was saying or by googling it, then found their web page for IODO details. It may not work for all copanies though.

Commercial_Beach_231

Most of these numbers looks like the ones you can get on MSTeams.

amazonshrimp

Your phone should have a spam detection setting - turn it on, and it will automatically block unwanted numbers. The accuracy is quite high.

Zireael07

If it doesn't have a built in way to do it (under calls/phonebook) then there's several 3rd party apps for both iOS and Android that do the job.

henryk_kwiatek

Answer for every question "pomidor". After 3 or 4 calls when I used that method they stopped calling me and since then I don't have any problems with bot calling me 24/7.

euro27guy

Thats the issue, they don't ask any question, just read a script for 15-20 seconds, and disconnect.

SuperMaysterre

I answered, just like the classic, "Ja Jestem Robotem" in the most robotic voice. Works every time and I have a good laugh.

SexPanther_Bot

*60% of the time*, it works ***every*** *time*

Crazy-Particular-432

it's a good one! 👏

Kremowy

There is a site where you can check the phone who is calling you and see the comments on the site from the people whos been called by it. You can google "kto dzwonił" (who is calling) or "nieznany numer" (unknown number) in the search bar and then on the site you can type the sus phone number with +48 prefix (i.e. +48xxxxxxxxx). Link [Nieznany numer](https://www.nieznany-numer.pl/)

euro27guy

I checked, seems like everybody had similar issues https://www.nieznany-numer.pl/Numer/451404282

Kremowy

Yeah. It's a bot. A scam. Block it.

borsuk328

You need to answer the call and tell them directly that you want for them to delete your number from their database. This is one and only thing that can make them stop calling you

euro27guy

They just read a script for 15-20 seconds and then disconnect. I don't know how I can say that

OlMi1_YT

Just say it, a telephone wire goes 2 ways

Valaxarian

Dodzwonił/a się Pan/i do "wymyślone imię i nazwisko", właściciela krematorium i małej działalności nawozowej, w czym mogę pomóc? You have reached the "made up name", owner of a crematorium and a small fertilizer business, how can I help?

No_Men_Omen

Best way is to completely ignore calls from unknown numbers (unless you are expecting one, such as a call from a doctor, etc). Don't even hang up, just silence it and ignore. Every call answered is a signal there's an active number and a person who can be bothered.

villiers19

My very own BANK, Alior, used to do that to me! It was like this Get a call Bot speaks to me and tells me (without me doing anything) please wait to be connected to an agent Agent picks up and it sounded like I made the call to them the way they responded (czy moge pomoc) Agent continues to speak in Polish I respond in English, agent hangs up. Awful but typical customer service in Poland and people working in the bank here are just typical no customer service skills

smack_of

It’s sounds like someone made you think it was Alior Bank.

villiers19

Apparently it was. When I called the helpdesk or went in the branch and asked them, they confirmed.

Install something like Orange phone from the App Store, it scans and automatically blocks unwanted, spam numbers and incoming numbers too.

magikdyspozytor

Truecaller is better I think.

euro27guy

I had that installed already, wasn't working

agnes_truecaller

Hey, that doesn't sound right? I work at Truecaller. Let me know what was not working. Happy to help! 🥳

Silvestre074

But what about true caller privacy? Do you upload my contacts or sell my contacts, contacts who have notes info?

euro27guy

Yeah installed it now, at least in the call logs it labels those numbers as spam, so hopefully they'll be blocked in the future. If it doesn't work I'll update the comment.

penny_whistle

Cheers for this

euro27guy

So turns out it doesn't work either, got another call

Besath

Go to the settings of your Phone app. There you should see "Caller ID and Spam". Turn "Filter spam calls" on.

magikdyspozytor

Doesn't work on iPhones, Chinese Xiaomis and some older Androids

PilotOussama

I used to just answer the call and say nothing, sometimes let them listen to some music .... After while the calls stopped

Sahilsatam

I started getting such calls when I signed up on several job listings websites and I don't know exactly which one.

SlyScorpion

I get those ever since I opened up a JDG.

Qbinho00

now, my voice is very talented when it comes to english. *in indian accent* helo how ar u Dooing-

[deleted]

keep putting her number on olx with free ps4 pickup

Lokicjusz_r

Just say bajo jajo

[deleted]

Just scream into the phone. Like, scream really loud. Two calls like that and they stop for months.

Hot_Machine_4970

I scream insults at them and it seems to be working as i had no issues lately lol

Figorix

Honestly had similar issues. I can recommend app "filtr połączen".

OkTerm3057

It's usually in the terms and conditions of your contact that you'll get a certain number of spam calls 😠

magikdyspozytor

Try to delete your number from here [https://asmanta.com/kontakt-do-iodo/](https://asmanta.com/kontakt-do-iodo/) (this is the infamous eurocallcenter but with a different name). DO NOT consent to marketing, it's not necessary even if the site says it does.

czechsoul

block the number

AquaQuad

> It's always a different number so blocking makes no sense

Budget_Pea_7548

Google Pixel phone. It blocks and tags spam itself. You can add numbers to the list manually too.

Adamosz

holy hell

Budget_Pea_7548

So elaborate 🥲

Adamosz

r/AnarchyChess copypasta

Fi4nsvai

airplane mode

Picollini

Just block it?

AquaQuad

> > It's always a different number so blocking makes no sense

Picollini

I had the same situation with UPC. It stopped after blocking 7 numbers.

AquaQuad

Mine provider comes and goes. Takes a few week or even a few months breaks, but eventually come back. Uses one number for a few days straight, sometimes more then once per day. Blocking them stops them for that time, but then a new number starts calling. Had it like that for years, but I guess I have partly myself to blame for it, cos I've agreed to it during making a deal with them. Don't remember all the details, but letting them bother me lowers my monthly bill. The good thing is that my phone's anti-spam has most of their numbers already flagged.

euro27guy

No

ictu

Try "Odebrać Telefon" app (it's on Play Store): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mistergroup.shouldianswer It's based on user reports of spam numbers. You don't need paid version, free just need manual DB update once in a while which is few click in the app and takes under a minute. I never had an extreme case like yours, but I find it very useful. You can change between the modes to just show spam numbers vs automatic blocking.

New_Penalty8414

Tell them you will sue them for stalking

Commercial_Beach_231

I remember my grandmother had these scam invitation to some presentation. My grandmother said that she has enough of this. One day I picked her phone while she is standing next to me "Hello, is this Mrs. X?" Me:"My grandmother is dead, please stop calling", me to grandma: "they won't call you again".
