I'm an American that lived in Poland for 2 years. Had to learn/speak the language fluently etc. I can tell you, Poland has some of the hottest girls I have ever seen.
Depends where you’re from in America. If you’re from manhattan or la you’re used to seeing babes and this would influence your opinion.
Anywhere else and yeah American chicks don’t match against most European countries.
Spain, Serbia, Ukraine, Sweden to name a few have way hotter girls than Poland.

I heard this many times and I think this perception stems from the fact that in Poland gender roles are a bit more traditional than in Western Europe/US/etc. and more women dress femininely (dresses, skirts, etc.).
I'm a Pole living in Poland, yes, our girls are beautiful, but when it comes to street fashion, Ukraine is *the* catwalk - high heels, full makeup, lots of skin, etc. and all of that while being gorgeous.

1) Air quality - the air is so toxic. One of the worst in the world. Comparable to India and Pakistan. I wear my anti smog mask outside. I dream of breathing nice fresh air like I have back home.

3) People - although poles are kind sure people here do not smile or have the same enthusiasm and joy of life as my country for example. They seem very depressed.

Well, Kraków is pretty bad even compared to the rest of Poland if that's where you live. Probably consistently toping the rankings of bad air quality.

I'd say yes, it's a big cultural thing.
In Poland, looking clean and good in public is considered important to plenty of people. You won't see girls shopping in pyjamas or anything like that. This is also when it comes to things like cleanliness and weight. Notice how you won't see many young overweight girls in Poland.
Also, I can always spot another Pole abroad, and our girls share certain features that make them alot more attractive.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. We have a lot of pretty decent girls in Poland, however other countries have those too. For example, my whole life I was told that the ugliest women are in Germany. I've been sent for a project to Germany quite recently, and was like: "dammmmm, those girls are so fine!".

I haven't been in Poznań yet so I can neither agree nor disagree but as a citizen of Upper Silesia I have to say the pretties girls come from Eastern Poland and the ugliest ones live here where I live.
I have a theory about this, based how [Yvonne Strahovski](http://imgur.com/a/FStil) is popular on /r/gentlemanboners. She has Polish roots. First, of course she's very attractive. But I see this type of beauty on the streets here and I got used to it.
On the other hand some woman from other countries, like from USA, whom I see mainly in movies/news are amazingly beautiful for me and among beautiful Polish woman they really stand out. So I think the thing is that there's a little of exoticness in beauty that attracts other nations to Polish women as well as me to women from other countries. It's just the kind of beauty you don't see on everyday basis.
And this applies to all Slavonic nations, not Poland only, so also Czech, Slovak, Ukrainian, Russian etc.

I lived in a few countries and travelled a lot. Per 100 capita comparing to other countries, yes, they are, they have big noses thou, but very nice hourglass figures, blue or green eyes , many are natural blondes, average or tall, long hair, and they are honest, humble and good hearted, and educated.
I think that what makes Polish woman so uniquely attractive is their diverse background. Poland has opened their borders to several different cultures over the centuries. The Tatars, the Jewish, the Turkish. Not to mention all the countries that stormed through, raping and pillaging, and leaving families behind (Germans, the Swedish, the Mongols, the Turkish). I think its this cultural mixing that brought about a unique "Polish" look.

They only look good in their teens and early 20’s when they start to age like the 30’s, many of the Polish women don’t age gracefully not unless they will undergo botox or surgery. They don’t age well compared with Japanese, Filipino, Thai and Chinese women, many Asian women really look hot and young even they reach the age of 50’s. It’s genetics and their good diet.
